    Neurological problems due to all the injuries to my back when I frapped. It was time. After 27 years I can know that I will be spending whatever holiday with my wife and daughter instead of wondering which boogie to hit.     Would you mind clarifying this a bit? Do you mean that it was only you and one other jumper, and not four jumpers? Or did two land in the ocean and were rescued from there? 4 jumpers......bad spot....two went in the Atlantic. Myself and my buddy made the shoreline where turbulence collapsed our canopies.     You do not know what kind of training Duane had - we do not know all of his background...this man was not your usual person - ask anyone who knew him.     Your absolutely right Jimbo! And don't feel bad. He sent everybody else lots of e-mails in the hope that he could get one decent story out of it all. With me he knew he only had to send one e-mail since I only posted one story. But But But...I posted a hunert stories! No email, no calls...no flowers, no kiss my ass......NOTHIN'!     This thread hit very close to home. I came from visiting my mom on New Years day....I stepped into the washroom from the garage.....Junior my 13 YO Mini Schnauzer was lying on the floor facing the door. He raised his head when I walked in....blinked once , laid down his head and died. It was almost like he was just waiting to say goodbye. I miss him terribly. You just couldnt ask for a better friend or companion. We buried him under a tree in the backyard in a howling snowstorm. It made me feel terrible cuz Junior hated the cold. I for one have entirely enjoyed this particular thread as I was in a far away place in the military when DB did his deed......it held my attention then as it does now.
