Do you expect an answer? If so, I suggest you try a different approach. I suspended your access to the Incidents forum as well. This has nothing to do with whether I agree with your view-points or not. It has everything to do with your attitude which is even more apparent from your post above. Feel free to PM me. GROUND SCHOOL LESSON PLANS FOR TANDEM/AFF/IAD/STATIC LINE

Kind request. Please stop using ALL UPPERCASE letters, in your subject or message. It's considered shouting, which is rude, on the web. -
Looking for help finding your DZ! Not USA.

I think you're right about Nagambie and Toogoolawah. No ICAO, but here are the coordinates: Have not found Picton yet... Safe swoops Sangiro -
It's fixed. You can all PM Andrea again. In fact, just to make sure she actually gets it feel free to send her an extra one or two... Safe swoops Sangiro

You guys rock! Keep them coming. I think I now have all the ICAOs for Germany as well. Safe swoops Sangiro -
Heya all, I have added a relevant "events" link to the top of a bunch of forums. For example, there's a link pointing to "Freeflying Events" in the calendar from the Freeflying forum. Your best way to get the word out about your event is to post it in the Calendar I will continue to focus on building out exposure for those people who actually use the calendar to list their events. That's what the calendar is for. Safe swoops Sangiro

Yup. I turned those off. Not so much because they were being abuse as that i just though they were cheesy and looked tacky. The Dropzone.com approach is very much about nice clean easy design without unnecessary bells and whistles.

Yes, you need to stop being suggestive by posting a message that you know very well is aimed at me. Stop your games. Safe swoops Sangiro

Saw video of a guy jumping w/o rig!!

I hope you're kidding, because you're bound to get pretty lonely in the line you just jumped into. Greg has never been anything but up-front about how this stunt was done. I know Greg, and even if he didn't do a single stunt in his life I would still have the utmost respect for him as a person. You must know him really well to question his integrity like that. How do you know Greg? Safe swoops Sangiro -

Hey - I've seen this, but those are actually pretty confusing... to me anyways! For starters the BPA gives Headcorn as: Longitude & latitude: 510925N 0003902E I suspect that's actually the other way round. It's latitude and then longitude the way they posted it. Here's the same Headcorn listing from Landings.com: Latitude: 51° 9' 27" North Longitude: 0° 38' 24" East Now look at their longitude again (from the BPA site). If I had to try and place the minutes and seconds in there I would have ended up with: Longitude: 00° 03' 90" East ...which is of course very different! Maybe a pilot can tell me what to make of a lat/lng that's written like they do on the BPA site. Am I supposed to read it from left to right with 2 numbers for each reading except the last, or is there some other way? Safe swoops Sangiro -

There are plenty of sites actually. You can also try: http://www.airnav.com/ http://www.landings.com/ .... and a few others. The problem is often making the connection between the airport and the DZ, and then getting the ICAO code for the airport with the DZ. After that, looking up lat/lng is pretty easy. -
Due to long spot, jumper decided to land in a familiar area outside the normal DZ landing zone. Came in downwind, decided to turn upwind but was too low and impacted the ground in less than two seconds after he initiating the turn. Died some time later du

If you have listed a DZ in the Dropzone Database then you should drop in and Modify your DZ to include the airport information. In the near future Dropzone.com will be doing some cool geomapping (nearest DZ from a specific address etc) and you may miss out on that potential traffic and jumpers if you don't have this information in the database. NOTE: I have already updated all US dropzones. No need to enter the data again.

Heya all, I'm looking for some help to pin all the DZs in my database on a map. I have already looked up all the DZs in the US so please do not flood this thread with updates from the USA. Here's what I'm looking for: 1) Latitude/Longitude in decimal degrees (eg. -65.76978 +45.90890) 2) ICAO code (this is your international airport identifier) 3) DZ Name 4) Country 5) Airport name I will need at least:1) OR 2) as well as 3) and 4) Post to this thread. Please do not post unless you are providing this information. If anyone out there happens to have all this info for any country feel free to send it my way. -
You did good. Here's to you buddy. Safe swoops Sangiro

Jumper exited last on a 6000m sunset load and did not pull any parachute. Impact in a tracking position. The Cypres was turned off.

This jumper was participating in a 4 person CRW formation skydive. The group separated into 2 pairs. One of the pairs became entangled. The two jumpers were unable to cut away or clear the dual entanglement before impact. One sustained pelvis injuries
