Post whoring is not against the rules. Go for it if you think you understand this community. I've given you some pointers, listen to them, ignore them. It's up to you. (just like in skydiving!) The one thing I have going for myself is that I can say with quite a bit of certainty that I've been on these forums the longest! You'll be hard pressed to find more relevant input on post-whoring. You need to stop post-whoring. You haven't been here for a week and you're posting threads with no content, deleting posts and asking for features. If you start chasing post numbers in here you're going to find that I think you're simply wasting my bandwidth and creating noise in these forums. Check the Rules for things that will make you popular and those that will not. Remember the old saying: Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. Yup, some smaller ones probably have.... ...but pick your favorite phrase like let's say "Eloy Boogie Info" (or pick something that has been posted a while ago) and search for that on Google now. Keep doing that over the next few weeks and you'll see what I mean. Safe swoops Sangiro

Further to Paul's post about dropzone.com indexed by news.google.com Until now Google has only been able to spider the static pages on Dropzone.com - meaning all dynamic content like the forums were skipped. Obviously there are loads of information in the forums that I would like to see indexed by the major search engines to drive visitors to the site. I've implemented a feature today that will enable search bots to crawl the forums as well. So, expect that anything you post here will be searchable by people who go to sites like Google (not only the news section of those sites!) within the next few weeks or however long it takes that bot to pass by here again. Yup I actually have a Karma Moderation (for the lack of a better name!) plug-in that will enable us to do this. I chose not to implement it because I believe it will be abused and I will end up dealing with a lot of complaints for very little true benefit to the users. Webmasters often implement stuff just because they can which is not a good idea on an uncontrolled medium like the internet. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. I need to look for true value add, value perceived and try to identify the point of diminishing returns even before implementing something. Safe swoops Sangiro
