    Heya all, France is beautiful! The weather at Gap is excellent and the skies are blue. The skydives are great and the crowd is fun, even though 80% of our communication are either hand gestures or some other kind of non-verbal communication, like waving money or throttling someone! I'm a bit sore (read about that in the Incidents forum) but if all goes well there will be some more jumping tomorrow!

    Glad you like the new mail. I haven't changed the filter criteria but I did set it not to trash the messages it filters out so much. You should be able to read them now even though they have been marked. You can filter them to another folder of course... Safe swoops Sangiro

    How about we come up with a solution that doesn't mean I have to go do more work? Some people seem to be saying to me: "Why thank you for this cool new feature. We'll abuse it and then you can spend more time coming up with ways to enable us to keep on acting silly and trashing your community with noise and useless gunk". I think not. I have loads of things I want to do on this site and can be working on... also outside the forums. Every moment that I have to spend cleaning up rubbish or dealing with this kind of stuff takes away from time that I can be working on new things and solving real problems. We'll try again some time.     I really don't care if yo mama (who may hate skydiving) comes and posts here.... as long as she sticks to the 4 simple rules. On the other hand, I don't care if you have 10,000 jumps, eats and breaths skydiving and the sun shines brightly out of your ass, if you don't stick to the rules you can move right along.     Heya all, Installing a server side Virus scan on Dropzone Mail. I hope this will be done before I leave tomorrow morning. It will protect all email accounts on the Dropzone.com domain from the latest viruses like Bugbear and Klez. All incoming mail will be scanned for the latest viruses (including HTML and Javascript viruses like 'I love you' and 'Melissa'). If any viruses are found, they will be automatically removed before the email gets to your mailbox. If you download your email at home, at work, or on the road, you can rest assured knowing it has gone through the latest virus scanner. The scanning system is constantly upgraded to stay current as new viruses make their presence known on the internet. Time to switch!! Hasta la vista! Safe swoops Sangiro

    Got my rig back and I'll be flying out to southern France tomorrow morning. Will be around GAP for some skydiving and probably head down to Cannes and Monte Carlo on the coast. Plan is to be back mid next week but you never know, if the weather is good over there and there's no real reason to come back... I may stay till Christmas! Be cool! Safe swoops Sangiro

    Very nice! Now, if you want to write me a few scripts in PERL that will hit the database once a day (so we don't overload the server with senseless stat requests), generate pretty graphs like this, output them to JPG files and wrap them in HTML then I'll play along!

    nacmac, Yup - the server is happily humming along. As for PMs... it's hard to know the total including those that have been deleted in the past. Once you delete a PM it's removed from the DB and unless I track history somewhere I cannot know. I don't care enough about the number of PMs to track that. As for right now at this moment in the system: Total messages in system: 26883 Messages replied to: 17343 Read messages: 9205 Unread messages: 335 I mentioned yesterday that I purged more thasn 15,000 emails from the "Trash" folders in Dropzone Mail.... there are a lot of emails going around!     Dave, I unfortunaltely don't. Some people have their settings set so they don't show up in the "Who's online" screen. I still see all of them though. I think the highest I've seen at the same time is just over 120 members and over 30 guests. Safe swoops Sangiro
