I while ago a posted a couple of navigation tricks, Here are a few more tips: Users with more than 100 posts will now be able to "roll up" the long forum descriptions to one-liners only. To do this go to Edit Profile --> Display Settings and change the "Show Forum Desciptions" dropdown to No. This option will only appear if you have more than 100 posts. Your forum view should now be much more compact. On that same page, in Display Settings, you can change the size of the text box you type in when you post. Try something like: Textbox width (in characters): 100 Textbox height (in characters): 15That's all folks!

Heya all, I'm way behind on emails and PMs - so those of you who wrote me and haven't heard from me yet, my apologies! My lease expired and I had to move out of my house this past weekend. I'm shacking up with friends in Kent and living out of suitcases again. There has been some positive movements with the visa though. I don't have as much access to the web as I'd like and with the forum changes things have piled up. I try to drop in on the forums every day but need to prioritize the things I can get done in the online time I have available daily. I will do my best to get back to everyone, it may take some time though. I appreciate your patience and consideration. Keep the faith.

Please gather that info and post the acctual info here. There is nothing to search on in this post and it will still get lost in the future. Attachments are not deleted. If you made the post on the old forums (before the migration) then the attachment will be gone as I didn't migrate those. This software deals with attacments very differently than the original forums. Anything you attached to a post in the new forums will still be there. Safe swoops Sangiro

Yup - I purged that thread from non jumper posts... not sure why the DB didn't update the post numbers... should look into that but oo many other things to do now.

You're a smart guy... you'll learn! I am more tempted to move the entire Genral section to below all the skydiving forums! This site is about skydiving - I think that should be pushed to the top. I'm all for the general chit-chat but there's much more value for me in good skydving conversations than all the ranting and raving in Talk Back. Safe swoops Sangiro

Yeah...probably... I suspect you'll have to buy your girlfriend a PC! Actually, I don't know the reason for this. Not a high priority for me at this time but I'll look into it. It has to do have something to do with the way the MAC handles cookies. Safe swoops Sangiro

Yes that's a good idea. What I may actually do is to add an option to the Display Profile that enables you to turn them all off. Maybe this option should only appear after you've made afew posts...say.... 50?
