    And of course, today is Wed, which means Neighbors Bar nite! I have tried to go for the last couple weeks. I actually got on the #2 bus last week, but the driver forgot to let me know when we got to North Highlands and by the time I realized it, I was at Decatur Square. So I ate an awesome mexican dinner at Zocolo's, then took the train home. Now if everyone had been at Eddie's Attic that nite, I would have seen y'all... marc

    It rained today? I saw that it got darker outside, but I was inside till 8pm...and never saw any rain. I never want to drive in Atlanta. For now I am happy to sit in the train to work. I do have a car story today though. A coworker and I went to tamarind thai restaurant near work tonite. Instead of parking in the restaurant lot, he parked across the street on 14th and Spring. When we came out, the car had a 'boot' on two wheels. That's when we noticed the sign with the $2.50 parking fee mentioned. Instead, we waited around for the truck to show up and unlock the tires....for $50 !!!! That was one expensive thai dinner in atlanta! marc

    Hmmm....I guess I should stay with cingular here in atlanta.... and yeah, I think I will forget about the wireless headset. they all look like zombies walking around wearing those! thanks for the opinions... marc

    I have to bump this up. I got Cingular family plan for alysse and myself...but it seems pretty crappy most days here in Atlanta. Though the other day it worked fine in the marta train! Tmobile has the same type family plan for $10 cheaper per month, plus they will give us the same cell phones free (cost $80/two samsung fliptops).... While we are talking about this, what do you all think about bluetooth wireless headsets? Its more $$ to get a phone with that..... thanks, Marc

    Anyone have fond memories of this parachute ride? There was one at Riverview Park in Chicago, you could see it for miles away, like when driving down the highway.     That's about standard for that part of the AC system. Another $1500 for the air handler indoors. I had to replace both last year, did it in 2 phases. Hope you all stay COOL! marc

    Mr JRAF, I think you scared them off with your nasty attitude! You should try sugar, it worked for me.....now I have 30 or so new skydiver friends in Atlanta! I will be skydiving and partying with some great folks up there, during my project time in Atlanta. Of course, none of them know that you and I are brothers in insanity together....
