OH YEA! I LOVE HOP N POPS! Hehe, Seriously tho, I do at LEAST 1 hop n pop every day. I just love being up there with total canopy freedom. No one to worry about nothing to do but enjoy your canopy and take your time with it doing whatever you want. It's the best ... every skydive is great, some better than others, but I always get an awesome thrill under canopy. I still am clueless as to who you could've been, but next time I see a stranger, I'll invite for some FF'n Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

I'm only there Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays ... yea, that damn porter is real cramped. I LOVE the canopy flight, so I know what ya mean there ... I wish I could land 4 times in 1 skydive. Sometimes, with all the teams there right now, it's hard to find FFers to jump with ... we're always around tho Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

A NORMAL track ... not coming out of a speed track or anything ... I can get into the very low 80s ... have hit 70s, but low 80s is very consistant for me. I JUST started wingsuit; I'm anxious to see what speeds I can get with that. Most ground I've covered was 2 miles without a suit, also. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Well, my rig is named Christine, but that's not what I'd call my real baby girl (if I had one). For some reason, I've been wanting to name my baby girl (once again, if I have one) Trinity. No, not for the biblical sense, I'm not even Catholic or Christian (or any other of that decent). And no, it's not because of the Matrix, lol. I've always had this weird type of "thing" for the word infiniti and it's meaning and all of that. I think it would be ridiculus to name someone Infiniti, so I went with something that sounds beautiful and rolls just as nicely. Trinity. Trailer 11/12 was the best. This is going to be another one of those moments where in the future someone will ask, "Where were you when the Columbia broke up on re-entry?" I hate those moments because a lot (not all) of them are bad times. I was at the DZ, watching this all in horror (when the sonic boom never came, we knew something was up). I can't imagine being a family member, my thoughts and heart goes out to all of them. None of us really know what happened yet, so I'm not going to speculate anything and am going to just wait for some results. Hopefully they went fast and didn't have to feel anything. The good thing is at least they had the best 16 days of their lives and gave their life to something they loved. To me, that's the best way to go (rather than being killed by a drunk driver or something). I salute all the members on board ... BSBD. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Okay ... someone sent me this and I thought I'd share. Think it's a pretty cool description of that first picture. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

Good question. I actually had PRK done April 16, 2001. I corrected my left eye from 20/50 to 20/15 and my right eye from 20/200 to 20/15. With both eyes I can now see a few letters on the 20/10 line. The story with PRK is that instead of cutting a flap, they simply "brush off" the top layer of your eye (only molecules thick). The laser is actually a little different as well. The thing with PRK is this, you have WAY less chances of having any of those LASIK side effects. I think it's because the laser is wider or something, not sure as far as why, but I know that your chances of halos and other things are greatly smaller than with LASIK. Yes, with LASIK, you start seeing 20/20 much sooner, but the actual heal time is the same as PRK. With PRK, the vision gradually got better and better and after about 3 weeks I was seeing 20/20 and the 4th week, I was seeing better. It's about a month of healing time, just as with LASIK. After you get done with that first month, I THINK it was okay to start skydiving again. There were other things though that you couldn't have happen to your eyes for like 6 months. I couldn't get hit directly in the eye (with like a football or something), so if you're going to jump, take extra special care with those flying elbows and feet during your RW or freeflying. It was the best thing ... I only paid $500/eye + $200 insurence for a year so if my eyes regressed back, they'd fix it for free. After a year, your eyes will stay the same forever. I haven't seen the Dr. since my 1-year checkup, all is well. PRK is not for "worse" eyes as before mentioned, it is just a differnt method of surgery that actually has less chances of things going wrong. If you take all the eyedrops EXACTLY as you are told to take them, you won't feel an once of pain and willl heal up really fast (which was my case .. not a single day of pain or anything and I was seeing pretty damn well pretty fast). Hope this clarifies things for ya! Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

Here's 2 for you people who want to be alone to just think. Also, a lot of these are better quality (higher resolution) than I'm posting, but had to cut due to picture size limitations on the posting. If you feel like you want the full sized one, I'd be happy to email. edited to add: oh, and I do have a lot of pictures that are more cheery, lol ... and a lot of scenic ones, I've just been noticing these the last couple of days is all Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks, Kriss ... all is well! I'm feelin a lot better, it was just a couple days of this ... there's always hope ... like these little flowers. It's a little more morbid than I want, but I like the idea behind it. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

I don't know! I've had them stashed on my computer forever and have no clue where I got em from. I have hundreds that I've been looking at and just post the few I find interesting ... like this. This one doesn't do a whole lot for me emotionally, but I like it. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

Okay, I'm writing about this again ... funny thing happened today. I got a letter in the mail for a scholarship application. It's from a photography company and basically, you had to write an essay describing your favorite photograph (only 250-500 words). I laughed when I saw this, thinking about this post and picture and decided to give it a whirl. Here's what I wrote up, critiques would be nice, as long as it's constructive

I just realized that a lot of those other pictures were angels too. I didn't choose that picture because of the fact that it was an angel, but it's still a great bonus:) As far as the soul-searching goes ... that's a possibility. I have been thinking a lot about my future and how I want to go about getting there. That includes finding out what *I* want and who *I* am. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

LOL .. yea, I definately needed to jump. A little more of my time is freeing up, so I'll be able to head out there more again ... not as much as I did the last few months, but it'll still be good:) Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
