I never thru my 2 cents in (probably not even worth that much), but here goes ... I've always been a firm believer in to each thier own. As long as they aren't endangering myself or my peers (by jumping high), do what you want to do. I know of a lot of people who do smoke, but I've never known one of them to do it until after sunset. Whatever your views are about legalizing it or not, I don't care ... right now it is illegal, so if you get caught, you knew what the price was. I would never bash law enforment for enforcing the laws! Maybe the law needs to be changed in your opinion, but that doesn't make it legal yet. I remember reading about the fact that oral sex being illegal and such ... well, in the military, according to the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice), it is actually unlawful to have sex in any position other than the missionary ... I've actualy even seen someone charged with breaking that law!! OSI (Office of Special Investigations [the Air Force's "FBI" of sorts]) was actually surveying them for other reasons, and they just stuck that charge in with the rest of the main stuff. True story ... so ... babbling on ... here's the 3 points: 1. To each their own. Just don't hurt anyone else. 2. No matter what your opinions are about the law, it still is a law. 3. Not sure about the mobo either, but if it got great reviews, more power to it! You can probably snag that WD 80Gb 7200 rpm 8meg cache for around $75-80 instead of over $100. This is after a rebate of coarse! Check out http://www.bensbargains.net/ ... they have a lot of good deals you can get! Try and get a flat screen (not flat panel) monitor ... they look nice and crisp! I have a 19" Trinitron and love it! I'd go with the before mentioned RAM upgrade as well. Personally, the Live 5.1 is nice and all, but doesn't compare to the Audigy, but you said you didn't need it, so cool. Oh, and good choice on the video card ... you won't be disappointed! All of these are obviously IMHO! You'll have a pretty kick ass beast! Congrats! Check out ben's bargins site for sure, you may be able to lower your costs some! Nice read there! The Mig-29s are definately a very very agile airframe!! Those things will fly circles around ours, except for the up and coming F-22. The thing about it is, however, the avionics of our F-15s is truely unbelievable!!! (The F-22s are getting better ones if you can believe that!) The only way a Mig-29 would stand a chance against an Eagle (F-15) is in a close air combat ... long range, Eagles win hands down (as you saw by the stats). They managed to only down F-16s, which are agile crafts, but not quite as much as the Fulcrum (Mig-29). Also, the F-16s are not built for air superiority (like the Eagles) and do not have the avionics ... Those Vipers (F-16s) probably were on "wild weasal" missions (the F-16CG for instance) ... which is a very tough mission sent to destroy the SAMs and clear the paths for other aircrafts. This is just IMHO, however. Thanks for the read I definately love those Migs! If we had em with our avionics technology, it'd be so cool ... but alas, we have our Raptor (F-22) coming!!
