    Five Great Lessons!

I got this in an email and loved it and thought to share it. Sorry it's not that great looking, but it takes too much time to fix up the email editing! Bear with it please It's also kind've long, but once you start it, you don't want to stop! Hope you enjoyed!! Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  2. I don't really drink ... usually only when I have to buy the case will I have 2 or 3. Other than that, it's not often at all, hardly ever. I don't get any greif about it either, it's all good ... to each their own. Oh, and I buy all my owed beer! I'm definately good about that. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    is it too early?

Nice .. a fellow Stoli drinker! I love Stoli Vanilla! I drink Stoli Vanilla straight up on the rocks in a glass. I don't like mixing it with anything. Don't like the citruses, but Stoli all in all is awesome. And Ray ... it's never too early for BeerThirty. As long as you're done jumping, pop em open my brutha. This coming from a man that doesn't drink anymore. Edited to fix a spelling mistake. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  4. So this is for those times when the mate says, "Not now honey, I have a headache." Here's your answer! Sex CURES the damn headaches!! No more excuses for him/her!! LOL Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    Awesome Video

Most of that video looks like it was shot over Nellis AFB in Nevada. A lot of them read WA which is the weapons school pilots. For those that don't know, weapons school is the "Top Gun" of the Air Force, but 150 times harder! They go for 8 months I think (not 100% sure) and they learn EVERYTHING about the plane and weapons they use on that plane (circuit diagrams and all for every peice of everything). It's getting a PhD in flying basically on top of learning all the manuvers and things. I got the luxory (spelling?) of watching every one of those planes in full out action at Nellis ... it's incredible! JT, did you go to the air power demonstration back in August I think it was? Great video, thanks for sharing! Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  6. All numbers are in SAS MPH. RW (what little I do): 110ish (but I can speed up on my belly when needed, without weights). Sit: I can go as slow as 115ish and as fast as 150 in a sit, but average 135-40. HD: Avg 160s, top so far 210. I'm a real lightweight, which works out great because I have awesome range in freefall. I can sit square around 125ish and big at 115ish. I normally sit a little smaller than square to fall at the same speed as "normal" people. HD is normal, when my arms are at my side I'm in the 200s, but usually never that high. Tracking: low 80's covering a little over 2 miles from 13500ft (about 88-90 seconds of freefall). WingSuit: Birdman Classic (waiting on my GTi): been in the 30s (2 minutes freefall from 13500ft-4500ft), but average 50 (1minute 40-45 seconds), and when I'm flocking or playing around, low 70s. (about a minute and a half). Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  7. The film didn't come out all that great. They're preparing another jump with an even better setup so they can get better footage. That's what Vladi told me anyways. Edited to add: That's why the film isn't "released" all over the place. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    How much?

That's only if you bought the software/cable combo first and then lost it or if it broke. In my email I asked, and they said I have to buy the whole combo. I don't think anyone sells just the software alone anyways. The $39 software they have is just the upgraded 2.0 version, so you had to have bought the original first. That's what they told me anyways. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    I am Hungry!

I just made a gross sandwich, but I have absolutely NOTHING to eat other than that!! My fridge now only has 2 slices of cheese, water, butter, and mustard. That's all, lol. What was this gross sandwich? A quadruple stack sandwich made up of nothing more than 11 slices of turkey-bacon. Ugh .. and it didn't help any Oh well ... time to study for my 2 mid-terms. Well, try to anyways ... Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

  11. It was done in Deland just recently while testing the "skyhook." Tried to get good footage of the skyhook in action, and I think this was one good way of getting it Edited to add: The guy left with the "bi-plane" at the end was the one wearing the camera, obviously. Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  12. Good job I liked it a lot! Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  13. I mostly pack my own, but there are times when I pay. I usually pay when I want to get on some loads real fast (It still takes me around 15 minutes to pack). I CAN pack faster, but I choose not to. I figure the packers could use the money anyways, so I can be lazy. When the packers are real busy, I pack for myeslf. Also when I'm in no hurry and am having a real relaxed day of jumping. Sometimes I just don't have the money, and sometimes I'm just too lazy. I dunno, there is no science to when I do either way, so I'll just vote for the BOTH and stop rambling Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    How much?

I sent them another email asking if I could keep the batteries (since I just bought them less than 2 weeks ago) ... I thought it was nice of them to say yes The only other thing they requested was a copy of the correspondence between us when I ship back the old ProTrack. Great service! Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    How much?

Ok ya'll ... here's the email response I got! I'm very pleased. So that explains the $39 for the serial# ... it's just Jump-Track2, which I downloaded, not the original! My dealer is selling the package for just over $100 ... there's no way I want to pay that much, anyone know of a good place to buy it? I'm really happy with the fact that they'd send me a new ProTrack on good faith that I'll send them my old one back. What an awesome crew! Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    How much?

I just emailed them asking some questions ... I'll post when I get a reply! Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    How much?

I believe before the ProTrack came out JumpTrack was, and still can be used as, an ordinary logbook program, without the the freefall profile data. Cool :-) Hehe ... which brings me back to wondering how I can buy that cable? LOL ... I checked their website and the closest thing I found was buying a serial->USB converter for $30. I'll just email them Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  18. TB99

    How much?

The cable isn't available separately from the software; it's an effective piracy deterrent. Shame on you if you were thinking it would be cheaper to just buy the cable and copy the software and serial code from a friend! L&B are good guys. They'll change your old ProTrack to one with a SLO mode for free so don't try and bilk them for the software. If you weren't thinking that then I apologise! LOL ... nice, but no. Not what I had in mind. Their website has the software available for download and you can purchase the serial code from them for only like $39 I think. I already downloaded the software and was planning on getting the serial from them that way, but still needed the cable I'm confused as to how they expect me to use the software after I buy the serial from them if they don't sell the cable seperate?? Edited to add: Oh, and apology accepted since you had that at the end of your message Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    How much?

How much is it to buy just the PC-link connector and where from!?? Thanks Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  20. Ok ... just to clarify ... I know this is an old post ... My ProTrack doesn't have a "SLO" setting in the jump type menu, does that mean I should send it in?? It shut down on me today from going slow, but the tones still went off (altitude warnings). What's the turn-around for this if I do send it in? Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  21. Just wanted to say that dealing with Kim and Sarah over at Bird-Man is absolutely wonderful! Some of the best customer service the skydiving industry has to offer for sure!! Thanks for everything ... I can't wait until my suit comes in (April 6th?? ) Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
  22. Hey! I got a new personal best today too ... I have no idea the exact numbers tho, I'm only guessing somewhere close to the 2min range maybe ... My Pro-Track said I deployed at 10000ft!! I guess at that point I really dropped my vertical speed!! I dearched, rolled my shoulders, pointed my toes really straight, and made my wings perfect and I felt myself pretty much stop, lol ... I wish I knew how slow I was going, but the time from exit (13500) to that deployment of 10000 was 38 seconds and the average of that (that's all it shows) was 54mph ... any clue as to how slow I actually went??? Horizontal distance was about 2.5miles (according to the GPS the pilot had). It was an awesome flight, ahhhhh! Loved it ... This is on an original classic ... can't wait for my GTi! Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    My New Car!

The new C6's are going to be awesome, but that's not anywhere near what it's going to look like. There's a guy who has all the C6 info back on the other site (only gives us a little bit of info tho) and he said that none of the car magazine pics that keep getting published look right. The C6 is going to have a LOT of horses tho ... and the C6 Z06 that comes out in probably 2006 model is going to kick some serious butt ... by then, maybe I can afford one Wishfull thinking ... lol Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

    My New Car!

LOL ... I see LOTS of SupraTTs ... not as rare as you think ... There's a difference between a Corvette and a Corvette Z06, and you don't see Z's nearly as often. Oh, and not ALL vette owners are midaged going thru a midlife crisis As for me, I'm driving a $1k '86 Honda Prelude ... but I have my own gear Trailer 11/12 was the best. My New Car!

Yea, I know the LPE setup ... they're also installing boost controllers that can allow you to bump up to 1000hp. They don't recommend any more than that. The real nice thing about their setup is that you can drive it daily and it's tame as ever, but if you get on it, HOLY COW! Here's a write-up of a guy from that forum who actually had his done by LPE. What a car ... Edited to add: WOT means Wide Open Throttle for those who don't know ... basically pedal to the metal. I can't explain everything in this, but one term helps better than none, lol ... Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
