Our Small DZ... Will let me do what I feel is best for me after the time and $$ I've put into the DZ video over the last couple years,, similiar to the above it's a no contract situation and we would all benefit,, the DZO, and the student program don't actively advertise yet, but the tandem vids obviously bring in customers... I am still setting up my digi Rebel and was thinkin also along the lines of Shutterfly,, just haven't done the search here for the already posted info on it yet... I think I would preview with the customer which images they would get, but would have to burn to a disc at home and have them get there own prints wherever they chose,,, Shutterfly would probably be linked to my site,, there I think anyone could order prints?.... Low and crappy on the East side of the state also... Yesterday they spotted several funnel clouds around Spokane and possibly one tornado,, buckets of rain and hail 6 inches deep in some places,,, but we still managed 3 loads at the DZ 20 miles west of town! It wasn't perfect but doable, 2 loads to 12 & one to 7k at Sunset,, ya just had to get through all the shit to reach the DZ... no loads today tho... Natural Born FlyerZ.com

Every one of our TM's have a different count it seems,, some slow, some gone after a nod, I get with him before the load, plan the jump like any other for the count, lighting, opening etc.. helps me anyways Natural Born FlyerZ.com

My dogs woke me up one night late,, I could hear the lil ol lady next door talking to them, she used to give them bread and snacks,, they weren't barking a warning bark or anything so I told them to be quiet,, the next morning we found the lil ol lady had died the day before.. no lights on in her house so we figured it was before sunset... Think she just wanted to tell the dogs goodbye,, I used to have those "can't move" dreams often as a kid,, if I could relax through the scary part, I could then "fly"around the neighborhood... So sorry to hear about this,, Don't know him, but he's sky brother and haven't met yet one I didn't like!! Kim best to you, family, and friends,, take care of yourselves also!! The skin is the largest organ in the body, keeps sterile stuff in and infectious stuff out. In burns, large proteins, electrolytes etc. can leak out. This causes massive fluid shifts due to changes in the osmolality in the cells and blood stream, thus the fluid in places it shouldn't be, like the lungs... and not in places it should.. like the arteries and veins.. Burns place a tremendous stress on the whole body system, and infections are a serious threat. Prayers from me for all of you... Natural Born FlyerZ.com

That is very cool! My daughter and her BF are getting post HS grad jumps 2 days after graduation while family is still in town...I shoot tandems here and they both want me to shoot there's... and we'll fill our C-207 with as many other camera flyers as we can also.. We had scheduled it last Fall,, but her BF creamed an ankle the night before jump day playing football.. She is really excited, has seen so many of my tandem videos she knows the drill, is going to help at the DZ this year editing tandems, and already wants my rig when I get a new one,, it would be sweet if she decides to take the ISP but thats all her decision... Thanks for all your guy's input! There is so much info here my eye's were burning by the time I read just some of the posts loaded with good advice. I decided on the Digital Rebel, Lexar 256 card with the kit lens from Ritzcamera with the 1 yr ESP for $1277 (Thanks for the link Lew). I liked there warranty better than the "Mack" that was offered from dbuys. And a Coceptus tongue switch. Hopefully with the stereo plug... it didn't specify on the order which type it had... don't feel like cutting and soldering right away!! My mount is gonna be made by a guy from work that does awesome shit for our aircraft... when done I'll post some picts of it... Thanks for clarifying that Dagny, As far as insurance, most require a referral from your regular doc to a specialist before they will cover them, so getting your primary doc to give you the referall to an OD, OMM doc should do the trick, and don't ask him either, tell him you want the refferal. A good doc shouldn't hassle you about giving you one. Again, I've only had the OMM stuff done twice, but really liked the gentle correction and counterforce as opposed to the chiropactic method. They are MD's and know there shit when it comes to anatomy. I was amazed at my friend telling what she was feeling and doing at the same time. Way cool... Natural Born FlyerZ.com

I like Dagny's advice.. (Good luck in school!) I have a friend in an OM program in AZ and love to be her practice dummy whenever I can,,, & an MRI is the only way to see the soft tissues that are giving you problems. I avoid pain meds if possible except to help sleep when my back acts up,, like to know if anything I'm doing aggravates the injury, which then just prolongues healing, and these injuries just flat take time to heal! Looks like head movement to me, as opposed to camera shake/vibration. I'm curious if you are using any kind of a site ring to know where your camera is pointing. I have a simple reinforcement label, like you get at an office supply to reinforce 3 ring binder papers, inside my goggles, cheap and effective for knowing what your filming. I think with Wade's suggestion of relaxing, using the glass of water analogy also, and more jumps,, it'll get better!! Just don't get too focused on filming!! Good luck bro! Hey gang, Will be getting a camera, but with a daughter graduating HS soon I'm considering getting the Rebel for this year and I'm excited to be getting a digital still period since I don't have a still camera at all. The "Burst Rate" thing is confusing me. What is the differance between a burst rate vs the FPS#. I would be shooting mostly tandems and then freeflying for fun, so how many more shots will a D10 get over a Rebel while in freefall?? Is there a period of time in the jump when the Rebel isn't taking any picts at all while it buffers?? Thanks again! Billy Natural Born FlyerZ.com
