Nice skydives, watched the video no problems, but I see a lot of horizontal artifact whenever the camera moves,, in Vegas, 2 settings to help minimize that are "bypass motion blurr" and "reduce interlace flicker" but it may be some other shit,, I may be the only one seeing it?? welcome to the world of editing! as if you didn't spend enough time in front of the puter already!! Hate these friggin things! I'm thinkin your far enough south of the North pole, any direction could work really, so that when you head East, the circumference of your flight path puts you back where you started when you initiated the turn, then heading South puts you back at the DZ! Not taking into account earths rotation. Mathematically I have no clue how to figure that out,, Isn't the circumferance of a circle something like "pie" "R" squared,, so "R" or 2R, or some shit of R, would be how far South of the North pole you'd have to be at the DZ... Ok I'm busted, soory, haven't any stats on other countries DUI BAC's, penalties etc. will have time later to look,, it's more my understanding tho that many places that have lower age limits for alcohol, and less problems with it in general, also carry stiffer penalties for DUI once caught, maybe some folks here can clarify it for us,,, and ya it's a tolerance thing also, kid's at .06 will be more under the influence, many alcoholics will go into DT's if there BAC gets below 2.0 and will still be yelling at you with a 4.0! If a kid is not under the "influence" at .06, he probably already has a problem with it, IMHO. Thats what wake up calls are all about. I was a slow learner and glad I finally gave it up completely. The DOT considers anyone with special licenses, ie pilots, buses, cabbies, trains etc, + for alcohol at 0.02 in this state. That was news to me and learned it the hard way. If you look at most other countries, you will see the US is pretty lax actually... Ya he's basically screwed and really needs a lawyer, not only to represent him, but explain all his options. Wet/Neg to an insurance company is a DUI, they know,, so does the DMV, here its 5 yrs probationary license no matter what the court says... Yea it's a wake up call,, when he turns 21, it goes up a notch to .08, but he will have this now under his belt, on his record. If he doen's get his shit together, the next one will really suck! DUI's are like STD's, folks don't think it's gonna be them. It's getting really old editing tandem videos at home! I'm curious what types of Video mixing boards you guys are using?? Makes/models,, what do you like and dislike about them?? In a recent issue of some PC mag.. It all boils down to what you have at home to play your DVD on,, what program, disc type, etc, doesn't make any differance... Most newer DVD players can play both DVD+/-R or RW discs, but not all of the ones a couple years old will.. if burning a DVD for friends,, I give folks 2 pre-burned discs, a DVD+RW and a DVD-R to take home an try out before I burn a disc for anyone,, for video, the DVD+RW disc reportedly makes a better disc...
