  1. Wow, the FBI must be reading this forum I was just talking about these codes and that we needed the other two.. Here they are.. New York Times,, 9999992649? Seattle Times,, 3245343434
  2. No, the airplane dipped 3 to 5 degrees.. not the stairs There are certain people in this case that keep repeating the error that the plane was on autopilot.. Why is it important,, because it was noted that the pilot wouldn't feel Cooper on autopilot,, Rataczak did feel Cooper because he was hand flying the plane. If he felt Cooper he had a better idea where Cooper jumped,, if he didn't feel Cooper and it was on autopilot certain people try to claim Rataczak didn't know and maybe it was turbulence.. By claiming (falsley) that the plane was on autopilot certain people are using that to move the drop zone.. The fact is Rataczak was hand flying the plane and it is very important.
  3. I understand the Himmelsbach book on its own.. my point was that,, with it also in the FBI files years later (Cooper w cig stain) when a different suspect is discussed there is a double ninja inverse time travelling conflationary epoch involved for BOTH to be false. The same error twice in a different time and context?? I can almost accept the Himmelsbach book being a conflation.. Himmelsbach also mentioned it in interviews but we have corroboration in the FBI files and that makes it harder to dismiss. Possible but harder.
  4. Rataczak was hand flying the plane, HE SAID SO.. STOP claiming it was on autopilot. Bill Rataczak: “I did fly it and I found out that Jack Waddell was absolutely right when the stairs came down that flight that airplane lowered about 3 to 5 degrees and I was hand flying it at that time you don’t want to see my flight path because it looked like connect the dots, but we weren’t concerned about that because we knew we were in a safe altitude and air traffic control was watching"
  5. It is possible but I can't agree that we have all the info necessary to draw that conclusion.. it is always a leap to claim a conclusion based on a negation.. (what we don't have) you need more info, a stronger argument to use negation. If it was only Himm's book I might agree.. but two independent conflations or coincidences is tough to dismiss.
  6. Original pages? How do we separate out duplicates.. almost all the file pages we have so far are repeated.. some many times.
  7. Can't be, I remember Carr, I think it was him, giving an estimate for the volume of the files at the FBI and it was something huge.. I'd have to go find the exact quote but my impression was that what we have is a fraction.. based on volume.
  8. We only have a fraction of the files...
  9. I don't know, we don't have enough info, we don't even know if it came from Tina. The FBI was withholding info. It is hard to understand out two independent conflations years apart.. The one in Himm's book, maybe,, but how do we get the other one as well.
  10. The tie clasp... This was discussed years ago but needs a refresh.. the more recent images of the tie have the clip on the left side. But, earlier images show it on the right side. The clip has been removed many times and was put on the wrong side.. In this UV image, based on the particles the clasp was on the right side. Also, men's shirts have the buttons on the right side, the clip can't hold the tie to the shirt if on the left side, it has to be on the right. So, whether the wearer is right handed or left handed the clip has to be on the right and doesn't indicate the handedness of wearer. Right side..
  11. Not exactly sure what your point is.. The argument is that Himmelsbach in his book and in interviews conflated a suspect A (cig stains) with Cooper... possible and, years later in the FBI files suspect B (cig stains) was also conflated with Cooper... I find that difficult to imagine... two independent (sig stain) conflations years apart.. Anything is possible but it doesn't surprise me that Cooper would have cig stains..
  12. because there would need to be a three way conflation and through time.. or Himm's book had a conflation and years later another independent conflation in the FBI files.. What is the likelihood of two independent conflations years apart.. We have a fraction of the files, we don't know what we don't know.. Anything is possible..
  13. Assertion 1... there is a reference to hijacker Cooper having cig stains on right hand. The conjecture is that it is a conflation with the suspect Eugene Cooper, but the problem is he doesn't match the guy in Himmelsbach's book published years earlier and he has "cig stains on fingers, right hand", while Cooper has "cig stains on right hand".. Like most of this case, we just don't know for sure.
  14. but it is also written in the FBI files regarding a seemingly different suspect... after the book came out. So, conflation doesn't make sense unless it was a ninja double conflation through time and space.
  15. Possible, but there is a problem with that... The FBI files were referring to a Merlin Gene Cooper from back east when the cig stains on Cooper's right hand are mentioned... (stains on fingers for Merlin Gene Cooper) The suspect the woman described in Himmelsbach book was in the PNW named Dan Cooper.. they don't appear to be the same person.
  16. No further info on that... Himmelsbach has also mentioned it in his book, not clear where he got it from.
  17. How's that working for you so far... The intro letter was just bait to get Gunther interested,, the person claiming to be Cooper wanted money, that was explained in the book. If the real Cooper lost the money in the jump he would have the motive to try to sell his story...If the real Cooper didn't lose the money, it is unlikely he would contact Gunther or anyone for money.
  18. That is true,,, Gunther could have added it as a coincidence to give Cooper parachute experience or possibly he read about Elsinore in info from Himmelsbach or a FOIA.. But it would have also required the Elsinore suspect to be Cooper... Lyle Cameron walked back his claims and there is no evidence Cooper was at Elsinore. Lyle's big walk back.... "may be coincidental"
  19. That was "Cooper's" first contact letter,, the "Cooper" later stated that he wrote it to get Gunther's attention and he really just wanted money. Maybe you should read the book.
  20. Low voice.. is mentioned during a conversation with Tina,, Rataczak said everything was relayed via Tina except when Cooper said he couldn't get stairs down.. no voice info from the pilots They did have the stews listen to a radio caller's voice..
  21. Yes, he got some things right and lots wrong.... but the info in the narrative was via Clara not "Cooper"... So, the info wasn't first hand.. because of that nothing can be checked.. was Clara making up a story or was Gunther or both?? No way to know.. The only conclusion I have is that Gunther was contacted by somebody claiming to be Cooper.. either a hoaxer or the real Cooper,,
  22. I didn't say he got Elsinore specifically from Himmelsbach. He got case info from Himmelsbach.. that is a fact. Some use Elsinore as proof Gunther got it from Cooper because he had no other way of knowing.. just as you posted... my counter point is that Gunther got case info from Himmelsbach and probably FOIA's... There is a reference to an author doing FOIA's for a book in the FBI files.. So, the Gunther Elsinore claim is bogus, he could have obtained that info before the book was published. Try to keep it straight you have this all screwed up already,, you are now arguing that Gunther did communicate with Cooper/associate. There is lots on Elsinore in FBI files... it has been discussed and posted.. I am not interested in doing your homework for you.
  23. Yes, some have used that to claim Gunther had info from the real Cooper and he was the Elsinore suspect... I don't agree. Gunther never mentioned Elsinore, he had info from Himmelsbach and most likely some FBI files.. IMO, Elsinore was an embellishment by Lyle Cameron who was an FBI informant,,, Lyle later walked back his claims.
  24. Link doesn't work,,, no access
  25. The only BS'er is you,,, You established a strong opinion and when challenged to back it up only then do you search out justification for it.. because your opinion was poorly developed. You are trying to backfill your opinion. Now, backed into a corner you double down on personal attacks.. Repeat, rinse, you follow the same pattern every time.. You still can't admit that the money was in packets... you must have made hundreds of posts attacking me for using the term packets.. because you can't admit you were wrong. Himmelsbach thought it was a hoax... not that Gunther was a hoaxer.. he shared info with Gunther and that explains much of the stuff in the book.. The evidence supports Gunther being contacted by somebody claiming to be Cooper, there is no evidence or argument for Gunther making that up.. the person who contacted Gunther may have been a hoaxer or the real Cooper. Even Gunther admits he may have been hoaxed..
