  1. Is it cheaper to go with the thick lines? Or do they stretch more?
  2. I think we had this conversation not too long ago "What happens on the DZ stays at the DZ!" so I can safely go for those skydive chicks too hehe
  3. Sweet A$$ my ex GF just broke up with the asshole boyfriend (actually he broke up with her because he wanted to date some other girls...yes girls plural) and she was talking about how she is remembering how much fun it is to flirt and that I need to go up north and visit her This kicks ass

    Need a day off?

damn, show me the paper work and I'm there!@
  5. I like wearing a jumpsuit anyway. It doesn't really matter how "Cool" you look. You aren't going to look very cool if you reach for a handle and can't pull it (scary shit sangiro) and you burn in. Find a comfy JS and just bite the bullet. Trust me your not going to be worrying too much about the way you look when your flying.
  6. What the hell does that mean anyway "No Lift!" "Uh oh he's gone no life, he's diving blind!" "Wait explain what is no lift?" "Crazy, suicide, I DON"T KNOW!!!"
  7. Hehe, I go to school for free...highschool
  8. Thanks, I definately need to start getting more video anyways
  9. Yeah yeah I'm still on student gear, anyway last weekend I tried rear riser maneuvers. And when I did a RR flare, it felt SOO different from a normal flare because I think I actually stalled the canopy. I have never been able to stall the canopy on a landing flare with toggles and consequently I think that is what is partially at fault for my innability to land on my feet. Question is should I find a rig with better control range? Or maybe I should try a rear riser flare on an actual landing to see the difference first?
  10. Just sell the thing, if you don't want to sell it, tell me when you plan to throw it off a bridge and I will be at the bottom to catch it and hock it for jump $$$
  11. I hate school. I've already missed my first class today (english) now I'm pondering whether I will make it to my physics class. I will definately be at school after that because I'm in a construction class and we are resuming the building of a house, but I have 15 minutes to decide whether I will go to school now or at 11:30
  12. Go for the reserve because at that height you don't know if your main will be fully open or slow you down enough to avoid triggering the cypress and you don't even want to mess with the dangers of a two out situation.

I can relate. I hate going to school. Especially after a weekend of doing anything BUT my homework. And it seems that the best days for skydiving as of late, are the ones when I am stuck in school. I hate looking out the windows at the beautiful blue sky...I should be IN THE SKY!!!!
  14. LOL Snowbird, I love it! Extreme Web surfing!
  15. I think it'd be funny as hell to put on a full face, altimeter, birdman suit and rig and just walk down the main road in town for a while hehe
  16. I tried to view your pic, but it said that it did not exist...
  17. I open up...(sniff sniff) and this is what I get... LOL
  18. Does anyone here have any skydiving related idiosyncrasies? From time to time I find myself donning my altimeter. Infact I am wearing it right now. This might be because I just bought it (my first...) last weekend. Are there anyother strange idiosyncrasies out there?
  19. This guy doesn't sound like a responsible skydiver. It would have been less rude for him to say "Actually I would rather not give you a gear check because I am a lazy mo-fo", than to give a half assed visual check. If something had gone wrong I would have hoped that he would feel like shit
  20. Well let's create a book, here I'll start: Once upon a time on a tropical island in a place where it NEVER rains yet the islands flourish, there was a DZ with every A/C you could imagine and everyone jumped for free....
  21. Hehe, I would love to see crosswind but I don't have the money to buy it and I haven't seen it at my DZ. Actually I was suprised to see the number of skydivers that read. Not the ability to read of course (although that was a suprise of it's own ) but the quality of books they...well I think I can safely say "we" now...WE read. Although I LOVE to watch skydiving movies I think there is something to be said of the feeling you get when you are buried in a book. I think you are able to FEEL it more because you are really using your brain not your eyes.
