Thanks! I think i run on that part of my foot due to gymnastics....i was always taught to run on the balls/toes because it was faster and easier when going to mount the aparatis...but i wasn't sure the effects of it with long distance.... my calfs are rather strong, but my ankes are fairly weak...i had them taped all the time during gymnastics...dont want to get into that with running though...i was hoping to strengthen a bit... *daizey*

Expect to learn a lot and have tons of fun! I was in the tunnel in Orlando last week for 14 minutes...i was amazed at how much i learned! Definitely bring a video so you can watch it after! I wasn't too sore when i woke up the next morning but as the day went on i began to feel it a little more and the day after that was the day i really felt it...mainly in my arms.. I hate running, but since they took my pool away, ive decided to try it out....had been running on a treadmil up until this past week. Weather is finally getting warm in NY so ive been heading outside... Anyway...I noticed today that i tend to run on the front part of my foot...this is wrong right? Should my feet be hitting heal to toe? Ive noticed at points that im running on the balls of my feet and towards my toes.... Also....which is better? running on the road or on a grassy surface...i ran a mixture between the road and horse trails yesterday...and while in the horse trails my legs began to kill me....is it because im on an area thats not flat? Any other running advice would be greatly appreciated as well! Thanks *daizey*

Since i haven't looked at this thread all day im gonna attempt to give my opinions all in one post haha...sorry if i left anyone out!! Skysprite-love the meaning behind the initials, so awesome! Only 3 are kinda symbolic and thats just cause i got them when i was away from home for awhile. My uncle signed the permission form thing...i thought for sure my parents would freak but they didn't. 2 others were done when I was a baby..and the other 2 were done cause I was bored at the mall one day...lol froglady-nice! i love skydiving tattoos. I miss how you could miss a day and it didn't really matter....especially senior year. I think I spent more time at the beach than at class! lol.... It'd be so nice to be in high school again becuase if it were a nice day, I could say screw it and go jump without any real consequences (except getting yelled at by my parents). If i did that now id probably fail my class, and get fired I also miss backrubs, and my friends, and all the fun things we used to do..I miss passing notes (well my we passed notebooks too), cutting class, lunch (haha my favorite period), I even miss some of my teachers! Football games, dances, oh and making the morning announcements -i loved doing that haha. I miss sports and that fact that all of the teachers loved me so i could get away with anything...it just doesn't happen like that anymore But ya know, as much as I loved it, I wouldn't wanna go back... *daizey*

There are so many threads out there on who has what tattoos or who has what pierced...so how bout telling why you got your tattoo or piercing (or plan to get) and/or the symbolism they have? Mines kinda silly, but very true...I have my tongue pierced. When people first meet me im rather quiet and kinda shy....but once they get to know me they find out im much wilder and crazier than they thaught on first impression....so it kinds symbolic cause when you first look at me youd never know i had it pierced (as long as im not playing with it or yawning!) but once you get to know me, youll probably end up seeing it....(corny i know lol) So m ine kinda symbolizes my inner self...make sense? Thank you so much for posting this...Ive been learning a bit more about this topic lately and though i know i will never truly understand it like those who are experiencing will, its nice to be able to have a little bit of an insight on the topic.... Up until recently i only knew one person who self injured...it killed me to see him go through so much pain...caring for a person and watching them go through this, knowing there is nothing you can do or say that will help is really difficult...i was only about 14/15 at the time....now that i am older and know others who are cauht in this viscious cycle, i am much more curious to learn more...Ive never been involved personally with self injuring, but i do have some ways in which i can relate to those who are... Ok, so anyway, thank you for posting this....and to others, know the signs to watch for....its not always arms that are cut either....the one guy i knew cut his ankles so it was easier to hide...and if you do know anyone who is stuck in it...give all the love and support you can *daizey*

lol, on my way to tampa i was talking to the guy next me, we were talking about how he hated landings...i mentioned that it had been awhile since i actually landed in the plane i took off in...he kinda just looked at me and said "you mean you don't normally land in the plane?" i said "nah" and then i stopped talking and turned and looked out the window...i could see him looking very confused and even slightly scared outta the corner of my eye! 3:0:4 3 kids who got sick on the airplane.... No jumps...but the wait to get back in the air is extrememly short now! Lots of firsts this weekend! I owe beer for my first time to FL and Zhills, first trip to disney, first trip to the tunnel, and first time volunterering my seat on an airline and getting stranded in Atlanta all alone for a night Great weekend, much too much to drink but a fun time! *daizey*

Yesterday I was offered 2 roundtrip airline vouchers if i gave up my seat on my flight...i was pretty hesitant but then i thought, Hey, now i can afford to go to Perris! Ed, i think her stalkers gonna be sad cause Im thinking shes not gonna be coming with me this year...with the exception of the tequila night she got pretty bored out there... I can't wait to see so many people again, and i can't wait to meet a bunch of others - Im especially looking forward to meeting Vanillaskygirl and Sunshine!!

What's your most interesting flight experience? Mine came this past weekend. After having a great time in FL this weekend, i got to orlando and got on my flight to Atlanta which then connected back to NY.... So i get on the plane and i make my way to my window seat and theres 2 cute kids sitting next to me...they're afraid of flying so they are already in their seats and buckled in and refuse to get up....ok, so im a small person, so i just climbed over them, no big deal. The kid next to me likes to talk...a LOT...he tells me all about FL, where he lives, and his fmaily and friends...as soon as hes done we're told our flights delayed...yippee...this plane was soooo hot. So we sat there for a 1/2 hour sweating....fun. Then a baby about 2 seats up starts screaming...she didn't stop until we were finally ready to depart.... The kids next to me are freaking out...clenching onto one another, really scared...we go to take off and as were building speed they start to scream...they thought we were gonna crash...well that screaming was enough to get the baby crying again, then i glance over and notice the kid on the aisle has taken advantage of that little bag they tuck into the seat for ya....his brother wasn't too far behind....they must've gotten sick about 4 times each By this time the planes smelling GREAT....and i have 2 little sick kids next to me....luckily they fell asleep until we began the decent....it was really rough...lots of turbulence...one woke up, and screamed "AHHH We're crashing, im gonna die!!" Then threw up again....his brother did the same They also managed to freak out the kid behind us who then in turn got sick...all over his 3 year old brother who began to cry....then baby in front of me bagan to cry too.. The minute we landed i could not WAIT to get off that plane...but there was already a plane at our gate, so we had to wait awhile....i finally get off, find my next gate and grab a bite to eat...i call my mom and viking along the way to share my horrible experience, then took a whole lotta advil for my headache... I get back in time to hear that our flight is oversold...more passengers than seats...first they asked for vulunteers...then say they may have to bump people if more don't volunteer....when i heard they were offering 2 roundtrip ticket vouchers anywhere the airline flies, plus a free hotel for the night and meals, i decided, why not?...so i volunteered my seat. Well the girl screwed up and put me on the wrong flight out in the morning (she was sending me to Utah, i was like UTAH!?!?! NO! NY!!!) By this point i was really regretting getting onff that plane, but she straightened it out, got me a new flight for the morning and I spent the night at a very nice Doubletree hotel in Atlanta.... Get to my gate this morning and the flight is again oversold, but unfortunately i had to go home so no more free tickets for me...I finally got back to NY on the first flight out this morning, an uneventful flight except for the guy sitting next to me who took up his seat and part of mine....made it back in time for class this morning....but am now EXHAUSTED!! I'm trying to figure out where i wanna use my vouchers for, but at the same time, i dont really wanna see a plane again (or kids) for awhile! How about you? Any good stories out there?

haha yes you called me, then you handed the phone to your friend...i dont rermember his name but i do remember talkign to him...you got the phone back and i ended up letting ya go cause you sounded like you were having toomuch fun to talk I woke up this morning (in the right trailer) with my shoes still on haha. I was still a little drunk, but after a few bottles of water im feeling much better....and so far, so good...no hangover (or getting sick lol) oh and dave...i do rememeber a lot....not all, but most of the night *daizey*
