Daizey

I love daisies...but the name Daisy was already taken by someone who hadn't logged on in a long time and has never posted, so i figured it'd be ok to take the name and change it up a bit and not have to worry bout anyone confusing me with someone And well, since life sometimes leaves me dazed....i decided to join the two...and voila! the name daizey began...its funny now cause most people think its my first name, but its not even remotely close... I wasn't always daizey here though, in the beginning, i was sunny007..but that was too much like sunshine, and i wanted to be unique....thats also a reason why I went with daizey with a Z instead of just daisy or daisey.... *daizey*

Wow, so glad everyone is ok!! From the looks of your local and state news stations it doesn't appear that it was a tornado...I looked and none of the stories seem to mention it at all... So sorry for everything you lost. Very scary! Sounds like you have soem great people out there and around ya there to help ya out! Again, glad you, and everyone else is ok! *daizey*

I grew up with 2 brothers and we were always trying to drop their GI joes and ninja turtles out the second story window of our house with different parachutes me made...later we moved onto my dolls (they broke easily-specially that porcelin one we tried-oops ) Once we got bored with the dolls we tried making them for ourselves...I have many memories of jumping off things with my so-called parachute...we used to "parachute" off my brothers bunk beds...we tried trees too...once my dad caught me...luckily, cause i was pretty high up. He then explained to my why a throw blanket would not work as a parachute oh i also remember those little skydiver/secret agent kinda things you could get outta those machines at the supermarket...they occupied us for hours too lol *daizey*

That's crazy! Glad everyone is ok..I've been through two tornadoa in my life...crazy stuff. I was young at the time and soo scared. I;ll never forget thining it was over, coming into my living room and seeing it tear up a house just down the street.... Glad nothing like that happened right there and you all are fine! Thanks for the info...I couldn't make out anything on that voicemail that dragontail left me...just heard the words tornado, I'm fine, and winds. *daizey*

Hope Tony and Kate are alright...glad it didn't cause a substantial amount of damage to the house... Was there in fact a tornado or was it just high winds? If it was a tornado, did it come anywhere near the dz? *daizey*

just got a very staticy voicemail from a friend in Raeford who said there was a tornado that went through either last night/this morning or the night before-not sure when the message was left. He said he was ok, but very scared! Hope everyone from down that way is safe sound, and ok today... *daizey*

Nope, I was only in FL to get into the tunnel-I just happened to be staying with friends at Zhills. I wont be jumping for a week or 2 more... *daizey*

I haven't jumped since September, I know exactly what you mean about just thinking about it...only 2 more weeks! *daizey*

Here's mine..i actually have two of them...the first was my jump ever, the second one i have is form my first jump at my dz (i was a student) no pics of the 2nd on though... *daizey*

If ya want cheap, check out jetblue or airtran into JFK or LGA as well. I live on LI so I'd be more than willing to pick people up at the airport in NYC and bring them up-if you guys could all get in around the same time even better! Peachsouthern may come up to and shes from LI as well, and i think she talked about being able to offer to give rides as well. Also, a lot of people from the ranch are from then NYC area and many are always offering to give rides... Camping at the ranch is so much fun. Theres always typically a big bon fire and night, and ive seen the fireworks too-fun stuff. Plus the people there jsut make everything so much fun. The camping is basically around the swoop pond, but if you want to get away from everyone and all the noise, you can camp over in the student area - definitely more peaceful over there....the showers aren't all that bad, as long as you don't mind a sulfur smell...the shower and water kinda smell like that but when you get out i assure you, you won't smell like it at all. Its really not that bad. They're also generally kept very clean. It's gonna rock this year, hope you all decide to come out here! edited to add: we have lots of planes, 3 super otters, and then there's a 4th one too just in case we need it. (i think its jsut down the road, ive never seen it though-but from what ive heard I think its pink!)

lol lucky! I wish i had gotten a warning...both of the times i got pulled over...lol Instead i got two yucky speeding tickets I've gotten 2 speeding tickets and only been driving for 3 years haha...oh well it coulda been worse! One was for 70 in a 55 the other was 81 in a 65 I've learned to slow down-sometimes lol. *daizey*

aww cmon what happend to that whole trial and error thing? As long as the slide isn't too high...lol That sounds like stuff i did as a kid-but it was outta trees...my dad never stopped me, and he took pics lol-course my mom yelled at him haha...I treasure those pics now...I'm sure that kid would treasure the pic someday too! gawain, i wouldn't mind shopping so much if i had some money to spare-right now id rather save it to finish up getting my A lol.... Haha although I thought the same thing when I walked into the kindergarten class today and though, omg, they're trusting me to teach these innocent sweet kids? At least when i worked in the daycare all i was resposible for was playing with them and making sure they didn't stick things up their noses or soemthing. Haha, now I'm responible for teaching them too Oh well, its still gonna be fun! *daizey*

Hooray! Today i came home from class to a message from the woman who runs the preschool I applied to work for. I was rushing out but stopped to call her anyway...I'm sooo glad I did, she told me I got the job!! Hooray!! So now Mon-Fri afternoons, I have a classful of the sweetest little kids...and Friday mornings I help out in kindergarten. Hehe, this is going to be soo much fun!! Only downside, the school I'm working for has a strict dress code...no jeans or t-shirts...there goes my entire wardrobe!! I hate dressing up...and this means I have to go buy all new clothes...haha oh well, it's worth it! Sorry to ramble on, Im just so excited! I've wanted this job soo badly for so long, and now its mine! Hooray! lol
