Currently I live about 150 miles away from my home dz (above the poconos) But im gonna be moving for the summer which will put me at about 210 miles from there...and 71 from skydive the ranch *daizey*

hmm so, what do you guys think? First solo, first off dz landing (though technically i still landed at the airport), and first time landing in a tree (and managing not even to get a single scratch).....many important lessons learned, and 3 guys who helped my poor canopy get free from the tree (the tree decided to free me on its own....thank god for PLF's), as well as a whole lotta laughs later on...oh it was also my first time having to clean out my helmet before putting it back on (i figured all those leaves and twigs i found in it wouldn't be so comfortable) I'm thinking that equals a whole lotta beer....I'm also thinking that being under 21 and being not able to buy it saved me a whole lotta money today *daizey*

I came across a rig that the owner mentioned that has a reserve that was relined by the manufacturer two years ago. The reserve has a couple of rides on it. Besides damage done to the lines on a reserve ride, what could be other reasons for having a reserve sent back to the manufacturer for realignment? *daizey*

I wish i still had my diaries and journals from when i was younger. But once when i was cleaning my room my dad mixed up 2 bags...one had stuff i was sorting, one had stuff i was throwing out. Unfortunaltely he took the wrong bag and burned all my diaries by accident He felt really bad. I do however still have my boxes from kindegarten and first grade. Found something the other day that that was cool. One was what i wanted to be when i grew up. I wrote: "I want to be an astronaut so i can live on a star" Then i drew a 5 pointed star. Im sitting on the top of it hugging the top point hehehe. The other was if i could be anything in the world what would i be...i said a duck, so i could "say quack, have cool feet, float on top of water and swim, and fly" *daizey*

1 night spent under the stars: 2: I think i lost count... What an amazing weekend....2 awesome jumps...first one was a little bit shaky but the second one made up for it....Tracking is fun!!! Got to play with my canopy a lot too, getting to learn a lot about it which is coool

Today alone i learned that one shouldn't shoot a wild turkey out of turkey season....specially when it turns out to be the neightbors pet Ive also learned how to make a sling shot out of many things.... Oh, and ive learned that being a little girl the can easily be picked up at a DZ where theres a rather large swoop pond can be interesting....and that guys generally have a better aim on their second attempt at throwing that girl into the pond...although missing the water and landing in the mud certainly was interesting... *daizey* -
