To all: I can bring in some of the Phoenix-Fly tracking pants/jacket demos if anyone would be interested - they seem to appeal to the BASE crowd more than the skydivers so I thought I would ask here. If interested please let me know or I will not ask for them. We will also have demos of all other Phoenix-Fly wingsuits and a few GS1s if anyone is interested. The Texas crew just got ours today -- we will be trying them out tomorrow as soon as possible. They look awesome and mine fits great -- Ted and Bob haven't seen theirs yet as I just opened the box with all of them in there. I would vneture to say the internet has caused some of the decreased attendance also Now everyone knows of every boogie going on and where what kind of aircraft or organizer is, so instead of spending all the alotted funds to one week long trip to the WFFC they might hit 2 or three boogies more suited to their needs. just a thought The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

To Darren and Ted: What I know is, when I max out it hurts because I am a pussy and i refuse to work out because it is uumm............ WORK!! When I flock with friends it doesn't hurt, therefore flocking is fun! I just wish i could put as much thought into how the human body works as you guys -- I still haven't figured out how my dick gets hard, but is does and until it stops getting hard I am not going to concern myself about it As for the whole wingsuit progression thing, I let Robi take care of that

You have to learn how to fold it carefully and not stuff it in a bag as the mylar will bend and break if not taken care of. As for performance you'll probably not ever know the difference --- my advice would be no Mylar on your first suit and when you decide you want bigger wings (because bigger is better) order a top end suit and it will have the mylar in there The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

I think it totally depends on what you want out of the suit. --- Best all around can do everything and is extremely easy to fly would be the Acro --- The Phantom will give more forward speed, but doesn't have backfly inlets to allow the suit to inflat on its back, and the Phantom has wingtip grippers which allow for more performance but when flying with your bros your all going to be flying at 80% or below so it doesn't matter It really depends on what your looking for in a suit The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

So I have had the Acro suit for a little over a week and have put about 5 flights on the suit so far -- here are my thoughts: 1. If I had to give back every suit but 1 I would keep the Acro. It has great flocking range, it is super stable in all realms of flight. 2. This suit in my opinion would be a great first suit for anyone, ease of use, no grippers to worry about, and easy pull. 3. I have a big smile after every Acro flight. I would highly recommend this suit if you are looking for 1 suit that can do it all --- if you are going to have more than one suit put this one on your list to have...if you get the oppurtunity to demo one jump on it. (disclaimer)Yes I am a Phoenix-Fly instructor --- but I have jumped almost every suit that is readily available and was able to make an unbias judgement (in my opinion anyways) The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

Ed, Ed, Ed --- I was just trying to help out a fellow wingsuit instructor that was trying to make a little cash ---- at most I have ever got was $10 suit rental -- which is waved most of the time and slot to jump with them. Nothing has changed in Texas we are still the kind of wingsuit pilots that like nothing more than stirrin' the pot to get you BMCI/BMI all spun up Wait I did actually travel this year out of Texas to jump.
