  1. was doing some coaching evaluations yesterday and as usual things were getting a little rushed well any way after telling my guy to slow down and telling the manifest to slow down as my student was not ready i got a little distracted, then told my packer,s to hurry up with my rig. distracted again, grabed my rig (atom and firebolt 101) grabed my guy ran to the plane, he as per his course brief attempted to give me a gear check and still in a rush to get in the plane i said ok good job thats the second check done jump in 5k and calmed down slowed down (sleeping) my student does his third check and i let him go allthe way through his procedures, know we find out that my top flap has not been closed deep breath gear off pullup cord out closed in air, i felt like a moral of the story slow is fast. assumption makes and ass. rushing is what gets you killed! so dont life is a journey not to arrive at the grave in a pristine condition but to skid in sideways kicking and screaming, shouting "fuck me what a ride!.

  3. very true! i allso think they complain just because they can, i like doing tandems and find the day goes buy to fast if i am happy and sending out possitive vibs, the sollution to having people complain around you is prevention! as such i have designed a set of ear protectors that will filter out complaints to a range 0f 50 ft all round me, they work great dont let the wingers get you down smile and be nice this realy upsets them

  14. here is the advert All you need to do to participate is place an order for your Sabre2 canopy through your favorite dealer. And when lucky 6,000 comes up – John Leblanc will contact the winner personally. So what are you waiting for? so you gota order a saber2 then if you win you get a saber2, hmmm if you loose you still get a saber 2 but you gota pay for it, reminds me of those clever internet adds you know "you are lucky winner no 100 all you need do is attend a 16 hour high pressure sales pitch for time share you dont want, spend 2million lira on travel insurance, airport tax, transfere fees and taxi to and from mexico and the flight, and you can have a crappy small room next to the local prison 10k from the beach. why not say the truth in adds like this you know like... if your ordering a saber 2 you could get it free if your order comes in as order 6000. if your not ordering a saber two please feel free to use this clever marketing ploy and order anyway even if the saber two is not the right canopy for you life is a journey not to arrive at the grave in a pristine condition but to skid in sideways kicking and screaming, shouting "fuck me what a ride!.

  18. absolutly but you need to fly up to 120000 feet inthe shuttle for it to work and since we fall fast enough to absorb oxigen through our skin that will be ok and as we are that much closer to the sun it will be nice and warm, so we can go naked. i think first we should try it on smaller formations though say a 5 way. btw what would the break of altitude be on a seven hundred way that your gonna land? btw #2 gear manufacturers of course will deny this as then they will noy sell any gear ever again so there is a conspiracy of silence, finnaly if you belive all of the above pm me as i am selling a nice palace in london formerly owned by the queen (marraige forces sale) heheheheheheh please feel free to deleet this post have a good week guys life is a journey not to arrive at the grave in a pristine condition but to skid in sideways kicking and screaming, shouting "fuck me what a ride!.

  20. hi guys. just had a few good days skydiving and one jump. i had to tell my aff student that aff was not fro him but to swich to iad. second time in the plane that he has refused to jump, he again complained of hypocsia / being sick, and did not want to move to he door. so i had to take him down in the plane, after thinking for a bit i decided that aff was not for him, he needs to do a more gradual progresion steping up in height and becoming acclimatised to the air. i belive that his main problem was fear, and nomater what he / we talked about on the ground he neads to progres more slowly. sad cos i failed. life is a journey not to arrive at the grave in a pristine condition but to skid in sideways kicking and screaming, shouting "fuck me what a ride!.
  21. i have done a few thousand dispaches with s/l direct bag seen perfect exits end up with twists, seen nice pack jobs end up with twists and seen some real crapy's with no twists. twists happen when the d bag flicks as the lines are being un stowed, i dont know of any way to stop it from happening, its just the disadvantage of the system. sorry for jumping in and highjacking your thread. life is a journey not to arrive at the grave in a pristine condition but to skid in sideways kicking and screaming, shouting "fuck me what a ride!.
  22. make cash? a made loads of cash yep made lots buckets full enough to settle the gross national det of america yep i made it all. yep made it disapear in skydiving. on the other hand it was money well spent life is a journey not to arrive at the grave in a pristine condition but to skid in sideways kicking and screaming, shouting "fuck me what a ride!.
  23. hi there. sorry to here some skygods are giving you a hard time, keep your chin up and eyes open dont worry about not getting invitations to do those big ways you will have more fun doing smaller formations anyway. you have to wlk before you can run just keep honest with yourself and those around you, if it becomes a real problem speak to the dzo, he is there to make the operation work and if your not getting what you want then he should be able to help you (within your limits) good luck life is a journey not to arrive at the grave in a pristine condition but to skid in sideways kicking and screaming, shouting "fuck me what a ride!.
  24. i think there is a diffrence between an instructor chatting to some kids without using any form of advertising persuading them to jump and a company set up deliberatly to steel copywright material in the interest of proffit. the diffrence is intent. what skyride are doing is moraly and ethicaly reprehensible, the more i read this thread the more disgusted i get at a company that basicaly rips people of this damages our sport when the customer finds out they leave with a bad tast in the mouth. i would like to here that sombody takes up the torch and takes these guys to court go get em shut em down. sorry for the rant life is a journey not to arrive at the grave in a pristine condition but to skid in sideways kicking and screaming, shouting "fuck me what a ride!.
