The only way to be both is to be "anti-gun" as a personal decision you only apply for yourself and those you are responsible for - and you'd let others decide for themselves if they want guns or not. I know the pro-gunners on this site respect that position. ... You could call or write to Mirage. 1 - what's the issue, you jump shirtless? 2 - They have a container sizing chart on their website. Go look. (Example - MT sized for Stiletto120 and PDR126 according to the chart - are those canopies equivalent pack volumes?) And you could also ask your rigger about fitting those canopies in the MT. ... Actually - this thread is likely now longer than the License Requirements section of the SIM. It took more effort to put up the post and to check it frequently than it would have to just read those chapters. r.panfil - if you are really serious about moving through the progression, just sit down and read the whole thing. In the restaurant or the drivethru it's just completely over the top with prompting: 1 - Don't take the first half minute trying to offer me something from the list your boss told you to ask everyone. I can order without that. 2 - Don't ask me "would you like anything else" - I already completed my order 3 - If I want to contribute to whatever charity you are pushing, I can read the sign you have up there, don't ask me. 4 - (eat in) - sure ask me if I would like dessert. But stop there. That way, if I say 'no thanks' then I don't have tolisten to you list the freakin' menu. serving is too much talking, not enough listening anymore other - if you have a Stop Sign, could you just come to a complete stop so everybody else knows what order the right of way is. Creeping forward like that is just idiotic. ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants

they are both really good rigs - I'll soon have an Odyssey, a G4 and a Vector and they are all fine. I've jumped Wings and Infinities too and those are nice rigs, too. In order of priority for your two: 1 - Which one do you like the looks of best? 2 - Does the delivery time really matter that much? 3 - What is your rigger's recommendation or preference (I doubt a good rigger cares much) For your reserve colors and stitching, just do what your rigger prefers for ease of inspection - he'll see it more than you. that said - I'd go used unless you have a bunch of money ... I watched Nick's (PD) vid and thought it was well presented. Double wrapping regular bands makes a lot of sense as double wrapping puts rubber to stow contact 360 degrees all the way around and it will hold better than a tight small band single wrap which only makes 180-270 (est) contact to the stow. try it. My main goal is to make sure the locking stows come out last. 2nd goal is I'm lazy. So I'll use regular bands with doubles on my locking/grommet stows (main goal). I'll use singles with small bands on the rest even though my opinion is doubles are better there too (2nd goal - lazy). this is a change for me from the last 20 years - I was a single wrap with small bands guy - we'll see if it matters, I've never had a bad line deployment that caused any issues, but old dog vs new tricks - I'll give it a shot - PD does the research and I'm open to it. I got to pack and see the UPT bag and I really like it. And it fits with the idea that clean line stretch means the locking stows are the most important. I plan to convert sometime soon on my two sport rigs. My Crew rig I won't mess with, I'll continue to pack it with a shovel and duct tape. ... And what would be the fierce and open political discourse that would be communicated by such commentary that needs protecting? Instead of calling him asshole in his courtroom, how about using your right for real change rather than just making yourself feel good. Go to the town square and speak about the judges and how they don't support the law, and how they abuse their position and how the people should get up and vote them out. Use it to do some good, rather than some temporary nonsense. Yeah, just vomiting out any random, pointless thing and not having the gov shut it down is protected (should be under law). So certainly calling insults to random people is protected, it's a pretty stupid exercise of our rights. A hell of a lot different than standing in town square and giving a speech over how the war is mishandled, or how we should be spending our precious tax dollars, or engaging in a productive speech about rights - it seems people get more upset about wearing profane t-shirts, or getting to swear at cops. Nevertheless, I'll stick up for the right to publicly be an asshole because it also means the right to speak for something worthwhile isn't restricted along with it. Of course I'll always support yelling "HEY, Asshole" in the planes at a boogie. But that's for different reasons. ... My wife builds suits. And she made one for our daughter when she was about 4 - very cute - she thought it was just regular weekend clothes. It was for Halloween (she also wore a minirig backpack we had) - we said "ok, time to go out and trick or treat" and she started taking off the jumpsuit and asked where her costume was. My wife has since made her both a (fully authentic) RW and a freefly suit for tunnel flying. That's tough, they are harder to build and the RW suit especially is only good for a year before they grow out of them. That RW suit was gorgeous. She's using the FF suit this March when we tunnelcamp. Pic is 4 years ago (11 year old) ... I liked it, not because of the Tibet thing, but because Timothy Hutton admits he's a preachy pain in the ass on these things essentially. "Oh god, here's ANOTHER commercial with a cliche hollywood actor pretending to be all sincere and judgmental and save the world - maybe he'll insert politics too, ((golf clap))" as for everything other than the game itself? (commercials, pregame, halftime, anthem, etc.....) YAWN good game though - and the players all acted like they liked each other - but still came out competitive and gave a good game. ... thanks for you insight on it I'd say I would hold every person to that standard and not just cops. It would be a betrayal no matter what. (however, certainly a standard that would be a 'definite' for a cop and reason for immediate dismissal if they fail to meet that standard due to the fact they would be placed in a position to test that standard more often than your average joe. But I still wouldn't 'increase' the punishment of the individual, but I would call into question the selection process of a department that didn't screen successfully - that's where 'society' has to pay for their protectors failing to meet that trust. The individual gets punished just like everyone else - also they can't hold that type of job if they ever did or not.) ... I don't get that. Why? what isn't functioning correctly in your psyche? Do you think it's a character flaw or something admirable or even impressive? Worse yet, some people find this attitude to be macho rather than, frankly, sad and pathetic. And it ends up being some kind of posturing. Everyone (mature adults without seriously mental health issues) has a choice to control themselves. You CHOOSE to stop. I don't believe someone "can't" stop - it's a "won't" thing. and an crappy excuse to cross that line. It's a seriously question. I've never heard a good reason for someone even thinking that about themselves. ... that is the crux, isn't it? I can't lean that way yet. "bonus penalties" rings very wrong to me for any rationalization. It reeks of potential for abuse. I'd rather that the cop gets the same penalty for the crime as anyone committing that crime (equal treatment under law). Violation of trust needs to be addressed by that individual not being given that job again - that's administrative to the job. ... I guess, more so, I'm just interested in a discussion about right and wrong less than just what's in the code - at least as much as a hypothetical discussion about justice and fairness can go anyway. If we just note, hey, read this law on the books and accept it - then these discussions would be pretty lame. Or, in this case, me just putting forth opinions and you just being obtuse to my points but not offering opinions of your own. ... Are you a cop? or a doctor? or a security guard? or a really hot woman? then no - you shouldn't be arrested as long as it's a clear part of your job and you have my consent directly (doc, guard, hottie), or my implied consent (as a citizen when as a cop you are conducting a lawful search). in any other case, yeah, you should be arrested for assault - even if you are a cop, it the search is unlawful, then assault could apply without need of a 'special' definition just for cops. ...
