  1. Well, like you said ... ...and that's ducking the issue of placing a value on sanity. Get emotionally involved with a stripper and you will discover levels of pain heretofore undreamed of. Michael Comments about strippers: It's honest work and anyone who does honest work should be respected for it Low intelligence is not a defining quality. In fact, anedoctal experience leads me to suspect that the mean intelligence of strippers exceeds the general population. Most (and I mean the vast majority!) are fucked in the head concerning any relationships. Their job is their drug. It's the only aspect of their life where they have power and control. The interest and desire (expressed as cash money) from men is their sole barometer on their self-worth. Are there some who can do the job and remain above the addiction ...well, I guess. Kind of like, in theory, there are people who can fire up the crack pipe 50 times a night and remain elusive to it's grasp. What strippers do: They sell illusion (not unlike most relationships, actually). A good stripper will sum you up quickly. They are all about providing the illusion you seek. With a deep look, and an inviting smile, she will make you feel like a man. Your heart soars, the world is a more beautiful place and you are a stud!! She wants you ...you can see it in her eyes. It's a drug, really. All told it's better than alchohol, I guess. Michael

  3. 1979 on a sunset load at the Shrimp Boat Boogie, I was sitting in the door of the DC-3 on the way to altitude when the sky and ground spun around. Pilot did the smoothest barrel roll I've ever experienced (well, it was! OK, it was also my first :). One g throughout. We get on the ground and I'm carrying about the incredible barrel roll. Blank looks and questions like, "dude, you got enough to share?". Without the visual, most were unaware. It was my 6th jump on a baloon suit and my SCS. All in all, a most memorable jump. Michael
  4. No big deal about high. I've done it for the last few thousand jumps.
  5. Your recent chatter on the site has also been pretty entertaining . . . Thanks! Sorry, can't sincerely return the compliment. Michael
  6. I was thinking more along the lines of tardive dyskinesia. Michael
  7. Bull-shit. It's a site that has provided a wide and deep sense of attachment for me and many others. The only times I've noticed HH take action are when an obvious dickhead surfaces. Even then, there's a lot of latitude granted, as you've well noticed. Well, Karl you little shit stirrer. Bored? Want to see if you can rev up Willem and make something amusing happen? It's a nice site. The guy that owns it has his rule as all site admins do. I agree to comply with those rules or go elsewhere. Now if it means more to you and fills emotional needs, great! Happy for you. Peace out, Michael
  8. I've seen this. Did you take my comment to be negative??? Not at all. It's a nice, well organized site and is a most convenient way to share ...stuff with others skydivers. I never really quite got people ...bonding with rec.skydiving either. Believe me, I realize there are many levels of emotional involvement with this site. I'm delighted it meets your needs. Michael
  9. Greatest things? It's the place for skydivers to communicate within the confines of what the owner feels is appropriate. It's a sweet site ...but that's all it is. Michael
  10. The bill was brought out of committee a month before the election for campaigning purposes and no politician in his right mind would vote for drafting young men for slaughter just before an election. Take off your ideological blinders, dude. I believe you see what you want to see. Michael
  11. I am quite sure that I am straight since I'm disgusted by a woman's parts, and I think that a guy's parts are just funny. A woman's parts look like a really bad car accident with severe flesh wounds. They're like faces, Val. Some are beautiful, some pretty or cute, most just average looking. Unfortunately, the vast majority of the ones that I have seen ...are in need of medical attention. Michael
  12. No! I was fortunate to see the PAIN a few friends went through when they did this. After that, easy decision. Michael
  13. My day started out kind of bad, actually. NSFW Michael
  14. 1/2 Slovak ...English, French
  15. Considering more than a quarter of a million U.S. women and teenage girls get breast implants each year, I'm wondering if women are actually held to that standard ...by women. Michael
  16. Sometimes when the complexity and diversity of an activity makes it difficult to devine, look at the activities surrounding it. Let's look at ...hack. :) DZ games of hack on the DZ used to be a bunch of people in a circle all working cooperatively to keep the hack going. You may take a couple three cool shots, but the object is to pass and keep it going. Watch hack on DZ's now. It's pretty much one person showing their stuff with a few other people waiting to show their stuff. I'm not criticizing this but I believe, however, it does give a glimpse of the current skydiving mind set and I wonder if that mind set is geared toward large ladder construction. Things change. Not for 'better' or 'worse' ...they just change. Michael
  17. If the 'quality people' aren't there because they love what they are doing. If they do not share their experience and skill freely and gladly, not only should they not be paid ...they shouldn't be there. Somehow, "My House, My Rules" has taken over many aspects of skydiving and lost sight of the beauty. Michael
  18. Good points. Sadly, much the same thing has been happening with CRW lately. Michael
  19. I think the combination of boredom, painkillers and lack of sex have brought out AD's alter ego. Michael
  20. Oh, I'd pay to see video of that! Michael
  21. Very scary too! I think we touched twice. A man your age going for seconds. Whooo Hoooo! Way to go John!! Michael
  22. Like much in life, who you are takes a back seat to how you look, speak or type Michael
  23. Beautiful scenes!! Just a sec while I go take a pic ... Edited: Perhaps I should have waited till sunrise. Michael
