You jumped? You played, deployed, and landed safely and able to jump again? I don't call that a waste, I call that a jump. Please, never jump with me, ever. I have fun in this sport. Every jump is a new challenge. A new adventure. So it might not go as planned, so what? You didn't even blow the whole dive, you still got 2 points? Some of the most memorable dives I've even been in blew apart right out the door and never fully recovered, but the view from above was awsome! Of all the jumps I've done, there are NONE I would call a waste, and only one that I regret, but that's personal. It's your life, live it! Peanut, Daddy, this is the bonfire! What you are posting like right now is expected here! Just keep gramps away, ok? RL came, and so far it hasn't fallen apart, but I don't think the server could handle him... It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Every time I try and use my Sony through firewire for a webcam I get nothing but headaches. The firewire works great for transfering video, but for the web cam use, I've found that using the usb works MUCH better. Just remember to turn on usb streaming in the camcorders' menu... You will NOT find a clearer web cam out there. It rocks for this use!

Isn't that a bit tricky at 3500ft? OK, the next time I have it out, ON THE GROUND.... It's been a non-issue with the old classic and the S-1 I've been flying, but I'm planning on an S3-S later this fall/earlier this winter, and it's possible that the increased performance/burble may cause a problem, but it's nothing a few test jumps won't answer... I agree with the comments above, and I stress to make sure you keep your leg wing closed until you pick up some air speed. Here:http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ver2/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=1723 Is the shot from the basket of my jump with my original classic. The jump did work out fine (~28 seconds from 5100 feet), but I opened my legs waaay too soon, causing myself to go head low too fast. I have no doubts I could have goten closer to 40 seconds had I paused longer on the legs. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Why smaller PC ? The normal recommendation is to get slightly larger PC due to the extra burble and slower descent rate when using WS. On WS BASE for example people generally use 36"-38" PC's when on standard terminals they use 32"-36"'s. Still, I've been skydyving with wings standard ZP PC for about 100 wingsuitflights and had no problem with it. It's what shipped with my 2k3. Honestly, it did worry me at first as it is quite a bit smaller than the PC's I was using, but as of yet I have had no problems at all. No hesitations either. The next time I pull it out of the pouch, I'll actually measure it. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Racer 2k3. Corners are open normally anyway, from what I've seen, so that's a non-issue. I do have a the longer bridle combined with a smaller pilot chute, which seems to work perfectly. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

I recorded just the technical data (Neptune) in my logbook from my first flight, and got it signed, but the flight was recorded in another way..... Damn, Kreg. I was trying to envision the damage you were describing when we were on the phone, but after looking at the pictures, I wasn't even close. Think positive, buddy. Dang Rev. That's awesome. I'm so yearning to jump with a Bird Man suit. Unfortunately, I can't afford one, not even a used one. Good luck and congrats on the new yob. Enjoy! Tanks. I work nights now. 10-12 hour shifts (depends on how quick I get my assigned work done), and net weekly what my wife grosses every two weeks. I've been a kept man for the last 2 years (Hi Twardo ), and our income just tripled. My shift is Tuesday to Saturday nights too... Leaves Sunday for jumping (tonight off though). Just started a new job, work nights, just got up, and the money hasn't started rolling in yet. I figure 2 more weeks from now I'll be hammering out the Bird Man jumps again! Then I order my S3-S. Then I order my Firebolt. Then my wife sees what I spent, and buys a new car. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Yep. My wife and I bought our home 2 years ago for roughly 2/3rds of its' appraised value, and roughly 1/2 of its' assessed value. It had been on the market for over a year and a half, as a repo, with the owner (a bank holding the title) being located over 1400 miles away... It was NOT marketed well, and the resulting offers the first year were quite low, and turned down. After being on the market that long, and empty, our low ball bid was grabbed just so they could cut their losses and dump it. Our bid was over 10k lower than the lowest bid from the year before... We are now sitting on over 150k in equity because of this. (Granted, I have added ~40k in remodel materials, and I'm not counting my own labor against the equity.) Use a realtor, but make sure they are good, and don't be afraid to change (fire) if they don't produce... It's your life, live it!
