I'd find and post more pics, 'cause Katie is worth it, but I don't want to look like a stalker and, quite frankly, I'm skeeeeerd of Mono Uno. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

No, you're a Georgia person so you're guilty by association. HEY, that wasn't nice. I have no idea what went on and don't care, but to say Georiga people are guilty by association is wrong. That is like me saying Florida people are all old and can't drive so you are old and can't drive by association. Someone ban her for a personal attack against people from Georgia. OK! 'mama, you're banned! Now, go to my room! It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Other. My "official" hours are 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. but I am usually at work between 4 and 4:15 (can start right away, no big deal) and it's a "work 'till you get your shit done" kinda job, so I'm usually in my car heading home before 3 a.m. It's your life, live it! Some pretty good advice in this thread, so I'll add my $.02. I ALWAYS suggest that jumpers (that ask, and some that don't) stay at no higher than a 1 to 1 wing loading for their reserve. I figure if they are asking, they don't need anything smaller. Also, if they are really light, where exit weight would be at 150 or less, I say 150 to 160 sq feet or larger. Smaller is just too twitchy (again, for those that ask. Those that don't ask are either experienced enough to choose for themselves, or probably wouldn't listen anyway...) I've had a buch of them ask me about my reserve, and I have no reason to lie to them. I jump a PD126R that I load somewhere between 1.6 and 1.7 to 1, depending on meals recently eaten. I've been forced to land this canopy twice now. Once (first time) on my first night jump, pitch black, NO MOON, and once on an out landing, low pull, while jumping a Bird-Man suit, downwind, in a front yard, between a row of pine trees and a house. I make it a point to tell those asking that I make no bones about it, this canopy will KILL me, if I do not LAND it. If it lands ME, I'll be lucky to survive. That deters most from going small, at least too soon. Stay light on the f111. It just might save your life. It's your life, live it! Jager Bombs are good, as are RB&V's. Up here in the North Woods we like drinking mass quantites of alcohol, so we drink Lunchboxes. Lunchbox: Take beer mug and place a full shot of amaretto in the bottom of it. Slowly fill mug with a light ale or weak beer. (Newcastle, Rolling Rock, hell even Miller or Bud Light.) SLOW is the key. If it's slow enough, the amaretto will stay in the shot glass and not mix with the beer. Keep filling to within an inch or so of the top of the mug. Top mug off with orange juice. Needs to be real OJ though. That sunny delight crap just blends with the beer, while real OJ floats. Lift glass to mouth and drink as fast as possible, which is going to be even faster than you think you can drink. The OJ hits your taste buds first, and everyone knows how easy it is to slam OJ... Your tongue doesn't figure out that there is anything else there until the shot gets there, which is still good. Be sure to catch the shot glass in your mouth, adn guard your teeth, shotglasses against eye teeth are painfull if not caught right... It's your life, live it! I thought this would be the typical rant post, and for the most part it was, but... Mmmm, no. In fact, the look on my childrens faces and the gleam in their eyes on Christmas morning even makes up for the shiity years I've had, much less months or weeks. I really hope this isn't how you really feel, or I feel sorry for your kids. Oh, we will, and I really hope that in the end you do too. And while you're at it, light a birthday candle too, ok?
