  1. Exactly Jeanne. Airlocks are a wonderful invention, but they shouldn't be used as a substitute for common sense. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  2. Brian's design is awsome, that's for sure! Just try and remember one little thing. If the turbulence is bad enough to make you not want to fly a non-airlocked canopy on a particular day, DO NOT JUMP AN AIRLOCK EITHER! Turbulance and rotors can fold up a Sam/Jedei/Vengence/Lotus just as easily as a Sabre or a Nova, given the right (wrong?) conditions. The airlocks are great for when you encounter unexpected turbulence. If you are looking at airlocks thinking flying them will increase the amount of conditions you can fly in, you are buying for the wrong reason. That said, you're gonna love 'em! 5. 1st off, welcome to dropzone.com, Fleahop. To those doubters, yes, he's for real. If you want something done with the FAA, Flea here is your best, if not only, bet. Man I would love to see Fat Annie come back this year, but i just don't see it happening. Sitting in that door from 1200 feet to altitude completing "in flight repairs" was pretty damn cold, but I tell ya, it was the best seat in the house. (Not to mention the satisfaction I felt, keeping her from trying to tear herself apart from the inside out...) We need to remember more duct tape next time though... If she comes back, I look forward to jumpmastering more loads. All my directed loads landed on the airport. Of course, the Jet, and any other jets that you can get.... 727.... A blimp would be a cool re-addition for a year, though I bet the Air Bosses wouldn't be too thrilled about it. Family Channel flashbacks... How about an Antonov 28, a Turbine C-47, a Dornier G92, an Islander, a Nomad, a TurboLet 410, or even a Beaver? These may not be "Specialty" planes to our visitors from overseas, but that's because that's where they are from! Regular jump aircraft from over in, say, Britian and Norway are specialties to us. 16. I can't say it's personal success, but it's how i now feel: My measure of success for myself is my financial freedom. No, not that I'm rich, or even have alot of money in the bank (I don't, not even close, in fact, it's almost empty again.) I still fee a sense of freedom though, because for really the first time in my life, I don't dread finding a bill in the mailbox. It used to be that I didn't even open the gas bill in the winter. I didn't have the $$$ to pay it, and they couldn't shut me off 'till spring, so I let it slide until they shut me off, then took all summer to pay off the bill, only to do it all over again. (Heat is gas in my house. All else is electric.) I'm finally to the point now that I open a bill as soon as I get it, write out a check and mail it (or go on-line and pay it off) right away, same day. In that I'm no longer worrying about how to pay the next bill AND be able to feed my family, I feel that my personal success is at an all time high.
  17. I got this far (see attached), and froze. Mmmmm. Noice. Very Noice. I save that pic, so if was to ever see her in person, I could fumble over the "hellos" and stutter and stammer for an hour or so...

felating your car, nice Once a troll... At the very least, a troll needs to be able to spell. In the absence of good spelling and grammar, a troll post is a total waste of the time it takes to read it. rl Thanks Rhonda. After coming home from work, thinking about 24 hours earlier, this post made me smile, and chuckle a little. I can sleep now.

I live in central WI. We have been inventing new reason to hunt more. We have a bow season that lasts from early September to new years. We have a gun season, a muzzle loader season, a T-zone hunt that is doe only to thin the heard. We have a CWD management hunt with no limit. I hunt. I have a freezer full of venison, and it's damn good. The more we kill, the more are there! This deer was hit in a rural area. Nothing else around for miles, yet the fucker chose to beat me to that point in the road. I never saw it coming. I had just enough time to hit the brakes hard enough to make the nose of my car dive (not actually slow down) and scoop the deer off the hood and up and over the car. I'm lucky to be here at 65 mph. Had the nose not dived I probably would have blew the airbags... And what's worse? The kill was so messy, I couldn't salvage any of the meat. It's your life, live it!
