    It's like the "Weekend to End Breast Cancer" walk they do up here. Everyone that wants to walk agrees to raise the minimum amount (or set a goal for any amount above that). It's not that the $1000 she's already raised won't go towards the charity, it's that she's agreed to raise the $2,000 in order to participate in the walk.     Winter...we'll likely still be going at it in June! (I think the season and playoffs are too long) I don't know ... I actually loved watching the playoffs outside on my deck with the bbq going and the hot tub turned down to a balmy 30o!! I could do that again this year!

    As a former Colorado Avalanche season ticket holder, the current team and the team I used to go watch do not resemble each other at all (except for the uniforms). It will be interesting to see how the Denver fans react now that their team isn't as good as it used to be. If they are like Broncos fans, then the Avs will be fine even in tough times. But if they only support a winning team, well then the Avs will be in trouble. Time will tell... The Oilers went through rebuilding too a few years back. Almost lost them completely. Luckily the city, and some local business men stepped up to the plate to keep them here. Time will tell. GO HABS??? Are you in cahoots with Remi??? He's not a mod anymore. You can stop the brown-nosing now ... Got some pics at work from Feisty in CO today ... she said in some places in her back yard the snow drifts are about 4' deep.
