Hmmmm..Buffalo was very close to going to the Cup Finals last year. I think they'll have a good team again this year....so far they are 5-0...not a bad start! And, they'd have beaten Edmonton handily last year...and you know it PERHAPS they beat Edmonton LAST year but who got to the Cup final LAST year?

Is there a way you can get a copy of the cancelled cheque, front and back, from your Credit Union? That may show "who" cashed the cheque (ie: what department). We have this happen all the time at work (University of Alberta). Cheques get sent to the "UofA" and end up at the wrong department. We just found out that a client of ours had the cheque they sent to OUR department cashed by another department. We only found that out WHO cashed it by having them send us a copy of the cancelled cheque. It may be worth a shot. Good luck!

To be honest, I don't think even having it right after LP will affect your attendance because LP draws mostly Western Canadians vs "Eastern" Canadians and I think the draw for you will be Manitoba and everyone east. You're a LONG WAY (geographically) from those of us in Alberta and BC. Good luck with your event. Looks like you're trying to accommodate the events closest to you (in geography and date), as well as trying to accommodate the sometimes "lovely" weather Canada is known for!
