  1. i do not know all about banking and finance. I know enough to see your lack of understanding of the topic, Per Weekender. The topic is ending the institution of marriage.
  2. Attorneys for MD and VA sniper case got 20 million. Malvo got life. Mohammad got death. 20 million for a few years work is low pay? Where do I sign up?
  3. States need to put time limits on appeals and caps on attorney's pay. Then it might be cheaper to do away with these nutjobs as they really deserve death. This guy planned this thing for months. It's the liberals who have turned life into the least expensive route.

  5. This is all pretty easy to predict. When they vanquished the toxic debt created by the ponzi of selling CDS's you knew the economy was fake. It's just a shell game, yet the ones who own it are the ones moving the shells.
  6. Where do you get your financial information? Finance and banking is a quite broad area. This sentence and your comments on other threads with mention of entities such as “stock companies” leaves me scratching my head; I can’t understand what you’re talking about. The concept of the US 401K plans does put individuals more in control – it would be a useful addition for other countries to incorporate. You’re angry and wish America could go back to 1955; we get that. We just ask that your rants are phrased so as to be comprehensible. You can read about it here. Since corporations couldn't hold the money someone else had to. And what industry might that be be? Wall Street/ corporate America. Allocate money from a persons pay check to buy stock from the very firm they worked if they wanted, is , well pretty self serving. And who lobbied the IRS to adopt the plan? Stock firms/ public firms and are tied to wall street. Mom and pop sell no stock and compete with wall street titans, the reason wall street is anxious to end all small business in this country and their doing a pretty good job of that. Just walk down Kst in Georgtown DC and you'll know exaclty what I'm talking about. No bistros left, Starbucks, Gap stock firm have infiltrated pushing the little guys out. This is about marriage, not about gov't backed retirment plans. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/401%28k%29#History you do not have to buy stocks with your 401k. it is a vehicle for you to save money without paying normal income tax on it. it is not a stock fund and was not created for the purchase of stocks. this was all explained to you on your last 401k thread. im only posting this so people dont get confused by your lack of understanding. Banks love small companies. HP started in a shed, google in a college dorm or shortly after. Small companies are the next big companies and banks stumble over each other trying to find the next big thing. small successful companies are lavished with attention from banks hoping to gain their business. you are clueless about finance as evidenced by all your post. Bond funds are a part of 401. Everyone knows that but a large percentage of money in 401's is invested in stocks or mutual funds. Of course you know all about banking and finance. Perhaps you could tell us why most all the banks are paying huge fines for fraud dealings?
  7. I have 15 docs as friends. I go shooting with several of them at least once per week and and to hear them talk about medicine, the public needs to worry. Some are getting out before retirement! Many are not taking new medicare patients and in some cases telling patients they won't see them any more. We're going back to the days of mustard packs and salt water. Medicine is heading towards corporate stock firm run organizations much like the medical equipment industry is now, the private doc out of biz. Wall street wants all the docs to work for them. This is all about money and within 10 years or less. Wall Street will own all commerce.
  8. Let's also not forget they were given those loan guarantees to manufacture cars in Finland. Obama didn't even want to run. He was reluctant. But the influence of the Chicago crime bosses was just too great. Guess who is profiting now: the crime bosses.
  9. The original article states clearly that the initial cause for concern for the parents was when college police told them he was a possible danger to himself or others. These college police have to bear some of the blame. Just as the college in the aurora shooter should bear some - the college psychiatrist was aware of problems there, too. Yep, their going after the wrong thing: the gun when they need eyes on the person. But it's pretty typcially that liberals don't want mentally ill, perps, criminals etc., encumbered in any way. Instead they want to encumber law abiding citizens and tax them to death. They end paying for all the BS that is going on.

RE: ooops for got the "n" as in MEN,. Although pretty funny, lets not make assumptions based on typo's! I'm seeing propagation of the pink equal sign like crazy. I suspect hardly anyone knew about this until this week. And as usual it's a money thing.... you go to HRC website and you don't even get an html page showing typewritten copy about the organization. What you're served is a pop up that says, contribute with the $75 dollar box already filled out.

Tell ya what, instead of wasting my time any more, I'll just take the low road here and now. Suck my dick. Is that confusing to you? So lesbians and gays do party together enough so that you know all about gay me. . Also your logo, the non pink one is not in any example displayed in any of the links. So that must mean the organization you referred to is so underground or simple overlooked to be listed. So how did the logo end up all over the place. And why so much confusion in the gay community about an image for representation.
  12. My doc friends tell me they've quit taking medicare patients: gov't doesn't pay them enough plus the patients don't show up or do what they're told to do.
  13. Loughners parents knew their kid was out of it. They witness him talking to himself as if there were two persons there. They needed to get the guy in treatment, and if he refused go to court to have him put away. They didn't do that and look what happened. Parents, teachers, citizens need be more viligant. This has nothing to do with gun control but community policing doing its job to ensure public safety.
  14. The feds gave them 529 million and they haven't built one car since July. I guess the owner of the firm voted for Obama. I wonder what his next gig will be once the firm is gone. Maybe helping to finance Hillary's campaign. And this guy will most likely fund speaking engagements for Obama once Obama is out of there.
  15. yes to the rest, but this part I felt the same way. If you want to adopt, the agency inspects the home, does some checks and if the home looks good - then they can adopt (single, married, group, whatever). the environment and the stability that actually DEMONSTRATED is a lot more important than some bias based on pre-conceptions. (here's a service where I'm all for background checks too - ) IVF comment - .frankly, I don't care if you are a fertile traditional couple either, I'd prefer the same for them too. (want a kid - naturally, IVF or adoption - prove you have a good and stable home) ^ ---that comment steams up people - it's on purpose (WHAT?!! you can't place restrictions on a fertile married straight couple...) See, here's the issue - if you object to a couple having any requirement/restrictions to have a kid......then honestly you have to object to a different level of restrictions for adoption, or IVF as well. So inspect away for EVERYONE, or allow it unrestricted for EVERYONE. (This isn't gay v straight, it's also for singles, group homes, etc etc etc....) Group can adopt? What makes you think the group would tell the agency they are satin worshipers. Come on guys.. get a grip. Only two people can have a baby and the further away you stray from the natural parents raising the child they more fucked up it gets.

Is 35 years ago long enough ago for ya? Yeah, that's still around. It was adapted from the triangle badges that gay prisoners in Nazi camps were forced to wear and is displayed now as a symbol of gay pride. It's not "new" and it has not been redesigned. It's been the logo of the Human Rights Campaign for 18 years, just like I said. I've had one on every vehicle I've owned for just about as long. http://preview.hrc.org/about_us/13838.htm Again, nope. There's no "new" pink one. HRC simply asked supporters to adopt a red-tinted version of the logo for a period around the time that SCOTUS was hearing the Prop8 and DOMA arguments. Kinda like when a a bunch of websites darkened or blacked out their banners in protest of SOPA and then went back to status quo later. http://www.hrc.org/StandForMarriage Look guy, as I said... I've been a living, breathing, and occasionally bleeding, card carrying queer for 35 years. My experience in the gay community is not limited to once having supervised a few dozen snarky gay hairdressers. You're not an expert on gayness. Let's not get all riled up now. Very true, managing a 100 gay men at work certainly doesn't give one near the experience with the gay community as someone who is gay. So what is there to know outside of the work environment where most of the lounge chatter that I was privi to included talk about the orgy parties, baths, an.d pain associated with any activity at such orgies. And if you are a lesbian, what experience have you had with gay men. Outside of demonstrations I didn't think the parties colluded.
  18. I'm all for getting the government out of the retirement fund business, myself. Let me chose my own fund and what happens to my investments after I die. That was wall streets doing: 401's, deferred taxes etc so they'd sell more stocks. Wall street owning the US gov't is another topic.
  19. and this is now antiquated - and showing favored benefits over other groups (including singles) should be deleted Survivor SS bennies - that's the big one isn't it? I'd think that any two (or more consenting) people can enter into a contract. And that survivor benefits could be very specifically defined by the original intent: did the 'partner' stay at home for a minimum number of years to raise kids, care for the home, etc etc etc. You'd have to show a 'lifetime dependence' set of criteria on the other spouse to qualify. Else you are just like any other individual citizen. Much could be specificied much like performance is in commercial contracts. If no performance then there's a breech.
  20. Why do you hate trisexuals? Edit: 2 humans only
  21. So... you'd eliminate Social Security survivor benefits? People are hanging on terms. Marriage. Just eliminate marriage from the conversation and replace that with something else unique to identifying it as a contract with special gov't treatment. Nothing really changes except for names of documents. Then apply the equality treatment to that contract that everyone is seeking regarding benefits and survivorship etc. There will be a space there were people could call their union anything they wanted: married, item, joined etc. But the contract would have unique identifier. Much like: Will, Deed etc.
  22. Church is not included and only as requested. There is no preacher where contracts will be recorded and held until dissolution of the contract much like the way corporate charters are done. Of course there would be dissolution hearing to determine outcomes, money, child support etc.
  23. Adoption is fine. But the idea to procreate via science/ technology would be barred. Also, everyone gets the same tax treatment: contractee's and singles without contracts.
  24. The debate is about marriage and the benefits surrounding marriage. There is a marriage license and state laws surrounding that license. So then just eliminate the license and come with a specific name to a contract that relates to that contract?
