When there are so many kids needing to be adopted why do you want to exclude a whole set of willing and capable couples? Your subject matter title is misleading and and so are quotes in the article. It's a tad early to make assumptions that the victim was targeted because of who he was or any position he had on guns.

State conservation funding. Hunters, fishermen who buy hunting and fishing equipment and buy licenses are mostly responsible for the funding of most state departments of natural resources. It's over a billion per year nationwide. There's an 11% tax just on buying arrows to help fund natural resources and conservation. So when there is talk to take away hunting and sporting equipment that drives up costs of that equipment, or makes equipment unavailable, people will cut back on buying equipment or leave the sport all together. I'm hearing this now from people who are having a hard time finding ammo. They'll just give it up. And if this is not enough, some state legislatures have raided dept of natural resources money, for general funds. I don't know how you'd measure it now as there's simply not enough kids raised by homosexuals.
