We aren't the ones proposing passing laws banning people from getting married. How are we the bullies? I am proposing removing the right to vote, own property, drive, and work from women. The home was meant to be a man and a woman with the woman staying home to clean and cook for the man. That could only be considered bullying if your view is as well.

that's a great question - other than it's not 'rights', it's 'benefits' - speech, worship, bearing arms, bearing witness (bearing witness is point of discussion) applies to all individuals all individuals are supposed to have the same rights "couples" shouldn't have special gov benefits... INDIVIDUALS should. why do hetereosexual 'couples' get to have special benefits that singles don't? giving special benefits for anybody just because of how they associate (other than becoming a citizen) - is unfair it's very insightful how people talk about entitlements and benefits.....yet use the words "rights" I guess deciding what kind of medical care to choose for your loved one is an entitlement, not a right. Being able to get time off from work to care for your significant other as provided by law is an entitlement, not a right. I agree, these entitlements should apply only to heterosexual couples. Or are you saying that those entitlements that heterosexual couples enjoy should be abolished to place them on the same level as everyone else?

Ill support your amendment if you support mine. Just ETA: I believe all people are created equal under God. I have a real hard time believing the Jesus I was taught about would come down and hate on some people for loving each other. I find it much more in line with what I learned that he would be disgusted with bigotry and denying people civil rights because of who they love. Thats my Jesus. I don't think he has any place in legislature, but I don't think he would be as bigoted towards gays as you make him out to be. AFAIK Jesus didn't write the bible. It was written by close minded people who wanted to spread THEIR interpretations of things. Before you go citing it too much you might go read what it says about women, and keeping slaves.

Whoosh....

I do in theory support an amendment that states women can't vote or own property. It has to do mostly with my religious views (that I want to press onto others) and my upbringing by women hating close minded people. But its ok we disagree on this (I bet).

I would for sure. That has to be one of the funniest things Ive read as far as how to pick gay people out of a crowd. Hahaha.

Made me lol as well. Not sure if this link will work, but something I saw floating around FB on the same topic. I'd bet this dude didn't vote for Romney https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151358994632734&set=pb.24470472733.-2207520000.1363453763&type=3&theater

Ive got a breville. Not the cheapest but it does a fantastic job. You can juice a table full of goodies in no time. start with more fruit than veggies and work into adding more veggies as your taste develops. Juicing rocks. ETA: the breville takes about 5 min to clean back to like new.

The McDonalds worker has the same oportunity So you are right, he didnt work hard enough How did the McDonalds worker have the same opportunity to be born into wealth as lets say Paris Hilton? In the sense that I had the same opportunity to be King of England as Prince Charles? Nope did not say that But they have the same oportunity to suceed Do those you list have a leg up? Sure. Nothing will change that. But sitting on your ass everday after working at Mickey D's will get you nothing more than the same job to back to tomorrow As far as the born into comment? Your green side is showing Lol. " Do those you list have a leg up? Sure. Nothing will change that. " Exactly! They have better opportunity. That's what a LEG UP is. The only green side I have isn't the one you are referring to I don't think.....

It's not as simple of an issue as you are making it out to be. All you are doing is trying to find a way to justify stealing money from the rich to give to the poor. It's stealing no matter how you justify it. The rich still pay the majority of the income tax revenue. The very poor don't pay any income tax at all. Which would be someone living off of minimum wage like a McDonalds worker. You are just making an emotional argument for penalizing rich people for being rich. You are misunderstanding me I think. Im not advocating taking their money away. Im pointing out the fact is the mcdonalds worker (like a LOT of working class americans) will not have the means to leave their children with much. This perpetuates the cycle of working paycheck to paycheck into the next generation of working class. This is MUCH different than the generational wealth that makes up a pretty high portion of the richest people in America. They don't have to worry about WORKING, since their great granddad did that for them, and the money he made produces more money magically through the wonders of capitalism. I have no problem with the system as it (functions?) now, I just see some serious holes with, "They worked for it, they just wanted it more than the McDonalds guy".

Yep I agree its not nice to steal from them. The McDonalds worker will be leaving his kids a lot less money than the Heinz family though. I guess the McDonalds guy just didn't try hard enough to start a ketchup business and break into the global economy in 2013. So fuck em. Tax him harder than the Heinz's, they worked for their money!
-
I was with you until the second half. "If you didn't work for it then you don't deserve it." There are PLENTY of extremely rich people who didn't and don't WORK for their money. They inherited it from someone who worked for it back in the day, and now the money works for them. Still agree its not nice to steal it from them. But its not really fair to compare dude working at McDonalds, to the heinz kids, or the hilton kids, or the mars kids, etc etc etc etc.

Global warming is epic, long-term study says

I just know better than to play with an educated cherry picker. Now you, I don't mind. -

You must be a good lawyer :]. In my hood we call that cherry picking. "Surface temperature reconstructions of the past 1500 years suggest that recent warming is unprecedented in that time." You left the 2nd sentence off where they say because of that suggestion they went back and modeled 11,300 years. But shoot me a PM with your areas of practice, I might need someone with your tongue -

http://www.sciencemag.org/content/339/6124/1198.full "Surface temperature reconstructions of the past 1500 years suggest that recent warming is unprecedented in that time. Here we provide a broader perspective by reconstructing regional and global temperature anomalies for the past 11,300 years from 73 globally distributed records. Early Holocene (10,000 to 5000 years ago) warmth is followed by ~0.7°C cooling through the middle to late Holocene ( -
Global warming is epic, long-term study says
Bignugget replied to skinnay's topic in Speakers Corner
Not really accurate. "Global warming has propelled Earth's climate from one of its coldest decades since the last ice age, to one of its hottest in just one century. A heat spike like this has never happened before, at least not in the last 11,300 years (that we studied)" This says we went from some of the coldest decades since the last ice age in the early 1900s Now we are in some of the warmest decades since the last ice age. A rapid spike like this was only observed once in this 11,300 year study. That was as far back as they felt they could reliably go with the data available. The problem is everyone seems to agree the earth should be COOLING, not warming, due to its position in the solar system right now. -
Im confused I thought Kallend was a supporter of global warming.... that link doesn't oppose that view, it supports it.

http://edition.cnn.com/2013/03/08/world/world-climate-change Fun new study. "If not for man-made influences, the Earth would be in a very cold phase right now and getting even colder, according the joint study by Oregon State University and Harvard University. Marcott was the lead author of the report on its results." "The scientists did the study to put the global temperature trends into a long-range perspective, Marcott said. Critics of climate change research, which has generally covered the last 1,500 to 2,000 years, have complained that it has been too short-sighted. They argue that the shorter studies have not taken into account that the warming Earth is seeing today could have happened before naturally -- thousands of years ago. These shorter studies have been based on methods that are very different from the Harvard-OSU research, but in the 2,000 years that they overlap, the results have been basically the same."

Yea the rest was trying to learn to freefly. Awesome about May, I am doing another 3 hours myself so I might see you there! As far as Austin's comment....my buddy suggested the music, I thought it fit perfectly!

I recently did 3 hours down in Austin. Spent a session or 2 per 15 working on belly flying. So this is about 30 min of total belly at this point. 17 skydives, just for reference Here is one of the best. Artard has inspired me to learn to edit. I have another camp scheduled in May by then I hope to be able to edit a compilation of progress. Anyways, enjoy. I know I did (flying, not editing that shit sucks!) ETA my linking skills join the list of skills that suck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egvq-yYetWk&feature=youtu.be

All those years playing World of Warcraft or Call of Duty can finally pay off, huh? I knew that shit was gonna come in handy. Im sending this post to my mom.

Looking really nice man, I enjoyed watching the first and the new session. Keep it up! I had my first tunnel exp. and I am hooked on it as hard as skydiving. I signed up for the next camp immediately. Such a nice learning environment. I hope my belly looks that clean next time!
