The story the winner tells doesn't do much for me when the loser isn't there to tell their side. Sorry. The 4 minutes between Zimmerman hanging up and Martin dying were in your opinion spent with Zimmerman passively waiting inside his truck for the police. I don't think the evidence showed Zimmerman was anything close to passive in the situation.

On the left you will see Martin coming past Zimmermans truck, circling around and attacking Zimmerman (who does not pursue Martin) and Martin subsequently dying. You stop your truck. Then I decide, fuck that, I am no pussy, and circle back to your truck. You have gotten out presumably to wait for police, since you weren't chasing me. I run from behind the bushes and attack you like a ninja. I kungfu on you a little bit, and then run away again in between some houses. You catch me (even though you are fat?) and we wrestle. I get on top of you, so you have no choice but to shoot me with the gun you had all along. Well shit, now that I typed it....it makes perfect sense.

I am sure you guys can point out where he gave up chasing the kid down. If I understand you guys correctly....You are saying Martin ran away from Zimmerman, circles around after Zimmerman hangs up with 911. Attacks Zimmerman....(there is no evidence of a fight at his truck as far as I know)....and then runs away AGAIN and is caught between the houses where he is ultimately killed in self defense by Zimmerman? Martin RAN AWAY, Zimmerman followed him (chased him down, unless you know another way to catch someone who is running), was the much larger of the two subjects, AND had a gun. And its UNLIKELY that he was the one being aggressive? Right. How does that even make sense to you? You are walking down the street eating some candy....you spot some guy eyeballing you. You walk up a bit closer and he freaks you out (maybe you see a GUN on him). You turn and run away hoping to be safely home eating candy. He catches you. And......you are the aggressor? You and the jury must drink the same koolaid. Thats the HUGE hole in "Stand your ground" defense for Zimmerman. MARTIN was the one standing his ground. NOT RUNNING anymore (who knows why he couldnt escape and save his own life) Zimmerman didnt STAND HIS GROUND in defense, he CHASED someone in OFFENSE.... I sure hope some crazy fuckin asshole with a gun doesn't chase me down and kill me and claim I started it.

The evidence showed that Martin was the attacker. Are we talking about the same case? I missed that evidence. Can you expand on that? I heard testimony both ways on who the voice yelling for help was... Where was the evidence that showed Martin attacked Zimmerman (after running away and being chased down by Zimmerman.....)? IMO you come running me down after I have tried to get away, THAT is the first act of aggression. From then on I am defending myself. I welcome the evidence that showed Martin was the one who initiated contact body to body though. I see a young kid much less mature and physically capable as Zimmerman, who was chased down by an armed older man, and killed....I am 29 years old...I would never chase a 17 year old kid down and assault/murder him....much less while being on the phone with 911.....after witnessing NOTHING other than a kid walking down the street. I know you were military, you guys shoot first ask questions later. I am a peaceful cat, I ask questions, and then RUN AWAY like Martin did, and pray someone all militant like Zimmerman doesn't chase me down and kill me. Ultimately here it seems it boils down to the old schoolyard "Who threw the first punch" I would argue chasing someone down in an aggressive manner is the first punch, but I welcome opposing views that it must be an actual assault...I just saw no evidence presented of who threw the first punch....other than self serving statements of the winner.. Post that evidence up.

I don't know if it's camera angle or what but for that entire jump you look lopsided for some reason I just can't put my finger on. Like you're bent to the right somehow. A good example is at the :39 second mark, it looks like your right leg is fully extended and off at an angle and your left leg is in the arch position I'd expect. Weird. It might be how your rig is riding on you. I kinda wish they'd let you go around once so I could see from that angle. That probably wouldn't have been very safe, though.If you have the same problem in the tunnel, see if you can get the tunnel instructor to help you do some 360s so you can see your body position from all angles. Is the rig comfortable and the leg straps tightened to the same length on both sides? Does it flop around on your back at all? I'm guessing that if it's body position, your wind tunnel instructor will spot the problem and correct it quickly. I'm also curious if you'll have the same problem in there with so many landmarks you can stay relative to. Agreed, you look twisted in the torso. Think long straight spine, that helped me when I started. I had the same issue, built in instability caused by poor body position. You are torqued to the side with your spine, and it looks like TRYING to figure it out with the other parts of your body. The only thing that helped me was (tunnel) and learning to relax and keep a square torso, fly your limbs, not your torso. It looks like you even do some toe taps at one point (maybe the AFFi's suggested your legs could be uneven causing a spin?) and toe taps could help to stay aware of that....but it really looks more to me like your torso is the issue..... Think long and straight! Good luck! (Disclaimer: A license....80 jumps and 6 hours in the tunnel since my start in January so take it for what its worth....im no oldschool 10k jumper)

Perhaps irrelevant and useless, so take it for what it is... I recently was down at iFly Austin and they use a paperless setup to sign in and waiver. Granted the waiver is (probably) different....I never read anything, so who knows..... But they have like 4 LCDs setup on wall mounts, seems to keep it flowing pretty well. Might be a place to look at for ideas on volume etc...you type in your bio, check the waiver boxes and sign with your finger digitally....hope that helps a bit.

Yep, its always loose.....Grimmie gave me a couple tips to try next time I pack to maybe keep it tighter and help the tuck tabs seat better. I will see if that helps the covers stay on. "Normally" the right side comes loose and refuses to seat properly once I put the rig on. I have resigned myself to staying on my belly....or at least at belly speeds....

It's an original Talon, with tuck tabs. The tuck tabs work pretty well (not on me) but for some reason the way the rig fits on my body, the tuck tab wont stay closed for shit. I am fully aware it wants to pop open, and also fully aware its not freefly friendly. All the same I wanted to do a little barrel roll. The picture just seemed wild enough to post. For grimmie: It could very well be packing error I suppose...I have only 80 jumps. Quite often it will be popping loose in the plane, or even just during gear up etc. Many jumpers, including several riggers have tried to fix it up, without success. I would welcome any packing tips you might have to help it seat better.

A lot of us keep up with each other on FB and there are some fun skydiving groups on it. Although some of us just use FB to photobomb our friends with pictures of our kids. I'd rather see pictures of kids and pets than the mindless political drivel (left and right) that some people post on a daily basis. About FB in that regard is the mindless reposting of material from years ago which may have been debunked, but continues to circulate. AND there's simply no slowing it down other than defriending somebody, which is fine if it's a cousin twice removed, but nearly impossible if it's people you actually do still kinda wanna stay in touch with. Simply silly. They have pretty decent features these days. You can block friends news feeds so you don't constantly see their posting of whatever crap it is, but still stay in contact with them. Same thing with compromising photos. If you don't want them up don't post them. Or better yet, don't TAKE them.
