Seems I'm a little late with this, but......Morning all. I don't get out of bed until after 09:00 and don't start 'work' until 10:00 (I love Flexitime), so I admire you lot for having the ability and dedication to get up as early as you do. One of the reasons I like this forum so much is because of it's international flavour. You would lose too much and gain too little (if anything) by regionalising it. DZ.com is a great site with a great forum. Don't change a thing buddy.

For me, revenge is good as long as it can be achieved in a relatively short amount of time. In this office we all have our own sections defined by 5ft screens. Trouble is I'm smack bang in the middle of the office where everyone walks past, so I've had to develop the following techniques so as not to be found out. My browser window is only tall enough to read two lines at a time and is positioned at the top. The rest of the screen is taken up by something work related that looks important. I usually type large posts in Notepad first. It's easier to disguise than the aforementioned browser window. I always have my thumb and finger poised on the ALT-TAB when reading posts, especially when that small browser window has a picture of Erno, Kerry, or Muttley in it. (Pictures of Fins, cute babes and cartoon dogs aren't easy to explain away to people. ) If anyone has any more tips, let me know. Gerb I stir feelings in others they themselves don't understand. I only hope that your attitude is just a front used in your posts, and if it isn't that it changes before you decide to do your first jump. If not, that attitude is liable to kill yourself or someone else who happens to be jumping with you. And you know what ? I'm afraid it could be me, or any other of my companions on this site. These are the situations that play on my mind and sneak into my thoughts when I visualize skydiving my remaining AFF levels. I'd like to hear your opinions on the validity of them and if I'm thinking complete bollocks. Getting into position in the doorway and accidentally falling/slipping out of the aircraft before myself or the JM's are ready. Having a bag lock malfunction, cutting away, immediately deploying the reserve and having that bag drop onto the inflated canopy. After a reasonable freefall, getting unstable at the crucial pull height. Getting cramp in the aircraft, or even worse in freefall (A regular occurance when I'm lounging in front of the TV), especially in the cold air of 12k.
