No need to apologise for a 'long' post that makes good reading on these forums. I can't imagine forgetting to bring the arm over when I reach to pull because it was one of the first manouveurs I was taught. For me it would be like going to the toilet and forgeting to drop my pants. I'm sure I'll do something similarly dumb in the jumps to come though, and when I do I'll post it on these forums to allow you to take the preverbial out of me.

Hope everything goes OK for you both. True story : I tried to do that on three seperate occasions. Each time the Nurses said that they couldn't get a full pint out of me (insert joke here) within the alloted time frame that you are given. Because they can only use full units of blood it means that they can't use what they get from me, so I had to quit trying. Pity. I used to love the free tea and biscuits. I was going to suggest that you let the chicken fly to me before it's killed, only there are a couple of flaws to that idea. 1. A Chicken can't fly that far. 2. If it could, it would probably get hungry on it's journey and would eat my side order of fries. 3. If it was able to make it, it probably wouldn't have understood your directions...... 4. ...and I doubt it has the ability to read maps either. 5. Nice one. I admire the way you responded. You kept your calm and you didn't shout back. I wish I was like that. I had a tendency to give as good as I got with my previous boss. If she unjustly criitiqued me in some way (which happened a lot, and not just with me) then I usually responded with a subtle insult, or cited a previous incident where she did something wrong. Fortunately I don't have to worry about her anymore because, following the grievance I filed against her, she's gone. I hope other people never have to go through one of those.
