How about the Action Man helicopter that looked like the one they used in M.A.S.H. It had a button on it that you pressed constantly to turn the rotors. Can't remember what they were called, but they were bomb shaped, made of plastic with a metal contraption on the nose. You used to cut off the paper caps that you used in cap-guns, put it in the metal bit and throw the bomb as high up in the air as you could. When it hit the floor of course it would bang. I had a massive collection of Transformers, boxes and all. Like a young pubescent idiot though, I got rid of most of them in a car boot sale for cheap change. Have you seen how much boxed originals are worth these days ? I could have funded my entire AFF and still had change left for some jump tickets if I kept them all and sold them off in auction today. Ah well, at least Dreamwave Productions have ressurected them in a new comic book. Can you say 'nostalgic' ?

...... I used to grab 6 comic book annuals of my shelf, lay then on the carpet tiles in my bedroom in an arrangement that resembled a mini snooker table. The spines of these annuals acted as the cusions. I used the larger type marbles for the pool balls and the wooden stick off a dish-mop as the cue. Your turn. When I was younger................. I've always wanted to try skydiving for as long as I can remember. I always thought it looked so cool, but I also thought that it was one of those exclusive sports where you had to know somebody to get in to it. That misperception married with the expense on the sport meant that I kept putting it off. When I was 28 I made a promise to myself that I would do it before I turned 30. I did my first jump 5 months before my 30th birthday. My only regret is that I didn't take up the sport when I was younger and had less financial responsibilities. Now I feel I don't have enough time left to get good at it. My sinister side also likes the look of horror and concern on my parents face when I told then the details of my jumps. My mother originally thought I was doing an S/L jump which was scary enough for her. When I showed what the first AFF jump was actually like she turned white. That's OK kiddo. Thanks for mentioning in the other thread that you like Mr Holland's Opus. I thought I was the only one who thought that was good. Now I am no longer alone. Thanks to everyone who has responded here. I've just ordered the CD and it will be with me by the end of the week. I will also keep my ear out for music from Audioslave based on your recommendations. I can't stop playing Evanescence - Bring Me To Life at the moment which I recorded off MTV. Fantastic single but I was wondering if it was typical of the rest of the album. Does anyone have it and if so is it worth getting ? Secondly, the guest singer on that track is a guy who fronts a band called 12 Stones. Anyone have any of their music and if so can you give me a heads up as to what style of rock/metal they do and if the album is any good. Cheers. Medal of Honor is a great choice. Probably the best Single Player FPS I've played since Half Life. The Add-On that came later is quite good, but it could be argued that it's just a case of same shit, different landscape. Well worth getting this on EBay to save some bucks. Dude ! Can't believe you missed out Counter Strike. Now there's a game where you really do get 'killed'. No respawning like an omnipotent warrior in that game. You get careless, you miss your opportunity, you die. Then you just float and watch everyone else shoot each other like an etherial Beelzebub.......until the next round.
