Did anyone here awaken a latent sense of agoraphobia during their first jumps as a student ? Up to that point most of you probably spent your life not more than 5 feet off the ground. When you left that aircraft for the first time you were surrounded 360degrees vertically and horizontally with thousands of feet of nothing. A powerful experience for such a phobia to surface. Kim ! Don't do it ! Take up gardening instead ! it's a lot safer and the bees won't be the only thing that will get a buzz out of it. You can't compare planting a seed to jumping out of an airplane. A skydive is over in about 4 minutes if you include the canopy ride. Watching a flower grow lasts for years. Don't waste your time in such a trivial pursuit as skydiving. stay on the ground and expand nature. You'll be a lot more satisfied with your life if you do.
