1) Get a Flight Sim (MS Century of Flight 2004 Recommended). 2) Fly around on it for a week or so. 3) Read all the manuals, especially the ones that detail ATC procedures, landing patterns and VOR Navigaton. 4) Walk up to your pilot of choice, tell him what you've done and say "I'm a pilot just like you now." OK. I've asked my closest friends about this, now it's your turn to offer advice. Something strange has been going on lately. On average, my toilet would be lucky to see two floaters a year. I don't do them that often. But in the last fortnight it has been host to 5 (I repeat, FIVE) of them. Now I'm not talking about the kind of floaters that disappear on the second flush. I'm talking about the kind that still bob in the bowl after seven industrial type flushes. Even when you put loads of paper in to encourage it to go down it just defiantly fights against the tide to stay up. What the hell is going on here ? I haven't changed my diet in any way and I'm sure they can't be filled with buoyant gas because I expel enough of that during the day at my desk. So why the sudden onslaught of this phenomenon ? The floor is yours......

In answer to : 4. suggestions on things to do that no one would think of. Forget England for a day and drive the short 3 hour trip to Wales. We have better scenery, less crime, friendlier people and fresher air. Ok, so I admit we have worse hookers but I don't think you and your family would be interested in that. Visit Cardiff Bay for a contemporary coastal view, the Brecon Beacons for a countryside walk or go further west to The Gower Peninsula to combine the two.
