An ex called it Verne.... don't want to remember why. Otherwise it's just part of my anatomy. But a few months ago while partonizing a local bar. Kevin, a gentlman from a local group home, wandered in got a coke and some change from the bar. then headed over to the juke box. No real worries b/c he normally plays a couple decent songs and takes off after he finishes his pop. So a few songs go by kevin heads out the door... not two seconds later does "Won't you play with my ding-a-ling... my ding-a-ling..." start blasting from the speakers. At this point my brother and I nearly spit beer out our noses. I'll always remember the owners face... "what. uh.. he... kevin. I didn't know that was on there!!" Well the "slow" kid pulled a good one on the bar full of "normal" people. matt

Sorry for the confusion... I meant 70K/year, so it works out to close to $35/hr. matt

Dove - Go for it... I thought I was the only one tired of the TV life (although it's news not the graphics/production end). And don't let anybody tell you that you can't, because you can. matt P.S. Ever thought of being a Pharmacist or Pharmacologist.... my father, godfather and godmother are all pharmacists (two in hospitals and one in a retail pharmacy) and from the OT my dad has been seeing and what he says their in demand as well as that they start around $70...

newshooter12 replied to moodyskydiver's topic in The Bonfire
Moody - that's great... but the guy must not know that his head would be squished between two plates for a real one. Sounds like more pain then fun. -

Eggs sound a bit runny in freefall.... [now thinking of that old this is your brain commercial, but with a twist.] "this is your brain... this is your brain in freefall...." just off in space after a night of craziness at work. matt

Yeah... but the it's reasuring to know a male with multiples can be appreciated.

That's what I like to here.

Dove - It seems like you're the only one that believes in multiple orgasms.... but is that just for you or him? I've only found one woman ready for/expecting more than one per sitting. Such a shame. matt

Ladies - When the Buffalo Fire Department comes out with their new calendar each year should I get them to make it availible to you? They're usually selling it to raise $$ for charities.... matt

recharge batteries...professionally?
newshooter12 replied to skyboyblue's topic in Photography and Video
Skyboyblue - What kind of batteries are you using? Li? Nicad? NiMh? Who are they made by? Do you use them until the camera won't function any more before you recharge them? What kind of charger are you using? Slow, fast, trickle.... My chief photographer handed out some hybrid batteries (that were suppossed to be "virtually memoriless") about 8-12 months ago and in the last year nearly all of them had to be sent back to the manufacturer. Moral of the story all batteries have "a memory." ...... It just depends on how sensitive they are. Nicads tend to have the worst memories, but tend to have a gentle power curve -
Here's a link to the Nikon scanner that's a step up from Quade's.... It costs twice as much, but it has an "Auto Slide Feeder for unattended batch scanning of up to 50 slides (Optional accessory)" as well as "Roll Film adapter for scanning one uncut roll of 35mm film, up to 40 frames (Optional accessory)"

I'll have to try to find the specifics... but about 4-5 years ago at my college newspaper I ordered a Nikon Coolscan (can't remember the model I, II, or III) and in the "availible accessories" list there was a set up that would hold something like 25 slides at a time so they could be bulk processed. I never did order the accessory though because we only used the negs.... I'll see what I can find out. matt

It's something a good friend of mine would do.... he's parapyligic.... can't use his legs... wheelchair bound b/c of cancer complications (not good), but he's taking full advantage of it. He's picking up a South Park "Timmy" costume to roll around in his wheelchair with at some Halloween parties.... matt
