WRONG!!!! Bayerische Motoren Werke - bavarian motor works. The white and blue check represents the flag of Bavaria wraped in a wheel. BMW maufactured mainly cars from it's very beginnings with only a small division that made aircraft engines. There never was a propeller in its logo, sorry.... jraf Me Jungleman! I was clocked doing 132 mph in my 6,000 lbs heavy Land Rover Discovery II. Florida cops are very understanding. I had both my brothers in the car and told the State Trooper that I was showing the car off. I never realized that my aluminium charriot would go that fast. There is one statement that Karl Marx made that amongs the rest of his philosophical rumblings makes a lot of sense: "Religion is the opium of masses" How true it sounds today. Our global conflicts shifted from political to religious. Look at us coming back to the middle ages. Its the Muslims vs. Christians, Christians vs. Muslims, everybody vs. Jews (for some reason not obvious to me), the Jews vs. everybody (the reason for that escapes me too) and all this because the "believers" can't even understand what they preach and follow. Well if you really look at it: Jesus was a Jew Marry was Jewish too Joseph was a Jewish carpenter Paul was a Jewish tax collector and so on...they all where Jews, what did you expect? And they were a small religious sect...kind of like our Branch Dividians, we burned these by the way. Now here comes a dude called Jesus and tell you that poverty is a virtue and that he is God's son and that only his Father is the true Lord and all you believe in if false. Pretty ridiculous right? Then you have the same Jesus who claims to be King of the Jews while the Roman Emperor is keeping Pax Romana and the trade is good? So what happens? The Romans sentence him to death as a rebel against the Empire and the Jews renounce him as a leader of a religious sect. Same thing, presumably without all the gore would happen today. Take my personnal advice: Krupp&Sohne 16" naval gun. It is great for self defense as it usually comes with an armored turret that is permanently affixed to a main battle ship. Ron I know, but you will agree that said 100 jump skydiver has talked to everybody on the DZ, and I think you remember who he all spoke to. I was there I remember the conversations, I remember what everybody and their cousin told the dude (don't do it, don't do it, don't do it) I remember the jump, I remember the landing and I remember the consequences up real close. Honestly would regulation help here? First of all he jumped without medical insurance, so should we not have that regulated? Second he jumped against the advice of everybody he asked. I am not heartless (ok, maybe I am) I was at the hospital before, during and after the surgery and visiting him many times after. As I mentioned I just am calling for the enforcement of existing regulations before we create new ones. I listen. I listen a lot and with much attention. The point is I listen to those who have something to teach me. You will allow me to make the choice on my own as it is an important one. As far as I am concerned I don't see the proposed regulation as a valid solution, just a bunch of mumble jumble. I agree completely with Ron on this one - not every DZ is like ZHills.
