Well, I am hoping to get some more votes on this matter. As it stands, there is a lot of support for dropping it and talking about jumping more. What I am surprised on is how 10% have thought about leaving DZ.com. I guess that a fair amount of people like to come to DZ.com as a release and escape from the real world. Isn't that one of the reasons we all jump? To feel free from all the crap that everyone else is doing, and to share time with non-judgemental friends that accept you wholeheartledly because you are a fellow skydiver. There was a time when I had that same feeling here, but since the world has changed, its not the same. It's been so long since I heard someone say "Im going to downsize from a 170 to a 129, whaddaya think?" and we all razzed him. Those kinds of post seem to be a part of the past. I think that you know where I stand on this issue if you have read any of my posts on the matter, but this isn't just my opinion. I hope people can take into account the results from the poll before posting the same old rhetoric that everyone else has seen before, be it in support or in protest. I thank you for your replies and votes.

There is a lot of debates going on about war on this forum. Some members debate wisely, some, not so much. I have seen both sides voice there opinions and it seems like some members use this topic as a type of troll, just not a skydiving troll. Others bring a very informative discussion to the table, but eventually tempers get flaired. So, my question to you is, how do you feel about the current trend?

I have been searching for a cut away system that would be clean and effective in the event of an emergency. I have found a few that I would like to try with a older helmet that I have. I only have one concern with every design. What happens if you have to ditch this thing above preplanned pull alti? Whether you are in a freefly big way, or just a 2 way, there is a risk that the helmet that is under "canopy" could have a collision with another jumper in freefall. End result....bad shit. So what to do about this. I have thought about having the drogue pop out at 3000 AGL, but that would take some serious coin to create a system that would do that. I love the idea of a controlled descent for my precious helmet, but I dont think that I can risk the lives of others just to save it. Has anyone else had this same concern, and what ideas do you have for a preplanned deployment system?

Konradptr, Yes, I am that young. I am the youngest of Mike Mullins kids. As far as my experience, I am insulted to the idea that you think that I dont have enough jumps. Hey, I can even downwind landings when I want to, no matter what everyone says. Can you? Well, I guess well have to see the video to find out. As far as incriminating evidence, I was smart enough, even with as young as I am, to not put any of that content in my video. Hey everyone, I would like to share my first video made by Spinner Productions. This is my first project using Pinnacle Studio 7 and I would like some feedback on it. I have uploaded both Mpeg2 and .wmv files. They are on www.skydivingmovies.com in the freefly section. Wmv. loads quickly but the quality is not so good. If you could Dl the Mpeg2 format and go to bed and look at it in the morning, I think that you will get more of an idea of what I am looking at. Any information is appreciated. Spinner

Does anyone know of some new dz's out there that wouldn't be on the dz.com dropzone list ? There is a new one in Nevada just over the Arizona border called Mesquite. Had some friends go there and they had a great time. They fly a Caravan. Any others out there?
