called back today and got the same guy.......eric i think. he said it was the owner who answered last nite after they were closed who told me to call back today. he said he spoke to the owner and he told me to wait a week and if it dosent arrive they will ship it again. this time he didnt say anything about charging me twice. i still think they should have just reshipped immediately, but then who am i to say........i mean, im just the customer...... _______________________________ HK MP5SD.........silence is golden

I can't read it very well, but I'll take your word for it. Looks like it is option "2", they messed up. I would think if they are shown this, they would do whatever it takes to fix their error. I would think they should ship your order, UPS RED NEXT DAY, without charging your CC and refund the original $15.00 shipping charge. Oh ya, ditch the Molar strap. please dont ever deal with para-gear. this shit just chaps my ass......... ........i ordered a bunch of rigging tools on the 5th of this month. internet order, ups shipping. well, ive been waiting and just thought today, "gee, i havent gotten my order yet, its way overdue", and remembered the email i received on the 6th saying that if i got the email before 2 pm, it would be out that day if not, the next day, so supposedly it shipped on the 7th of november. so i called from work, and the guy i talked to said, oh, it went out airmail. i said, well, i didnt click on airmail, i clicked on ups, i never use airmail. he says the shipping is 15 bucks, and pretty much had the attitude like, oh well, too bad. i said, well, its not that bad, but i still dont have my order. he says check with the post office, so i say ok, ill do it when i get home. fast forward to 4pm.......i go to the post office and talk to the guy i know at the window.......he says, nope, nothing here, everything that came in went right out......... went home, called paragear back and talked to the same guy. told him what happened. he says, well, since u had it shipped us mail, we cant track it, so if u dont get it, youll have to wait 60 days b4 we can put in a claim. im like, whoa, youre saying im sol for 60 days then, and hes like, well, yeah pretty much. now, i say, you charged my card for the order and i have nothing........now i have to wait 60 days? he says well, we can reship it , but we have to charge your card a second time. i said, bull, no way i have nothing already, thats unacceptable. he says well, thats all we can do. i said what kind of customer service is that, thats not good business......first of all i said ups ground. i kept saying so what youre telling me is im screwed for 60 days, he keeps saying, "im not saying that, just wait a week, things usually get bunched up in the mail.......i said, dude, it shipped airmail on the 7th, it would have been here the next day. what if it dosent come in a week, im screwed for 60 days.....and it was a beat around the bush yeah yer screwed answer in not so many words and blaming it on the post office. im like, im not dealing with the post office, im dealing with you, i paid you yet i have nothing. thats shitty business practice. he was like "ok"...... i said thats it? just ok, you dont care? sorry , thats all we can do he says.... i have a good mind to just call amex and get them to pull the payment......i know amex will pull the payment immediately and charge them an extra 25 bucks for the transaction.........i may just do that. pisses me off, the dude just didnt give a shit what anyone thinks.....i told him id never shop with them and tell other people not to as well.......all i got was another "ok"........... shitty, shitty, shitty customer service.......... ive dealt with other companies, i mean hell,once i bought a camera, the company shipped it overnight, figured out it went to the wrong address, had no idea if they could even get the one they sent me back and still immediately shipped overnight another one to me....thats service..... never again.........para-gear sucks _______________________________ HK MP5SD.........silence is golden

People who get in to the "my sport is better than your sport" theme should relax and let others enjoy their thing. yep, they should....... opinions opinions....... i saw a couple posts earlier on another thread about how some people thought rock climbing or scuba were worthless compared to skydiving........2 totally different things.........scuba is a whole different world. peaceful and unbelievable. rock climbing can be more zenlike, or it can also be pushing yourself to your limits like when youre 35 feet over your last piece of manky pro ya barely think will hold and lookin at a 75 to 80 ft screamer while youre pumped from lactic acid buildup and ready to peel off the wall before ya get your next piece of protection in, now that has scared the shit outta me before. for some reason, i never get pumped jumping, no adrenaline rush.......i mean, i have fun....lots of fun, and thats why i love doing it and did it as a job for 3 years. ill always love skydiving, and will never stop, but i do have a habit of getting into one thing and getting lax on the rest of the things i love doing. anyhow, lots of things can be sports, and although ive thought about it being called a sport a few times and said to myself.......well, really not a "sport" i guess it is if you think of it in a competetion sence ala 4 way or the like it is. i think i almost turned that into a thread hijack and caught myself......... _______________________________ HK MP5SD.........silence is golden

I'm not saying that I climb 12's, (at least not anymore, I'm out of shape) but I really like working very hard problems. The process of learning to climb something like that is the fun part. For example I once spent a month working white lighning in Yosemite. I was barely leading 5.10 at the time. Nothing like finishing something that took that much effort. look familiar?????????? too bad for me it was january and cold as hell.......i only got to play with it for a day b4 i went up to cave rock in tahoe and then down to bishop where it was a bit warmer........i think cave rock has been off limits now for a while........ second photo is in hueco tanks near el paso.......pic is saved as 45 degree wall, although i think its the wrong wall and this is a different area. next is on mount lemmon in az, the hunchback arete, climb is up the overhanging outside edge, i think its 11a, only one way up and one way down........back the way ya came, lower off the cold shuts at the top of the climb. last pic is for jt........burros on the side of the road near redrock canyon.......this one actually came halfway into the rv, i had to push him out with the other 15 outside.....these guys still wandering around or have all the people infested the area and whined to have them removed by the blm????? _______________________________ HK MP5SD.........silence is golden
