Hmmmm...perhaps it's more like two parents (R's & D's) fighting over how to raise the kid (Israel) and the kid doesn't like it and raises their voice. THIS IS POLICY TOWARD ISRAEL THE US IS FORMULATING not the other way around. You can argue and whine about how Israel is doing this that and the other. Remember this...Israel and by close extension, the Jews live by two words (and frankly I don't blame them at all): "NEVER AGAIN." And when a people, any people have that level of resolve and have a long and credible history of demonstrating that resolve, I'd think more than twice about tangling with them.

It's a nice thought and I'm sure you offer it in good faith and well thought through and OBTW, I'm not falsely or immodestly patronizing your comments. But even under the conditions you describe would not guarantee that Iran would halt their intent to develop nuclear weapons.

Great pictures thanks for posting. If this is "crazy," we all need more of it!

Well...hindsight is always 20/20 isn't it!?!?!? Remember that the political strategy that translated to the military response could not exceed the mandates of UN Resolution 242. Further, there was serious concern with US policy makers and military planners that exceeding the UN mandates would break up the coalition arrayed against Iraq.

If you define invasion of a foreign hostile force across a country's border across all three domains... 1. Land invasion 2. Sea invasion 3. Air invasion The history books have many examples of all three. I'll leave it to you to do the research. In the 21st Century...a new one...cyber invasion And lest we forget...wait for it. A ZOMBIE INVASION!

In the particular time, circumstances and established objectives of the first Gulf War, Cheney's words were well within the parameters of the political objectives. Much different set of circumstances after 2001.

I humbly recommend adding Trump as well.

At your request to be brief. Google "College Students Rebel Against Obamacare Fees" Also: "Students Support Waiving State Sales Tax For Books."

Not even worth the time explaining why you don't get it.

Gee, they had Facebook back then? I don't think so! Still got your head and other body parts still stuck in the 50's and 60's and 70's? Oh that was so so long ago! Gotta get hip to the times!

I dare say that being a champion of the "right, trendy, popular, politically correct, whatever, things does not constitute a legitimate defense. By it's VERY nature, murder...ANY murder is a hate crime for it incorporates some factor of malice. The lifestyle, race, political leanings of the victim are irrelevant even absent of current law.

The level of intensity i.e. going viral is well documented BEFORE they dropped the story and the damage was still done. A man with the same name as the accused had his reputation dragged through the media because he was a Conservative and a member of the Tea Party. Whether he recovered his reputation after the Colorado Theatre shooting, I don't know.
-
Brian Ross (ABC News) incorrectly tied the alleged Colorado shooter to the Tea Party. The tragedy of the Tuscon, Arizona shooting in which there were fatalities and Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was severely wounded was initially tied to Conservatives; subsequently to Tea Party "antics." This is fairly recent history but how soon forgotten.

Yea...could be that simple; kind of a "Occam's Razor thing if you know what I mean. But he's also a self described "Progressive." I guess we won't hear too much about him from CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC. FOX will probably have something on this but like the rest of them, will probably get most of the story wrong. On the other hand, if this guy was was an avowed Conservative member of the Tea Party, the usual suspects would be howling 24/7 over this one.

Having a problem getting better material these days? You're either scouring the bottom of the barrel or dealing from the bottom of the deck. Let me know when you get some serious and worth reading.

Wait till they see all the taxes taken out of their paycheck and their take-home pay isn't what they thought it would be. That's when wisdom starts to set in. My daughter is finding this one out right now.

Yes they have and since atheism and agnosticism have too become religions as they believe in nothing but profess it nonetheless and are rather strident about it these days. Here are some famous atheists: Adolph Hitler Joseph Stalin Mao Che Castro Between the five of them professing no existence of God, they've murdered a little over 150 million people. Right again professor, I salute your astute observations!

Fog of War! Flew on six weapons inspection missions in Iraq back in '96. On several occasions, the UN Helicopter got shot at evidenced by bullet holes in non-vital acft area noted post-mission. Was not on any mission that got shot at that I am aware of. The holes were there but no one 'fessed up to who did what. Fun 'n games.

Been in both enough times to understand the situation. Procedures I'm familiar with in hostile and potentially hostile regions requires an intelligence brief, aircrew spotters, observers. I don't diagree but I'm talking in probabilities here. Even in a potenial high threat area, awareness is heightened.

+1 I really don't care what happens to him professionally. I learned a lot about the press (printed & media) a long time ago. If we're all that guillable to believe their brand of the news or believe that they are paragons of the truth...the joke's on us.
