I hope to one day be rich enough to date the attractive, but superficial. That might be the mechanism to get past the obstacle of my personality.

I tried to convince my teachers of this for years. Now they are trying to convince me.

Eagles - Boys of Summer Sounded funny until they started using Led Zeppelin in Cadillac commercials. Jimmy Page is now easy-listening.

According to the Urban Dictionary, a male who is between his 40's and 50's, and gets much younger women, is a male cougar. Also called a rhino. Your problem is that when women go after much younger men for purely sexual reasons, they are applauded by their peers. However, their female peers will give you grief about it and the non-players are just kissing up. How totally unfair. I don't how you put up with it. Rhino should be your sig line.

It sure is nice to have someone take the heat off of me for a change.

I agree with you, but that is all for the "future". For people that plan for the next hour, spenders are the way to go. When the current sponsor runs out, there is a new one. I used to think it was a Florida thing bred by tourism. "This person won't be here in two weeks, party time..."

But, many people with money do--if only in some cases to present one and weed out the reaction of their first-dates they suspect may only be after them for their money. If someone is using coupons, then it is suspected that they don't have money to spare... or better yet, share. When people are looking for a sponsor, they avoid the one with a limited budget.

Is it OK to use a condom on a first date?

...and let's say the goal is to identify someone with these issues before discussion of a second date. You may have to to kiss a lot of toads before you find the prince. Princes don't carry coupons.

Ro, if more women listened to you, Bonfire would have 80% less threads.

If I was out on a date and she wanted to pay with a coupon, I would be ok with it.

BP admits faking their website "Exaggerate the command center activity", or as the rest of us say, "lie about doing something". It's like a Monty Python skit. "We're doing something." "No you're not." "Yes we are. See the pictures." "You made those up." Workers were monitoring stuff ? So they could take some sort of action ? Never mind... BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill command center in Houston BP acknowledges it posted on its website this altered photo that exaggerates the activity at its Gulf oil spill command center in Houston, on July 16 2010. The picture posted over the weekend showed workers monitoring a bank of 10 giant video screens displaying underwater images. "Trust me, I'm from BP and we are doing everything we can..."

I know... you are thinking... "last year, I went to the Halloween party as a pirate. ninja would be good this year." But! What to do with the cat ? You want to go as a ninja, but you have no Samurai Cat outfit. Well, here you go... Samurai Cat Instructions are on the site, but may take some patience.

Noddy is 90 years old. He's played golf every day since his retirement 35 years ago. One day he arrives home looking downcast. "That's it," he tells his wife. "I'm giving up golf. My eyesight has become so bad that once I hit the ball I can't see where it went." His wife asks, "Why don't you take you old friend Milton, and give it one more try." "That's no good" sighs Noddy, "Milton's a hundred and three. He can't help." "He may be a hundred and three", says Noddy's wife, "but his eyesight is perfect." So the next day Noddy heads off to the golf course with Milton. He tees up, takes a mighty swing and squints down the fairway. He turns to Milton and says, "Did you see the ball?" "Of course I did!" replied Milton. "I have perfect eyesight". "Where did it go?" says Noddy. "I don't remember."

One thing that helps is to look around immediately after opening. Don't do the busy-stuff (sliders, booties, etc). Grab your rears and start looking for traffic. Do the other stuff after you are sure that you are clear. Second, don't spiral over the main landing area. Third, look before you do a spiral, or fast turn, anywhere.

Hey! Thanks for the link! I didn't have that, it was sure fun to run through the entire list and see some names of people I love on it! Contact Info It is cool seeing how many famous skydivers have 3-digit Muff numbers. "Yeah. Knew him/her back in the day."

It wouldn't be necessary. Hillary could just claim she'd been in a fight again.

Why do DZ's Screw other DZ's??
happythoughts replied to ktmlouie47's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Most DZs have an event for Labor Day, also July 4th, Memorial Day, Christmas, and New Years. any 3-day weekend. Most have Halloween plans also. -
Thank you for the mature, informative post. Do you honestly think they weren't motivated? They had continual efforts put forth to improve the matter, they might not have worked, but they tried. People are so ignorant and arrogant it's amazing... Really ? Let's talk about 2 choices. 1- Sealing the well, but in the process it will never produce oil in the future and they will lose their investment. 2- A flow of thousands of barrels a day (instead of saying millions of gallons per day) until they can get a solution in place that will allow them to use the well. Do you really believe that there was no option-1 out there? Ignorance is about lack of information. Do You have special information that others lack ? Tell us. Did you get it all from the standard media also? Same information, different conclusions. If it costs them an extra $1 billion, but they can get $3 billion out of the well later, which option are they going to choose (even if it means leaving the well free-flowing for 3 months). Read about the 73 Ford Pinto sometime. It costs $11 per car to move the gas tank up off the differential. Their choice? It was cheaper to let a few people (180) burn. Amount of expected lawsuits $ < cost of fixing cars. Learned that one in business law in college. Pinto brief That's how corporate decisions are made. Knowing that, I feel less ignorant.
