OMG does Nataly live in Monaco? or close to Monaco? Can I come visit you at the end of May Nataly? Heck you don't even need to be there (not that I wouldn't mind meeting the infamous ex-Canadian Nataly), no she does not have to be there just as long as I can squat at her place for the weekend. I would love to attend the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix but could never get past the ridiculously expensive hotels of Monaco, especially on Grand Prix weekend. Such theres a few people I don't like but they really are few. No the person I had in mind is just an arse. He thinks the same of me so fair play. You just make that up? You have any ballistics data to back that up? Any statistical analysis of fatalities due to firearm or caliber types? Didn't think so. Oh come on, seriously? Do you think that guy who shot people in a cinema would have hit 71 people and killed 12 had he been armed with a glock instead of an AR-15? Really? Don't think so. Actually it wouldn't be to difficult at close range and enough loaded magazines for anyone with some training and experience (Military training or otherwise) in a crowded theatre. But thats not what you said, you compared the amount of damage that a handgun can to with that which a AR15 can do, not the amount of casualties that can be inflicted. Its all about shot placement. I know you guys might not realize this, so Ill point it out directly. Shooting bambi in the face, generally ends bambis life. guns have no purpose EXCEPT to end life. Thats why the Secret Service choose GUNS as their weapon of choice against a would be assassin of your beloved Obama. They are most effective at ending the life of someone/thing. Guns weren't designed to "shoot targets at the olympics" the olympic sport was developed to SHOWCASE how well people are at shooting a tiny target (you know, like the heart of an animal or person) Yep...same with javelin. The javelin wasn't developed so that people could practice throwing shit a long way. The spear was developed to kill things, and then they developed CONTESTS to compete and further the skill set of throwing a spear to kill things. Your lack of knoweldge on firearms is evident, trying to have a discussion on them with you, is like asking someone what car they drive and being given the answer 'a red one'. Best you research a subject and engage brain before going very verbose. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Not a great example... When's the last time 71 people in a cinema were attacked/injured/killed by a woman armed with lipstick?? Actually I agree it was a pretty poor example, but I do have a much better one. Why are people allowed to buy cars that go over 75 Mph? In fact why do they want them? Other than on German autobahns its pretty much illegal to do so just about anywhere on public roads (with a couple of state exceptions). So why are cars able to go up to 150-200mph (Depending on the car)? In fact we could go further with this, if cars were restricted to a top speed of 75 MPH the number of deaths on American roads would decrease each year most likely by thousands, last year alone there were over 25,500 people who died on American roads. One could argue that many many more people would be saved every year by banning cars from travelling over 75 mph than by banning AR-15's. Who needs a car that can go faster than the speed limit? What purpose does it serve, and speed is directly linked to the deaths of thousands of Americans every year. If you're looking to save lives forget about AR15's ban cars that go over 75 MPH. Palin’s Prediction Of ‘Death Panels’ Was Accurate

Well, I guess time will tell. More and more folks are turning against Obamacare for a variety of reasons. We can't escape it. If we die, we die. This I know, at 71 YO my chances of adequate treatment are dwindling. Hi Ron, don't get me wrong here I'm not advocating Obamacare, I'm just saying its a massive of a leap to say Palin was right about death Panels based on the evidence cited in the article. No worries mate. You posts are always well reasoned. I am the flamboyant raucous one. Enjoy the rest of your night. My wife and I are off to Bible study. God bless Ron.
