I think the term "don't feed the trolls" is the best approach "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

You call that snow! ? Your snow has only started. Better look at a forcast, Moutain Man. Here's the road from my place last winter. People were snowed in for days here last winter - By the look of your photo you had better hike overe to Wendy's with a sleeping bag and plan to stay a month. after seing that picture it brought back memories of when I was in Ohio, we use to dig tunnels into the snow off the road after they plowed! early 70's If you were in the Dayton, Ohio area in the mid-1970s then you probably got your fill of snow, including blizzards, and 22 degrees F or so below zero. It was Columbus, actually just outside of Columbus, a little town called Pickerington, most of the roads were gravel with tar on them, I remember hearing cars miles away and we would know exactly who it was the good old days! Tornados are also associated with some conditions related to hurricanes. Tornados and severe thunderstorms seem to have some type of structure that, at times, produces the micro-burst which heads for the ground. When it hits the ground at high velocity the winds radiate in a 360 degree fashion. You have probably seen pictures of micro-bursts that hit in wooded areas with the result that trees are downed and all pointed away from the point where the wind hit the ground. A number of airliner accidents have been caused by micro-bursts including a well documented one immediately adjacent to the New Orleans airport a number of years ago as the airliner took off. Another well known accident happened at the DFW airport a number of years ago during landing when a L-1011 was litterly scoured out of the sky short of the runway. This accident was definitely weather related but I don't specifically remember if it was a micro-burst (if it wasn't, it was something similiar to one). yes but during Wilma signs of microburst's were everywhere, since that storm alot of minds have been changed from (mini Tornadoes) to a microburst causing the damage. I have been in many Hurricanes and during Wilma there was alot of damage due to them, I took a picture of a house that had extensive damage to the back and sides of the house, and no other damage like this on the surrounding homes, the picture does not show very much detail but the bolts that secure the Hurricane shutters where pushed in a downward position like I have never seen before! these bolts were rated at 150 mph (3 second gust)at pressures I'm not sure of at the moment but the wind ripped the shutter right off the house! and the front yard and surrounding area had little damage, the shutters were secure on the front of the house and the back and side were missing along with the fence in the backyard to the ceiling fan on the porch was destroyed. A microburst is a downward thrust of air that is a threat to aircraft at low levels, the danger is at take off and landings with surrounding storms. (see photo) They are now associated with Hurricanes after showing signs of microburst's durring Hurricane Wilma. I don't know if anyone has noticed this about LD Cooper & Dewey Max Cooper, I see a problem with Birth dates? Records show Dewy died in 1985 at age 54. (see attached photo) Writer or publish error - for sure. Dewy was supposedly older than LD. well she has stated that he died in 1985 at age 54, so that puts him at 1931? Family tree site gives the birth at 1931 and so does the SSDI. Dewey COOPER Birth Date: 11 Aug 1931 Death Date: May 1985 Social Security Number: 541-34-#### State or Territory Where Number Was Issued: Oregon Death Residence Localities ZIP Code: 97305 Localities: Brooks, Marion, Oregon Salem, Marion, Oregon Death Benefit Localities Zip Code: 97305 Localities: Brooks, Marion, Oregon Salem, Marion, Oregon "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' I don't know if anyone has noticed this about LD Cooper & Dewey Max Cooper, I see a problem with Birth dates? Records show Dewy died in 1985 at age 54. (see attached photo) Interesting. Matt I was watching a interview on NewsOk with Nolan Clay, he asked how to spell Dewey's name and she corrected him by saying Dewie? this confused me given the fact she said she has been researching her Family! I started researching Dewey and this is when I found the Birth dates not making any sense, this was a very interesting interview found here. http://newsok.com/marla-cooper-uncut/multimedia/video/1095753368001 "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' I'm pretty sure he is talking about "Bob Knoss" Over the last couple of years, I have seen one post after another in this BK vein. The story is as fluid as the Mississippi, and changes course just as much" "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' she says he landed 7 miles from his home, is that the one they are trying to link in Vancouver? I don't believe he was doing survey work in 1970? was later on if I'm not mistaken. I think if you can find out the middle name of the person who lived at 2611 Unander Ave in Vancouver would also help, records only indicate a Lynn D Cooper from 69-70 married to Phyllis, Marla stated she didn't think he was married. Thanks Matt,Georger, I was refering to getting the link to work on the thread

I found a interesting article on Marla dated Jan 04, 2012 http://www.bendbulletin.com/article/20110806/NEWS0107/308069999/ can't get link to work on here? well said rosebud, I am here to try and find some "truth" to this story rather than some other places that don't have the knowledge as seen on these threads. I can get a better understanding of this by reading these threads than going onto sites that tell a completely different misguided version from even getting the plane wrong by saying it's a 747 and he was a 5' tall African American?? there is alot of knowledge on here and I have the up most respect for there work, so to me this would be a good place to find some "truth" in so many different versions of this story. Understood and thanks for the reply,I guess I'm saying more to the effect of people should be with held from making any statements until the investigation is over much like the FBI does themselves. just seems that it would be better on both sides if they wait until anything goes public before starting the "media circus" "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' I agree with you to a certain extent, I think the FBI should put a gag order on claims such as these and not allow them to comment until the investigation has concluded with any validation and not giving them a head start by profiting from the claim because after all everyone is seeking the truth and by claiming this before hand only makes things harder for everyone. In Roberts defense I see he is going through the samething speaking of KC and getting alot of negative feedback, the way I see this is you leave the door open for debate in cases such as this and tempers are going to flare when there is a difference in opinions. I am here like many others seeking the truth and trying to find answers to this story, I personally don't believe Marla's story and feel it's my right to say that, I also see alot of holes in the KC story but would sure like to find out where he got all of that money, and speaking of money what happens if the story is true? is Marla now subject to take the earnings she has made and give it back towards the stolen $200,000? these are only my thoughts on how I see all of this. I think I read where they did give a list to other countries but once again who is really going to check every single bill coming from where ever. I think it's safe to say that the money could very well have slipped right on through. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' yes but I believe it was told of the body of Frank morris, the only other evidence that happened was a phone call the next day asking for a Lawyer (don't remember name) he asked the lady who she thought he might be and she said no....he said read the newspaper and hung up. so once again we have circumstantial evidence and that could not be confirmed by the phone call or the sighting of the body which I found strange that they could tell who he was looking through binoculars of a floating body? Clarence Carnes swore up and down that they made it by getting a post card saying "gone fishing" he also claims a boat was waiting for there pick up? do we believe a convict? who knows.
