  1. It's been over a year with the same smell in the room, I cracked a window to let a "Draft" in for some refreshing air to circulate "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 2. everything I put on that post was from Citizen Sleuths site, this was the reason I was confused about the matches, still am I'm looking into this issue of Titanium in matches since I am not in this field of expertise I'm trying to understand it better. didn't Peterson retract the statement of being Cooper at one point? 3. what exactly would the purpose of Titanium be in matches? "No the 60 micron particle was actual titanium metal that was smeared and had stainless embedded in it." I work with a lot of different metals and when combined you need to separate the two different metals because of corrosion, however, BACKGROUND CONTEXT: Surgeons are hesitant to mix components made of differing metal classes for fear of galvanic corrosion complications. However, in vitro studies have failed to show a significant potential for galvanic corrosion between titanium and stainless steel, the two primary metallic alloys used for spinal implants. Galvanic corrosion resulting from metal mixing has not been described in the literature for spinal implant systems. T.O. 33B-1-14-664.5.8.3 Metal Smearing.Flowing of surface metal may result from machining operations, abrasion during service, or by deformation duringassembly or disassembly of an aircraft or component. The depth of smearing in nonmagnetic materials and itsmetallurgical effects will rarely exceed 0.002 to 0.003 inch. At normal crack detection frequencies, the metallurgicalchanges created by smeared metal may not affect eddy current response. However, metal build-up and depressionsassociated with the smearing create changes in lift-off. With meter type instruments this change may exceed lift-offcompensation and cause irrelevant indications. With impedance plane analysis instruments detection of flaws will notbe affected, if sufficiently separated in phase angle from the lift-off angle. In ferromagnetic steel, eddy currentpenetration is very shallow, and any blemish of the surface increases the difficulty of inspection "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 4. has anyone discussed this angle? this was in the FBI files. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  5. The Draft By late 1942 all men aged 18 to 64 were required to register for the draft, though in practice the system concentrated on men under 38. Eventually 36 million men registered. Individuals were selected from this manpower pool for examination by one of over 6,000 local draft boards. These boards, comprised of citizens from individual communities, determined if a man was fit to enter the military. They considered factors like the importance of a man's occupation to the war effort, his health, and his family situation. Many men volunteered rather than wait to be drafted. That way, they could choose their branch of service. Potential servicemen reported to military induction centers to undergo physical and psychiatric examinations. If a man passed these exams, he was fingerprinted and asked which type of service he preferred, though his assignment would be based on the military's needs. After signing his induction papers, he was issued a serial number. The final step was the administration of the oath. He was now in the military. After a short furlough, he reported to a reception center before being shipped to a training camp. New recruits faced more medical examinations, inoculations, and aptitude tests. 6. Bruce, did you ever hear anything more from Marla about the birth issues? I was just on You Tube and someone responded to a old post I made about the birth issues. "I met Marla Cooper just yesterday.. She is the one who told me to look at this video.. Yes the dates do not match but she explained why. She has a book coming out that will explain it all.. it is not my place to tell. Keep a look out for her book. This story is more interesting than you believe." the post was made a month ago. 7. now "unclassified" document on "The Army Corrections System" (4) Prisoners will not be given work assignments that require the handling of, or access to, personnel records, classified information, drugs, narcotics, intoxicants, arms, ammunition, explosives, money or institutional keys. Prisoners will not have access to automation equipment unless approved by the ACS facility commander and properly supervised. http://arba.army.pentagon.mil/documents/army%20corrections%20command/AR%20190-47%20The%20Army%20Corrections%20System.pdf "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 8. Jo, here are some pics I put together, not the best but here ya go. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  9. "When I talked with Tom Kayne at the Burke Museum, he told me the Titaniun he found on the tie was probably from match heads as DB was a smoker and would have used matches." If this is true, Tom needs to rewrite his pages on CS site. Fact: Microscopic metallic titanium pieces were found on Cooper's tie. Fact: In 1971, titanium was a strategic metal primarily used in military aircraft, some civilian aircraft and highly corrosive industrial plants. Metalic titanium was not found in consumer products at that time. Fact: All titanium used in aircraft is alloyed and the Cooper material was pure titanium. Interpretation: Due to the lack of alloyed titanium, Cooper did not work in the aircraft industry. Fact: Spiral chips of aluminum and other exotic metals like bismuth and stainless steel were found on the tie. Fact: Spiral aluminum chips of the type found on the tie are made in metal fabrication plants that use lathes and drill presses. Interpretation: Cooper worked in or had access to, an exotic metal fabrication facility that contained titanium, aluminum and other specialty metals. Fact: In 1971, only engineers and managers in fabrication plants wore ties to work. Interpretation: Cooper was a either a manager or engineer. Further interpretation: Cooper's knowledge of the workings of the airplane, the use of the parachute, and his construction of a "bomb" suggests he may have been an engineer. http://www.citizensleuths.com/titaniumparticles.html "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 10. The clip is extremely small Jo, I mean micro small, there is not enough space on the clip to get any prints. Since you have trouble with video, I will put some photo's up on the size and show you how small this clip is. The only area in which a print would be found would be on the pearl face and this would also be a partial print due to the size and if you were putting the clip on, you would probably smudge the print. 1905 U.S. Army begins using fingerprints. U.S. Department of Justice forms the Bureau of Criminal Identification in Washington, DC to provide a centralized reference collection of fingerprint cards. Two years later the U.S. Navy started, and was joined the next year by the Marine Corp. During the next 25 years more and more law enforcement agencies join in the use of fingerprints as a means of personal identification. Many of these agencies began sending copies of their fingerprint cards to the National Bureau of Criminal Identification, which was established by the International Association of Police Chiefs. http://onin.com/fp/fphistory.html "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 11. here is Barnes & Nobles's response Thank you for contacting us about the NOOK Book D.B. Cooper. We appreciate your interest with B&N and in taking the time to know more about our products. We checked our website, and it shows that there is a NOOK Book “D. B. Cooper: The FBI Files”. According to the Overview, “D. B. Cooper: The FBI Files” is a collection of the official declassified Federal Bureau of Investigation files from the D. B. Cooper case, which is the content you could be looking for. 12. "Hell, your guess is as good as mine! I had pushed the emory cloths out of my mind until a substance was found on the tie that was NOT supposed to be there. What I have done using what I actually know about Weber is to suggest how these particles got on the tie." It's not the fact of "not supposed to be there" it's the fact that Titanium was not widely used there for it it narrow's the Possibilities of who could of been around this material. 13. Can you please post a link so we can check it out. 14. I emailed them asking if they were the same declassified files from the FBI's website just to make sure "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  15. for the price of $4.99 I would say it's the same files, they put it on ebook which is a pretty cool program. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  16. LD Cooper was supposedly making guitar straps, not strings, would be extremely hard to pull prints off of string as for the prints, I would guess that FBI could have taken bad print samples because I think most of them are not very good, so you can't say that all of the bad prints the FBI has are from one person. sorry 99, thought I was replying to Jo "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  17. after looking at "citizen slueths" website about the tie, they gave these numbers. . Number of passengers potentially leaving a tie on Coopers flight including Cooper = 20 (36 total, 6 women on passenger list plus 10 men wearing ties when they exited the plane from 1971 video. 2. Forgetting the tie on the plane = 15% (best estimate) 3. Leaving the tie on Coopers seat = 5% (best estimate) 4. Smoker = 44% (percentage of males who smoked in 1970 [1]) 5. Passengers wearing a black tie = 35% (best estimate) watching the video I noticed one guy without a tie out of about 12 that I could count that had ties on, just a thought. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6qkuj_db-cooper_people correction possible two out of 12 "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 18. If it is a Tie Clip, why is he wearing it backwards? If it is a Tie "Pin", it would make sense for this pic. Yet it won't make the connection to "Cooper". The FBI has a Tie with a Clasp, and it is the Tie identified by the Flight Attendant as the one "Cooper" wore. Matt I pretty much concluded that the white on the tie is the same as the other white particles on the photo, after enlarging it the particle can be seen over lining the jacket where a clip or pin would not. zero evidence upon enlarging shows any indication of gold or anything else for that matter, this clip is extremely small measuring a little or 1 inch in length and the pearl is 1/4 inch in diameter, I purchased the same clip shown is this quick video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcFR_Gyk8AI The clip itself is nice looking but, very cheap in the manufacturing part, it was stamped and bent in to shape with the clip added last, the clip is very fragile and started to bend out of shape after several attemps to get it open. I now understand why Coopers clip is bent. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 19. It was posted to me Dave, talking about language I just used and then he said, consider this a warning of sorts. so again I'm confused about the response, "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 21. this man is clearly not playing with a full deck, perhaps this will be the end of the slander/lies and twisting ways of Robert Knoss (doubtful but fingers crossed) thanks for stepping in and taking a step forward in ending this game, we can now have normal conversation's about Cooper without him correcting everything someone talks about! 22. he was multi-talented, his first love was flying, then he was a movie star with Scott, and finally a expert rigger "the best in the business" it's also my understanding that he was required to have a "interview" with the Selective Service at the age of 8! If I'm not mistaken Bill was also the inventor of the water tight Milk can, this Can was known to with stand flooding and years of being underground.
