  1. If you have cloud cover at 5000 and the plane is at 10,000 how exactly does one see a man on the stairs? I live about 8 or 10 miles from Hollywood International and the planes that pass over my house at a much lower altitude, less than 5000 I can not make out the back or bottom of the plane! (at night) I'm not saying it's not possible for him to use the flares but to see that much detail is a little hard to swallow! if you are to believe this than he jumped much later than they make the call at. and no Bob Knoss, she was not in Portland! and this puts problems with your path again, don't even comment! 2. move on Bob..... McCoy is dead! your story is dead! you have been caught, dead wrong! your flight path is dead wrong! Janet is dead wrong! move on Bob. 3. one can only wonder what the hell really happened up there, others have made the jump, I just can't get off the fence wondering if he made it or not? I want to say yes, but there is nothing supporting this other than the money found, then I want to say he is dead and hanging in a tree some where or died in a no pull? much like the Tootsie Pop.....the world may never know "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  4. If "evidence" is questionable here, it will be twice as hard to prove to the FBI or the media, they take no prisoners when it come to this. 5. I got it from a friend of mine who flew for Northwest and was on that flight. I think he would know, huh? Now blow that one up and paste it on your wall, clown! I have a pile of rocks in my front yard that have better info than you. You are beyond help. Go find a job. Don't try the Dave Haapala crap again Bob, you didn't answer the question (no shock there) you were the "keeper of information" remember, Bob 10 miles from the flight path puts you over the river and 15 puts you route 30! your friend is as much of a fool as you are, right. 7th time, since you are the "keeper of the information" please tell us why you made your map that you were so proud of showing everythng shifted to the east and north, Amboy in the wrong County etc etc also refresh our minds on the Oil Pipeline that does not run thru Washington or Oregon? yout Liberal tactics are getting old Mr Consevative! 6. 6th time now Mr Truth! please advise us as to how you came about 10- 15 miles west of the original flight path? you keep saying you are about truth but yet you claim Flying Cloud was something else, you won't admit your mistake with Matt in calling out Bill Rataczak as TOG you try and use a dead end lead (Janet) to add to your story? you are the one who needs to leave. please tell us once again how you arrived at 10-15 miles west? no side tracking hogwash by candy coating your BS! I'll tell you the answer....it puts you so far west that they wouldn't need to "go around Portland" "you and Mrs. Hutter." how old are you Bob? you act like a 10 year old once you are cornered! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  7. at what level of experience would you put Cooper at? do you think he knew what he was doing or was he over his head? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

  9. Flying Cloud Airport (IATA: FCM, ICAO: KFCM) is a public airport located in the city of Eden Prairie in Hennepin County, Minnesota, about 11 miles (18 km) southwest of the central business district (CBD) of Minneapolis. The airport covers 543 acres (220 ha) and has three runways. The airport was created in 1941 when the United States Navy was training pilots for World War II. The Navy made arrangements with a local farmer, Martin "Pappy" Grill, to use a grass landing strip. Pilots flying from Wold-Chamberlain Airport, now Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, would use this field for practicing approaches. After the war, Grill sold the field and some adjoining land to American Aviation, Inc. John Stuber gave the field its name "Flying Cloud Airport" to reflect local Indian lore and flying. The Metropolitan Airports Commission bought the airport in 1948 and paved the runway. The MAC built a control tower in 1963. By 1966, it was ranked the second-busiest airport in the central United States behind Chicago-O'Hare International Airport. In 1968, with 446,198 takeoffs and landings, it was the ninth-busiest airport in the United States.[1] Today it is designated by the FAA as a reliever airport and aircraft are restricted to 60,000 pounds or less, except in an emergency situation or when operated by the U.S. Government.[2] Because of the airport's proximity to the Valleyfair amusement park, the park's rides are restricted in height by FAA regulation Stop lying Bob! 10. "Everybody knew what was meant" nobody knows ?what you meant" your brain is one of the left over WW2 balloon bombs, pick up a map some time Bob. while we are at it Mr Truth, 5th time now, please explain how you arrived at 10-15 miles west of the FBI flight path? and explain why you "shifted" everything east on your map! last year you said this Bob...Shakopee, not Savage, my BOoBOo.. On the edge of a very tall river bank with tons of beautiful jumping area. Yeah, it is in Eden Prarrie now. Back in the day it was called the Shakopee airport. Bob, your ignorance has been on here long enough, go back to your knitting! The real question is Bob....how many fools does it take to make up a story?.......ONE "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  11. Jo, I don't think the point is that the FBI didn't do a full background check on Duane as much as it was the amount needed, I think they did the investigation as far as they felt given the fact of the prints coming back negative as well as the DNA. I understand your feeling about the prints and DNA but the FBI is not going to look that deep into Duane's past unless something peaks there interest. I don't think they took a magnifying glass to Marla's family either. If you feel this strong and compelled to continue I recommend getting a private eye or a police officer like Marla did to get there attention. 12. "Don't even remember what it was at this time. Mc Nally was a school teacher? What happened to him - did he die in prison? Seems like these guys just disappear off the face of the earth...or the system swallows them up. " see photo "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  13. Flying Cloud airport has always been in Eden Prairie, and don't try the name change deal either, that was in 1948! you would think you could at least check your sources in your own hometown? The flying cloud airport is north of the Minnesota River. On the south side of Eden Prairie. NO WAY IN HELL.....the airport could have been in Shakopee (per my little birdie) I have eye's and ears all over this round thing we live on Mr Eggman. I have a map from the 60's that shows it named Flying Cloud, Vicki pointed this out to you a year ago! Bob your story has run it's course, I believe it's time for you to retire and start building bird houses, personally I think knitting suits you better!!! also thought I would fly your flag for a while, hope ya don't mind (see photo) "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  14. well.......hang on.......almost there.......Howdy Farf "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  15. ok, now I'm understanding what you are saying. #1 Websites are generally made by normal people #2 unsolved mysteries can lead one to false information, this is where you will find conflicting websites. #3 I would still go by the website made specifically for that task, I'm sure some information might be a little skewed but the over all portion of a website built by them for people to see history unfold would be a trusted site in my opinion. #4 this is why a good investigator will check several sources before coming to any conclusions. you must always go by trusted sources, the FBI site is a trusted source but will have incorrect data on it. this will always be a fact when you are involved in any unsolved case. #5 any unsolved case leaves doors open for people like Knoss to construct a story to fit his needs, I have a similar problem with a guy in Australia showing fake ghost videos, this guy acts just like Knoss in his comments made against him, no matter what you tell this guy or even show him how the video was made he comes back with some sort of crazy response to try and validate what he is showing! this will always happen with the unsolved and unknown! 16. Sorry, You are right. Guess I need to get off the computer and check out my ego. Just I have sat on so much for so long and then - BANG here comes this supposed expert who really doesn't know anything but what he reads on the sites. It is a fact that they were WORKING on this BEFORE the entire Unit was sent out! No way they let an entire UNIT know what might be happening as they didn't have security clearances. Even today - that is how it is! Jo, You didn't need a security clearance. All you needed to do was open your eyes and look up. I and other people I know did exactly that and what we saw didn't send us running for a bomb shelter (we didn't have one in the first place) nor did it cause us to panic. You should start calling yourself Mrs. Knoss. Robert99 here is a nice pic of the balloon bomb and where they were spotted and exploded. 18. Jo, don't you think you are spinning a little out of control? you are sounding like Knoss by lashing out on people providing some facts that they feel are the actual ones! when someone provides evidence on here the first thing done is to check it, if it has a snag people will then show the problem, understand that this is what has been done "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  19. Well, the entire battalion was NOT sent until the early summer, but a group had already been to WA to be trained by Derry in the VERY early spring - snow was still on the ground. If they waited until May - many lives could have been lost to what they feared was CHEMICAL WARFARE. Perhaps you need to talk to your superiors about getting a higher clearance level. So you can TEACH the HISTORY of the 555's Operation Firefly! Use your noggin! "They" actually went to the N.W. before May of 1945. It was only the OFFICIAL move of the battalion in May this is referencing. SOME of THESE GUYS were ALREADY training in the WA area and housed at a place where locals noted strange thing had been going on." Any proof? even the Officers of the unit dispute this, the Army Records, USFS, as does Dreery's notes, and the book "The History of Smoke Jumpers". Again it means nothing until you can prove it has anything to do with Duane. Plus you still have to get him ALL the skills he needs to make the complete jump. Just observing won't cut it. I have been on the bridge of numerous A/C Carriers, I am not capable of driving one! I have flown IN numerous Cargo A/C and been on the flight deck on them all, I can't land 'em! I watched every episode of McGyver, but I can make a bomb from a paperclip, pizza roll, and a spark plug! Matt that all sounds about right, but the question I want to ask you is....how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?
  20. Bob, shut up and go away!!! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  21. Jo it will take me about 20 seconds to get the date, I have seen and read about the balloons, it has no relation to the DB Cooper case. ok, Daune has knowledge of parachuting with 555....now what? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  22. yes, now explain why they would allow convicts in on a secret operation? without Duane being a part of this I don't understand why this is so relevant?????? this all sounds so bizarre that I don't understand the connection of ww2 Jap balloons and DB Cooper????? as Matt explained the fact of a person needing very good experience just to jump out of the plane into the nite and possibly landing in rough terrain, this can not be done by over looking what someone has taken years to achieve! I'm trying to make sense of this but I'm coming up short....sorry! KC had parachute training Gossett had training Mayfield had training it still doesn't put them on the plane! 23. What was the Federal Law on the age in 1945? I have been told it was 21...in 1945. 377: You are a CA attorney - find the correct answer to this problem. I'm pretty sure it's always been 18, Clarence Carnes was 18 when he was sent to Alcatraz in 1945 born 1927 (Alcatraz was a Federal Prison) Carnes arrived on Alcatraz on July 6, 1945. On May 2, 1946, Carnes and five other inmates participated in a failed attempt to escape from Alcatraz which turned into the bloody "Battle of Alcatraz", so-called because three inmates and two prison officers died. After the escape failed, he was tried for murder along with the two other survivors, Sam Shockley and Miran Edgar Thompson, and was found guilty of participating in the plot. Shockley and Thompson were sentenced to death, while Carnes was given a 99-year sentence instead of death, because he had not directly participated in the murder of the officers.[citation needed] Carnes remained on Alcatraz until its closure in 1963, spending most of the time there in the segregation unit. ATTENTION BK, the escape from Alcatraz in 1962 is also a unsolved mystery, is it possible this was a failed attempt to tighten security in the prison system started by the President to the Pentagon down to the prison guards union? 24. I would go with option two, "old school" I still can't get past the "X" chute problem. have you seen a chute with a "X" on it? can't seem to find one, the only thing I found was this photo? Yep, a big red "X" to mark a demo container, not to be used for jumping. Matt Hmmmm maybe if I use the word "demo container" I have tried several different wordings and found nothing.
