my understanding is Duane was in Wa the 555 was in Oregon I'm sure they went there on calls" but they trained in Pendelton Oregon. Like BK's story why would they feel the need to use convicts in training exercises, my guess is they would use there own guys sort of like a job by starting from the bottom and moving up, or if they did use them it would have been something that was larger than they could handle themselves. they were based in Pendelton Oregon, this is where they did the training, they covered lots of states because it was so hard to know where the balloons were coming from some were shot down others went boom. http://www.b25.net/pages/b25jarmy.html over 9,000 balloon bombs went sent over and very few exploded...see map attached. once you turn 18 you go to the big boys prison, Duane was 19 so off he went, since it was a Federal crime this makes sense on him being able to leave CA. This is there website. read the history section 1944-1945 Also not mentioned was the 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion. By now they knew that they had acquired a new, temporary nickname, the "Smoke Jumpers", and that it would be part of the highly secret project known more officially as "Operation Firefly". http://www.triplenickle.com/smokejumpers.htm "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' was his crime a Federal crime? If so they can pick the prison they want to go to, If it is a State offence you then stay in the State where the crime was committed. when you are tried and convicted in a State, another state is not going to pick up the tab unlike a Federal crime. YA! Cooper didn't have a "crotch protector" like the smoke jumpers did

Jo, there are just as many books out there that give bad information/ advise etc, every website is not being "built" by some young kid? hundreds of thousands of sites are built by people with knowledge in the site itself, I'm not saying every website is accurate but you can't really compare the two. are we to stop putting links up anymore? Take it easy......all will be explained in security level two! yes the sandwich is factored in! McCoy made sure of it! I know because I was there! I think he will say..... The order came down from the Vice President to the Pentagon then thru the CIA in which they called up the NRA and established contact with Richard Floyd McCoy who at the time was a deputy Sheriff in a small Mexican town (we will discuss this at a later time) McCoy contacted Cooper who then contacted Oswald in a cafe in Texas. Cooper then told Oswald that the target must be taken out in order to secure security around the President, he instructed Oswald to go to the 6th floor, BUT do not fire, I repeat do not fire, others will handle the target. this is all based on my knowledge and has been signed by the highest traffic court judge in Florida as to being truthful as one can be! once you understand this part, I will grant you security to the 2nd level! Do us all a favor and stay gone like you have been, you will have plenty of time to explain this soon. It won't be on here either! Smokejumping was first proposed in 1934 by T.V. Pearson, the Forest Service Intermountain Regional Forester, as a means to quickly provide initial attack on forest fires. By parachuting in, self-sufficient firefighters could arrive fresh and ready for the strenuous work of fighting fires in rugged terrain. The smokejumper program began in 1939 as an experiment in the Pacific Northwest Region, and the first fire jump was made in 1940 on Idaho's Nez Perce National Forest in the Northern Region. In 1981, the first woman smokejumper in the nation successfully completed the training program at the McCall Smokejumper Base in Idaho. Site two Forrest Service The Forest Service began with experimental trials here in the fall of 1939. These early jumps proved that firefighters could safely parachute into the rugged timbered mountains to suppress wildfires, minimizing suppression cost and the loss of timber resources. Today the Department of Agriculture-Forest Service and the Department of the Interior-Bureau of Land Management have almost 400 smokejumpers at nine primary locations in the western United States and Alaska. The North Cascades Smokejumper Base provides initial fire attack for the forests of central and northern Washington State. 555 Activation The unit was activated as a result of a recommendation made in December 1942 by the Advisory Committee on Negro Troop Policies, chaired by the Assistant Secretary of War, John J. McCloy. In approving the committee's recommendation for a black parachute battalion, Chief of Staff General George C. Marshall decided to start with a company, and on 25 February 1943 the 555th Parachute Infantry Company was constituted. On 19 December 1943, Headquarters, Army Ground Forces, authorized the activation of the company as an all-black unit with black officers as well as black enlisted men. All unit members were to be volunteers, with an enlisted cadre to be selected from personnel of the 92d Infantry Division at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The company was officially activated on 30 December 1943 at Fort Benning, Georgia. After several months of training, the unit moved to Camp Mackall, North Carolina, where it was reorganized and redesignated on 25 November 1944 as Company A of the newly-activated 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' "This has to be the post of the year! I know it is early but even BK can't top this! (Where is old "Fable Spinner 6" these days? I hope he is OK)" I wouldn't put it past BK to be "making some evidence" to produce and then claim he was searching his 42' trailer! that he doesn't have! If Duane was smart enough to pull this off, I don't think he would be spending the money one month after the hijacking, seems Duane has been all over the place and just so happen to also be in the Washington area. what was the charges against Duane, if it was theft, this could explain the random amounts of money at different times and spending spree's of cars etc. you have him in Va, NY, SC, LA, WA, AZ, GA, OH, FL, probably more, don't you think maybe it's just a coincidence that he was in the WA area? you have to understand why the FBI is not looking at Duane, I just don't see any links? it's also possible the FBI looked more than they are telling you. well anyway you look at it the chute is missing, tossing it was only a thought, the area in which it would of landed is much larger than the chute itself and could easily be hanging in the trees all this time? I don't know, given the size and color of it VS the terrain one would tend to believe it would be hard to spot unless you tripped over it. to date nobody has any proof what so ever how he went out of the back of the plane, I am currently working on a project in hopes of finding some answers to this, I don't know at this stage, I don't know if anything will be found, but I will be able to tell you if the flight path is correct. one of the best tools is recreation, I'm going back to the scene of the crime so to speak and see what can be uncovered, corrected or confirmed for that matter! until you talk to Cooper its unanswerable. some things are unanswerable, except in Dropzone Dreamland where recreation and egoes trumps science. yes, but still one has to wonder why this chute is missing, if you try and base it on his knowledge of jumping, I would say this would be a fail because you would think he would have left that one on the plane, then you have the FBI killing him off by stating the jump could not be made while McCoy did it from 16,000.....so round and round we goooooo where he lands....nobody knooooows "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' agreed on the KC & the sunshine band facts what still bothers me with the chutes is why did he take the reserve with the X on it? how did he fail to notice or did he toss it? does anyone know if the FBI still has the letters with the envelopes? I'm not 100% sold on the letters but agree it's worth the effort in doing the testing. what can it hurt,, the case? lots of doors have been left open that could leave room for stories to evolve that possibly are not true, I say yes to them testing the stamps! I also believe it's way past due of them opening up the case to the Public, I think they are only hurting there reputation more by sitting on a 40 year old non security risk case! nobody's perfect, you can't win them all "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' you mean he didn't use the rope to tie the reserve to his back as someone mentioned? CRAP, it's also my understanding he performed the "triple lindy" off of the stairs in order to guide him onto the west side of the Columbia river where he put the money in a milk can surviving for years without damage to the money until the great flood popped it up like a cork and landed side by side on Tena Bar? no? CRAP! It was also my understanding that Janet saw Cooper from her home in Portland? how could this happen if he put the money close by Tena Bar???CRAP! I'm going to check into this, I think someone is misguiding me CRAP! Keep in mind that hundreds if not thousands have been sent to death row after being wrongly accused of something with about the same evidence presented on this thread! I know you say he might not be the hijacker, but I have a feeling you are holding back your true feelings and thoughts of who KC was? have you been able to find out where KC was the week of the hijacking? was he with the sunshine band that evening the main thing I would like the answer to on KC is where he got the large sums of money, the bad things about KC is the color of his eyes, his dome shaped head that would be easily noticed with a hair piece and his size. Duane also has some questions but I really can't understand all of the prison talk about him, how does this tie him into being Cooper? someone heavily medicated really can not be trusted in words, sort of like believing what a drunk tells you. our prison system is full of people convicted by the same standards that some are making here about who Cooper is, I'm not saying you guys are wrong with investigating your suspects, but the fact of saying a suspect is Cooper with only Circumstantial evidence can put you in a different category of investigators! I see a lot of jealousy on this thread that has shown me that you are one sided and blind to looking at other options. I am open to all suspects to date, sadly I do not see the WOW factor in any of them "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' I'm still waiting on your logic to the 10-15 miles west of the FBI flight path? would also like to know why you put everything on your map in different Counties, lakes etc etc? I have provided the map you made so you can explain? (see pic below ) you are only about truth, right? everything Matt said is true! why? because he says so! sound familiar truth seeker? explain your map please? explain how you calculated 10-15 miles west from the FBI flight path? "He probably writes that Regina crap, too. Him 'n Bleep?" that's the one you got busted on, was it not?
