I believe the path just might be right as well, but nobody has tried flying it the way we are doing it, Tom backs us 100% on what we are doing so as I mentioned before, if it's right we will have documentation along with the hard work by others flying the path on paper. "If the co-pilot is piloting the plane he is in the Co-pilots seat on the right side of the plane and he see the lights of Vancouver or Portland thur the haze (note he says to his RIGHT) and NOT directly infront of him!" if he seen lights of Vancouver or Portland sitting on the right side of the plane looking right he wouldn't be west of these two? "ballistic" I simple asked you to stop posting to me, in the upper left side of every post you will see this...Re: {insert name} this tells you who you are posting too correct? that's what I asked you to do correct? I didn't mention anything about the subject line correct? putting a mean face on a sentence validates "ballistic" ???? JUDGES?????? Come on. Half the time people re-post and re-quote material on this thread so much it can be tough to figure ownership. This one's yours, right? Besides, I used names in that last post. 'Georger', 'Smith'. Didn't see your name. YES, at the top of the post! where you direct the post too! this is between you and George.....keep it that way His name isn't 'George'. It's Jerry. And half the time no one reads the subject line anyway. Are you an English teacher by any chance? does it say Jerry on the post "Professor" ??? or on any of his postings? I don't care if his name is Fred! on here it's Georger, if you want to post something to Georger by all means do it, keep Re: mrshutter45 out of it! are we clear! why does it always get to this point with you on every subject??? wasn't talking about the subject line, you directed the post to me. I really wish you would stop using me when you are posting to someone else!! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

From Interviewer of Rat Interview No.3: quote: "Rataczak says they didn’t really know their exact location but he did see lights from his position on the right which he later explained meant he ‘was seeing either Portland or Vancouver coming into view.’ That is where Agent Carr gets his quote, I think. That is in the file notes." so basically it was broken clouds as I showed allowing some light to come through? that is true, but pretty close in my book, didn't Rataczak or Scott claim they couldn't see the city lights? I doubt they would lock him up after this long and given his age.... Bob, do us all a favor and stay in the background and await your demise, we don't need anymore of your lies, including trying to pass yourself off as a College dropout! your credibility is zero! worse than the ones under fire now! people are watching you and you know it, that's why you are "laying low" go away Bob!! Ahh, the revered D 104 ic, I know it well. http://www.qsl.net/wa2mzf/d104.html If you have the black Night Eagle limited edition D 104 they fetch a BIG price these days. If Marla's uncle was DBC then the walkie talkies used would be super collectable. By her description, they were probably Midland brand. Wonder what happened to them? There must be MILLIONS of old CBs in attics and garages, gathering dust. I see them at garage sales once in a while, priced as low as a dollar. I do have one authentic Cooper relic, a genuine Tena Bar twenty. I don't want to diminish its status by displaying an alleged DBC CB walkie talkie type next to it, not just yet. I've been doing some research trying to find the gear used by the MAC COG jumpers to find each other on the ground at night in the N Viet Nam jungle. I've found quite a bit of info on gear used to find downed pilots, and even have a working example of a hand held 243.0 MHz DF, but the special ops jumpers used something else, allegedly some low freq transistor radios and beacons. The N Viet military were always listening on 243.0 MHz hoping to capture downed US pilots before they could be rescued. 243.0 MHz is the freq used by bailout beacons. Its an international military aircraft distress freq. 377 "I've been doing some research trying to find the gear used by the MAC COG jumpers" are you reffering to these guys? http://www.modernforces.com/SOG_halo_1.htm "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' I still have a royce 40 ch with SSB "Alien echo board" and a black night K eagle D-104 hooked up to a Marverick 250 10 tube amplifier, haven't used it in a couple years. I just sold my Heathkit SB-220 with two 500Z tubes and foot pedal key. was using a Varmit 150 to drive it. kicking a lot of power! Robert, do you know when this photo of KC was taken? can you prove his age at the time of the photo? these are things you need to know before producing them as evidence. is it fair to keep showing pictures of suspects 10-15 years younger than what they really looked like in 1971? I don't know if this is the case here, but we have seen this on other suspects. it's ok to show pictures of the suspect, but, it's not ok to use younger pictures for resemblance to the sketches. the sketches are of a man in his mid to late 40's not 20's or 30's I have been trying to find a program I saw years ago about photo overlay's, if not mistaken it was about the lady they claimed was Amelia Earhart, they said it was more of a trick than evidence because it bleeds the two making them look very similar. this is interesting http://www.mor-tv.com/Billy-The-Kid-Or-Lookalike/-/13431468/5135418/-/bdb5k6/-/index.html "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' the only resemblance I see is the same old bald dude with a rounder and wider face than the sketch! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI

finding or looking for "the spot to jump" here are some pics from my simulator with different cloud coverage, day/night shows how it might have been difficult for Cooper to find a "LZ" pic #1 is at 10,000 just over the Lewis river pic #2 is the same photo but at night. pic #3 shows a cloud cover of 5/8 pic #4 shows a cloud cover of about 7/8 pic #5 shows no clouds at 10,000 this is a simulator but is pretty dam accurate with altitudes, distance and a mapping of 99% of the roads in the US of A "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' "One is a sketch of a person's face. The other is an actual photograph of a person. They sort of look alike to me " I disagree, KC had a wide shaped head comparing the two, one being a sketch, the other a cream puff of a guy. is it truly wise to try so hard to match a sketch? what percentage of the sketch will be right if Cooper is ID'd it's always been my understanding these sketches were made to "resemble' the person, not get a exact match we see lots of pics of Kenny without hair, and lots of pics of Duane with glasses???????? I see a sketch with hair and SUN glasses, can ya see where I'm going with this? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' Back in the 60s and early 70s the FCC maximum CB power for AM was 5 watts of input to the final amplifier stage. Later, as I recall, it was changed to 4 watts of output power. Output power is a lot easier for the FCC to measure. In 1971 there were dozens of 5 watt CB walkie talkies to choose from. 10-4? 377 Roger that 377, but I would have to say before 1974, that is when I first go into it, Dad bought us a Radio Shack TRC-30A and added a D 104 mic to it, this radio had 4 watts. Well to begin with, THIS is my favorite Citizens Band activity these days: http://www.yelp.com/biz/citizens-band-san-francisco CB and 10 meter bands are not all that different propagation wise because they are nearly adjacent on the spectrum. The upper end of CB is channel 40 which is 27.405 MHz. The lower end of the 11M band is 27.000 MHZ, only 595 KHz difference, which is roughly the spectrum difference beetween Ch 1 and CH 40 on the CB. Do you think CH 1 and Ch 40 on CB are very different propagation wise? With 5 watt CB walkie talkies, which were widely avaiable in 1971, someone on a peak of 5000 ft could have had a line of sight talking radius of one hundred miles. That covers a lot of territory. http://www.calculatoredge.com/electronics/lineofsight.htm I never tried for 100 miles with CB Walkie Talkies but I could REGULARLY get 10 miles between a pair of 100 milliwatt (0.1 watt) Lafayette brand superhet CB walkie talkies when one was on an estimated 1000 ft mountaintop and the other was line of sight by the shore of SF Bay. Look at how far pepole have talked on FRS walkie talkies: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PMR446 377 grated you are on a 1000 foot mountain, yes, I can believe that, since the maximum legal power outage on 11 meters is 4 watts, how and where were there legal 5 watt Walkies? would you agree conditions vary upon signal strength on radio freq's ? I'm sure you know what "skip" means in CB land. are there 1000 foot mountains in the drop zone? I think this is a perfect example of how a story can be stretched! I think a lot of people believe Cooper had planned to jump a lot earlier than where the FBI finally pin a area where he "may have jumped" this would put a large hole in claims of CB radio's, Airstream's and cars waiting at the jump site. Cooper didn't tell them to fly V23 or any other path other than Mexico, how would "a team" of Cooper's gang know where he was jumping? if he planned on jumping early, how did everyone arrive near Portland??? seems to me you would have the same problem the people had that was waiting on the passengers from the movie "Airplane" now arriving at gate 16, gate 17.....gate 22!! 377, you know there is a big difference between 10 and 11 meter bands right? I had many different CB radios and Walkie Talkies and strongly disagree with ranges, however I can not confirm how well they worked out west. I do see a much longer range on 10 meters as opposed to 11 meters. to find a signal from a "device or receiver" as Jo asked (both are one in the same by the way Jo) a device is a receiver, anyway, you would need a directional finder to find the signal on the ground. (see photo's) adding yet more precise planing into this caper. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' as I mentioned before, you won't find anything related to Cooper VS Collins, whether it's tom Collins, joan or Phil Collins! you are chasing ghost's that Duane planted years ago to throw people off his tracks side tracking you in a 17 year old chase. you failed to see the Boeing connection because you are fogged up wondering why Florida gave a convicted Felon a gun back? regardless of my beliefs you should have jumped on the Boeing plane instead of chasing lost or "missing prison records, what is important here, Duane getting a gun back or finding everything you can about the Boeing connection? we could all be wrong about this, but I still have serious doubts about the whole thing but I know you will continue no matter what. In my opinion you have many hurdles ahead....... so, as Mr.G puts it, there you have it...."In a nutshell" what do you think would happen here? "All you find there is a simple list and it give the SS number of deceased individuals - so WHAT good will that do. I does NOT give his work history? " smarty pants says....it's a start.... There are multiple websites that will conduct employment history research based in a person imputing their name, birthday and social security number. The sites will list all jobs that were claimed when filing federal taxes and the fee for the search varies by site. TalentWise.com is one website that will run an employment history "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' since we are now lowering the levels of my self being, (a guy who puts up shutters and a smarty pants) if this was a Family member of mine who I thought committed a crime such as this, I would have found every possible way to get answers, starting with a simple jump onto the SS death index and pull his number out of the air! Hmm can this be done, really? this is all I can tell because I only put up shutters and have trouble figuring out what else to do! sorry "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' once again you are sounding just like Knoss.... "Duane was never a chatter box. You put up stom shutters - you are not an investigator or FBI. There is NO need in my continueing to answer your ridiculous postings and the horrible way you twist and turn things. You do not even know how to separate what I say from what others have said." nobody here is a "investigator" that includes you!! I simply pointed out what the definition of Duane's vision was and put a quote up from post 25510 Robert99 pointed out. you get very defensive once confronted just like Knoss. if I was the FBI, you would still be saying the samething!! bottom line is this. Duane had problems. you admit he was farsighted which would be a problem seeing things up close without his glasses, you have admitted they were thick. we all know Duane had multiple name changes that are typical with his "profession" and not relevant to the case. Duane's early pictures resemble the sketches but not the later photo's of him around Cooper's age. (ears stick out, noticeable age lines, hair style is different. you claim his brother was close with Boeing but fail to check the validation to this claim, to have drawings of a plane in production is pretty dam close and personal with a company! 17 years Jo, think about that, that is a very long time to check into someone's background without any real progress. you have chosen to call my postings "ridiculous" but other than yourself I don't see anyone else backing that claim, however if one was to reverse the role, lot's of people have said yours are "ridiculous" I think in the future you should not ask anyone to look into your claims! advise from one non investigator to another! Duane wore glasses and I used to have all of his old glasses until I donated them. Far sighted is NOT near sighted and the old lenses were thick - not like the new stuff today. He did NOT seem to have a problem reading and didn't wear them to watch TV. Driving he needed them for depth perception. When I first met him he did NOT wear his glasses hardly at all...which I can demonstrate with family photos and Christmas photos and office photos. I was able to do without my glasses to read and still do not use my glasses to read or do the computer, but I would NOT drive without them - but I am near sighted. Duane functioned very well at home without his glasses and wore bifocals and trifocal later in life. Eyesight changes - discuss this with someone who knows more than I do... At one time I presented one of Duane's scripts and was told that he would have had NO problems at home except to read and he probably had to hold reading material out from his body...this was correct. In a plane Cabin it would have been the same as being in the house and no glasses needed. Distance judgement comes when you are driving....be it farsighted or nearsighted. Farsightedness is greater difficulty seeing near objects than distant objects. Symptoms: Aching eyes; Blurred vision of close objects; Crossed eyes (strabismus) in children; Eye strain; Headache while reading. "He did NOT seem to have a problem reading and didn't wear them to watch TV." "I think you know you won't get answer to a sensible question while demands for documented answers to impossible questions are put forth. It was said Weber only used those glasses for reading , how come he has them on in every pic ? That's not how users of reading glasses use them at all. Ive asked if Duane even was a cigarette smoker which i could actually believe but i havnt seen him holding a cig in several informal pictures. Smokers of the time period often had decent lighters , zippos , calibri's , dunhill ,ronson , being a thief he probably had a good one , where is it and why was it not mentioned or tested as it had to have been a rich source of touch dna. We don't get answers to questions like that , just more impossible demands of the fbi. I asked why was Mrs Weber quoted in 2000 as saying Duane very rarely talked of his past life yet here on DZ.com she has him a right chatterbox from day 1. Lack of answers is often an answer in itself i suppose. " "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' "If the source was telling the truth then I expect you might find some kind or report regarding thefts where the victims claimed the robber did NOT take everything and left some cash. One does NOT miss a 20 laying on the dresser after a room is robbed and their wallet and credit cards GONE." the possibilities are endless Jo, criminals work different ways, they seek out different things, disruption could cause them to leave early, leaving valuables behind etc. etc...... "I expect you are still NOT getting it" no I don't, but please explain how this ties him to being Cooper?
