laptop: linux from scratch/ windows xp for games work desktop: debian for sparc other work machines: solaris and irix just started using mac os x on my g/f's laptop, a user friendly gui on top of a real operating system, i think im in love.

I use linux too, the 26 days thing made me let out a conceited little grunt. Those power books sure make me drool, i don't understand why a pc manufacture can't make a laptop that looks and feels as nice as the power books do.My dell laptop feels like a plastic toy. Its covered with poor engineering. If i didn't enjoy playing games as much i would consider buying a power book, but they also cost alot awful lot more then a pc. adam P.S. The spell checker is suggesting luftwaffe for laptop, thats funny.

I work for a resaler so i get to play with some cool shit. The biggest i've been through its the E10k. The nice part is i don't have to run anything specific on them. I just have to make sure that the hardware is in working order. Otherwise i can do what i want, as long as i don't damage them.

Yes but it doesn't look like the source is available. So it will only run on i86 linux not sparc. Edit: got beat by blahr. Too bad there isn't a solaris version. I could put a 64way Enterprise10k and a 1.5mbps of bandwith on the task. That would help our rank quite a bit.

I don't know but that was the only part of the movie that i really didn't like. It felt so forced and out of place. The matrix didn't need a love/rave sceen. It could of been a standard 2 hour movie with out it. But they had to push that crap in there and make it 2 hours 20. blah.
