In the true spirit of randomness that makes the show what it is, there is an episode where he stops what he is doing, feels his chin, states "hey how did those get there", removes them and puts them in his pants. I really can't decide between simpsons and FG. Simpsons has been around for along time and pretty much inspired the other primetime adult cartoons. But FG is just so random and so off the wall. Its almost too much sometimes.

I know of two jumpers last year who had their center cells blow out on their raven reserves during terminal deployments. I believe they were loaded and deployed within the recommended limits. I do not know the exact model reserves in question, but i can find out. A precision sales rep actually had the nerve to tell one of the jumpers that he was a test to the quality of his product. Because the partially failed reserve was still landable. I have a raven-m 181. It has one terminal deployment that i know of, after witch it was sent back to the manufacture for inspection and it checked out fine. I have one subterminal deployment on it since then and it seemed to being flying just fine, although it was a short flight. Although i am hoping i don't have and terminal reserve rides before i can get me a PD reserve.

I've been jumping alot in the last couple of months, where the hell have you been?? ;-)

Yes i noticed that too. They never showed a helicopter and made it a point to talk about hiking and climbing, but alot of the video was obviously shot from a helo. Some of those cliffs would have to of been multi day climbs but they showed them doing a couple of loads off each object. Definitely awesome tracking. Im not a base jumper but i thought they did a good job representing the sport.

The harness is attached to the rig in his hand, so he can stay with it through opening. It isn't a second rig if that is what you were thinking. Getting to the handels in a mal would be a problem as far as i can tell. But he does open really high and probably packs nice a careful. Good Stuff is definitely a must have dvd.

About a year ago i tried running the jumptrack software via wine. It didn't work, but i don't know much about setting up wine. Maybe there has been advances in the software and it would work now, wine is one of the more active open source projects. If you get the jumptrack software to work there is a good chance the serial communication to the protrack would work.

They should of made it a doe not a buck. Still funny tho.

i hate my dell. Mostly because it feels like a cheap piece of plastic. and i am always having to fix it. It is filled with poor design decisions. But it is more upgradeable then other laptops and parts are easier to finds, it was also relatively cheap. This is an inspiron 8200 i am talking about. My next laptop will be a 15" powerbook.

Hey Billvon, Wendy - Sony PS2s Hacked into Supercomputer Cluster

How did hacking the Dreamcast contribute to its death? -
As for the hard disk case, primary and secondary are already used to describe another part of the system. And primary and secondary don't accurately describe the relationship between the two devices. An IDE controller consists of 2 channels a primary channel and a secondary channel. Each channel can connect 2 devices a master and a slave. The master is in control of the channel it is connected to.

I posted the memo yesterday, but this article has more info so i think it was a good post.

Im thinking the gun fired in the air was the story the shooter gave to police. It sounds more inocent then, "I picked up the wrong gun and shot him in the head." The nature of the injury should hold the truth.
-
Yes bmc308 posted that the local news was reporting that the man thought he was shooting a paintball gun and actually shot him with a real gun. So maybe it isn't a case of freefalling bullets.

Or audio video dubbing equipment.

http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/outrage/master.asp I would have expected the bay area to be the first to come out with something this ridiculous, but im kinda glad socal gets the honors.

That is correct, and the hour hand move 30 degrees in one hour. But the question was expecting you to use the precedent of 1/60th a minute which is wrong.
-
This gives a real world scenario that pretty much settles this thread: Free Falling Bullets

Hobby, People like to collect guns. We don't need rare postage stamps or classic cars or baseball cards or any of the thousands of other useless things people collect.

That was my biggest problem with the movie. Nothing changed, right back to where it all started. How can anybody be expect to care about the story after they find out none it makes any difference. The marketting slogan should have been "everything that has a begining goes back to the begining"

I wasn't sure if the she was talking about humans or programs being free to leave. I wonder how they would go about making the people in the matrix aware of a choice. I think telling them that there world is fake and they can choose to stay or go would cause enough chaos to destroy it.
