  11. *** That means 1000 feet forward for every foot down. *** This is a typo right. Sail planes don't even have ratio's like that. 45 degrees would be a glide ratio of 2:1 i think. 2 feet forward for 1 foot down. edit: actually im wrong, 45 degrees would be 1:1. Arn't people are aproching that in a regular track, without a suite. adam
  12. There might be some in development but as far as i can tell there are none on the market. 5400rpm is fast for a laptop drive, most are 4200. I have a 48gb IBM at 5400rpm, its a nice drive.
  13. Im pretty sure the fastest laptop harddrives are 5400rpm.

Not like i was able to jump anyway. BTW the cast is now good riddens. adam P.S. Hey liz, any encounters with zip ties or dairy products sunday night?
  20. I think having intelligence on par with GW would feel more like a nightmare then a dream. Then again you probably wouldn't even be aware of it. adam

  22. I use windowmaker with gtk and some other gnome libs. Its all custom how i want it. I don't need everything associated with a full desktop environment. I mostly use the command line anyways. Here is a screen shot.

  24. No kids huh, thats kinda a shame. You sound as if you would make a really good mother. adam
  25. It certianly is, wich is why i hardly watch any. Not that it makes a difference, consumerism is the US's life blood. This country wouldn't exist in its present form if people didn't buy so much worthless junk. TV is still the best way to tell the mindless masses what the want and need. Public school helps out in preventing the majority of each sucessive generation from knowing that they are actually afraid of thinking for themselves. /rant adam
