I didn't know they allowed 3-way marriages in Illinois!!??

Have you seen the sign that they put out when the landing area is muddy? It has a picture of someone completely covered in mud while wearing Square One demo gear... and a copy of the invoice that the customer got for the repack and the cleaning.
-
I didn't mean to go on about it.... It's Chuck's fault because he kept asking me about it... But I'm glad to see that you finally figured out how to resize a picture.
-
Umm.... I don't think I'll answer that one.

Here is the link to the thread about it: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1491810;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread

This? http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050221/ap_on_re_us/old_jumper_1 I think I saw something about it on dz.com too, but I don't remember where it was.

They all look fine to me except the very last one - it looks like a bunch of green and grey blobs. I thought maybe it was my monitor, but I just looked at it on our two other monitors and it looks the same... I dunno, I'm probably just hallucinating...

I'm too much of a clutz... If I tried to put on a strip show, I have a feeling it would turn out to be a lot more comical than sexy.

I have been really impressed with the drainage system where I live (sort of close to Perris). With as much rain as we have had, I'm surprised we haven't had any flooding... but I'm pretty sure that is due to the way this subdivision was built. (And maybe I shouldn't be speaking too soon since the rain is not over yet!)
-
That's what I thought... probably would have worked better to resize the dimensions (but I'm sure you know that).
-
On my screen the picture is all pixelated so that I can't really tell what it is.
-
Wow, that's a lot of rain... We've had a lot too... We have a river behind our house that is usually just a dry creek bed... Oh, and there's something funky about that last picture (canyon2), or maybe my eyes are just blurry.

Cindy Sherman has some cool stuff... http://www.masters-of-photography.com/S/sherman/sherman.html

It's the tasty cheeseburgers... they are like crack... Mmm... McDonald's cheeseburgers... makes me have fantasies about grown men with red 'fros, wearing red, white, & yellow... Yummy!

Check out the movie trailer I am in!!!! WOO HOO!
Shotgun replied to fireflytx's topic in The Bonfire
Very cool! Looks like a funny movie... I love Eric Stoltz... And the fire dancing looked awesome! (Can't wait to see a longer version of it!) -
Ok, all this talk about life being a dance is reminding me of a song from one of my favorite movies:

I just had a look in my old logbook... It was 1991, and the only thing I have written down for equipment is "Maverone" so maybe it was bigger than a 230 (my memory isn't so good anymore - though I do seem to remember it being a white and rainbow-colored canopy)... And yes, it does take a manly man to jump pink.
-
Yeah, I jumped there one time after I was off student status... In fact, I just came across this picture the other day and had a laugh... I am the one who looks like a kid with a giant rig on... I didn't have my own gear, and a 230 was the smallest thing they had for me to rent... (Hmm, now I'm wondering if I met you when I was there?) (Didn't mean to hijack the thread, but at least we're talking about Texas so it's somewhat relevant. )
-
Hey, I didn't even have anyone on the ground showing me where to go! But then my first few landings were so far away from the dz that I wouldn't have been able to see them anyway... Did you make your first jump at WesTex? I almost made my first jump while living in Midland, but I was too young and my mom wouldn't sign the papers... But I called a dz out there to ask them about it. (Can't remember the name of that dz, but I think it was out at the Eagle's Nest airport... Do you know if they're still open?)
-
I think the skydiving scene in that movie was the only skydiving I had ever seen when I went to make my first jump... so I wasn't really sure what to expect.
-
Perhaps he will... but until then, you can't really claim that he's giving some great message of hope to drug users. I think when it involves breaking the law, which is what he did by smoking pot, it becomes a lot more than just a "personal problem"... and the public has every right to know about any laws that the POTUS has broken, even if it was in his past.
-
For him to give that message, he would first of all have to be honest about his drug use rather than lie about it.
-
If you're referring to Bush, I don't think he's going to be convincing anyone that drugs can destroy your life... You can smoke weed and be an alcoholic and still have a chance of one day being the President of the United States; his life doesn't look very "destroyed" to me.
